PC Xrd is finally released and I snooped in the files and found something interresting regarding Ram that's 100% useless. From the translation files, her dauro, before translated as dauro, is classified as CxRAMFujinken. According to google translate, fujinken means women's rights. Also, exploder is called CxRAMTosshinRanbuExe, which can be translated as wild rushdance (rush/charge wild dance). All of her launch/retrieval moves are named bunri, which means separation/detachment. Sadly, Cassius isn't logical, it's classified as CxRAMmiddleShot. Interrestingly, sildo is classified as CxRAMBanditRevolverLand and CxRAMBanditRevolverAir. That's some lazy naming. -

I had a peek at what gamefiles were possible to change (I want hitboxes ffs) but didn't have a lot of luck. The langauge files however are freely editable. Filepath is Steam\SteamApps\common\GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN-\REDGame\Localization for those who cares.

There is? Does it cause stuttering? I sometimes got a lot of stuttering in some matches but my fps counter was still stable 60 fps, my opponent didn't notice anything.

@Oiboi are you sure you're getting 60fps constant? I played a guy who had 50fps and it got us to 11f delay even though he's somewhat close. @daymendou https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmtNXG6DX9A made a short clip of going from title screen to ingame arcade match. I've been playing this game on PS3 for a year now but I'm not sure what the loading times are on PS4. I'm not running the game off my SSD either.

Hmm, I was able to invite friends on my steam friends list with this. Standard steam invite dialogue. Using PS3 hud textures is weird, the textures for keyboard-keys and xbox 360-buttons are also pretty bad but doesn't take away much. Lobbies might be broken. I tried to join some public lobbies and when i joined, I got the text that every player in the lobby left and joined. See http://i.imgur.com/vBptN3E.jpg (Screenshot windowed but same shitty textures in fullscreen) Was able to play a match but mid-match if someone joined the lobby I got the same thing, tons of text of everyone leaving and joining again and during this my fps dropped dramatically. I have a pretty strong computer and it's usually dead steady 60fps. I joined a different lobby a bit later with players, when I joined I got the same left/joined from every player but this time only one player was at a cab. I joined his cab and got the message that I had to wait for that player, so I'm guessing he was still mid match and so was the rest in the lobby, just fucky stuff happening. Apart from that, alt+enter switched between windowed and fullscreen which is nice. Lack of loading times is almost unsettling.

Still able to test things? Since afterburner is faster now, would for example combo into jD xx afterburner put bullet in +?

FEEL THE HEEL is my new slogal. 720 super got a slight nerf in the damage department, from 5020 dmg to 4620 dmg, but I guess that's in line with all damage nerfed. < EDIT: Later in the video it does 5082 dmg. I don't know anymore.

Yeah it's definitely reactable, but a lot of mixups are. :> You can combat switchblocking by slightly delay the low so it comes out aprox at the same time as the overhead. The low option have a REALLY small gap, enough for a mashed DP but even in practice I had trouble DP'in consistently against it. For the overhead option there's a larger gap but it's risky to press buttons because they might whiff because of distance, or the low might come out which is safe in this case. Mainly the point of the backdash YRC is to mess up peoples timing on wakeup, and allow space so the first two hits of 2KP to whiff which makes the followups come out faster than people might expect (no blockstun to help you react), and as low as possible j2S. But, one of its strengths is that it's different, if people see a mixup they have never seen before they don't know what to do. So far in practical matches I have a almost 100% success rate (apart from one where i misspaced entirely and my overhead just missed), but nobody have so far blocked it. I'm still working on it, seeing if I can improve it. I have also started trying to use air sildo YRC more, since you have enough time to do a jump 6S (or 6H in the corner) air sildo YRC, and either do a really fast falling jK or land 2K, or even fuzzy. Seems pretty hard to react to, but so far I've been mashed out of it most of the time. :< Needs more work. -
One of the main buffs she got was that she can go from H2 to H2 in a corner combo, with huge damage. A typical combo would be something like; H2 6A 5C 3C 41236C 236D 236[A] 6C (delay so you get sideswitch) jC jD 623C *wallsplat* 5[C] 5D 623B. Does around 5k and you won't lose heat. There's also tons of variations to this combo depending on character and number of hits, but the general gist is that you use 6C to knock them away from the wall so you switch side, then hit a drive so you can toss them back at the wall with snaphance. When your combo is done you usually want to special cancel the last drive with 623C for oki since you get a safejump off it and pretty good advantage for a mixup. If you have your back against the corner and your abare is strong with some 2A mash, congrats you just got free H2. 2A 2A 2B 5B 5C 5D 623C *wallsplat* run up 6C jc jD. Her DP is also slightly comboable on CH now, though the rewards are very small... unless you have your back against the corner! Free heat level. CH 623B 6B 623C *wallsplat* 6C jc jD. (jc = jump cancel, jC = jump C) Since her drive can't be bursted or the special followups, if you have 2H and 50 meter you can do 3.5k unburstable damage to end rounds if they have burst from a stray D hit. Hit a raw 5D or jD > 623C 623D > super. In heat 2, don't be scared of using 236[A] in neutral. On hit you have good time to dash up and do 6B 623C into full combo, you should get like 5k midscreen off this.

So 5D red lock still have invul? Damn, that sounds strong. Seems like they try to overpower her drive and tone down everything else about her, considering weaker combo from 6A, harder followup on CH jC, etc. Is top tier Bullet actually happening??

Yo, some new silly OKI for ya guys. 2KK > dash jump over 6S > air backdash jK (6S hits) Dauro. Vary timing on backdash if you want it to be a crossup or a fake crossup, works surprisingly well. At least I've had good success with it so far. And secondly, a meaty OKI that beats Sol dp for some weird reason. 2KK > 6S > jumpin jH immediately. Of course, equipped, jH is super meaty and you get combo if they do stuff as you land after 6S hits. If Sol does his DP it whiffs for some strange reason. Ky DP does not whiff. -
I agree to that, if you miquelet tagers projectile you do mad reads / insufferable luck. I wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

Well 22D after 623B is used if you need to squeeze out that tiny bit of damage you need to win the round. However it's her weakest way to spend heat so don't do it if it won't kill. If you have heat + meter you can do 22D > 2363214C. Miquelet brake, well if you're good on your miquelet execution you can basically run through some fireballs but this is kind hard to do consistently. I only use break in a corner setup because you can catch people with miquelet before you need to break so I do my setup and do miquelet > break. If they get hit by the miquelet I get a 5.5k combo, if they crouch/evade the miquelet I break and is harder to punish.

With 5A? Hmm, usually it's done with 2A as you can do a OS to protect yourself against wakeup DP's. Do 2A > 4A+B, if 2A hits you confirm into 5B but if 2A whiffs (because of a DP) you go into barrier block instead of 5B.

For all the buffs she gained, it doesn't seem like 5D red lock is invulnerable from f1 anymore, according to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60izNQTinu8&feature=youtu.be&t=84 Bullet gets counter-hit, but you can clearly see that she's in red lock and she does animate for 1 frame before getting hit. Did she maybe cancel her drive?

While CH cutting shears wasn't that good, you still got a free heat level if you got it while having your back to a corner. Not that it will change much becuase most people who have played against bullet know how weak cutting shears is in that situation and just outranges / jumps instead. Like what I'm hearing about the other changes. What I'm apparantly not liking are the forum changes, I don't want my enter to skip a line..
