Wasn't Azhi supposed to have projectile invuln or did they take that away? Am I missing something here?) vs Vatista 04:09:40 & 04:13:15 (They switch to 3 rounds before the second game. Yay more time to see Chaos! I noticed in the first game around 04:11:28 he canceled 214C into 236C in VO for some nice damage. I wanna say he could have done even more off that combo, though. Maybe 2C > IW or something?) vs Phonon 04:17:30 (This does not look like a fun matchup...) Kinda sad I haven't been able to see any crazy XVO combos yet, but oh well.

Hi so uh, I was watching this match vs Wald and I couldn't help but wonder...is it me or does this matchup look really Vorpal based here? It seemed to me that they were both trying pretty hard to get it, and when one of them did, they had the advantage. I'm just really wondering how much Chaos' Vorpal buff is gonna help him in the long run. It looks like it could be really good, but it could also just be wishful thinking...>_<

Man, I really wanted to play tonight. Well, I guess I could use this time to actually do some lab grinding for once...

Sorry for disappearing last night outta nowhere. My internet decided it was time for bed.

I think the problem with that is that it'd be hard for us all to communicate with one another. Considering the main purpose is for everyone to help each other improve, not being able to see all the matches and comment on them would take away some of the importance of what we're trying to do.

So I'm gonna actually try to be helpful here despite my knowledge of this particular game being minimal. Here goes: Regarding mixup with Marie and OMCs, a neat little thing I found labbing with Marie is 5BB > OMC. What this leads to is like the fastest high > low I've ever seen. Since 5BB leaves you airborne if you OMC it, you can do an extremely low to the ground j.B, then immediately land and do 5A. No matter which one they get hit with, they're gonna get combo'd, but if by some holy act they manage to block this, you can just start your pressure over again. Also, after blocking this for a couple minutes in training and mashing Narukami's and Yosuke's DPs with all my heart and soul, I found this is also a true blockstring, so you're safe from DPs when attempting this. It's little things like this that can go a long way when it comes to mixup with OMCs. Lab it up and see what you can find.

I gotta say this weekend was probably the most fun weekend I've had in these lobbies. So many ridiculous things happened, like Shabrys mirrors, as well as quite a lot of Narukami being full on retard (and still winning cus Narukami). I think I should probably do a little less dicking around and a lot more actual practice with my mains this coming week though... I really don't think you should get down on yourself. You're easily the best Marie I've played yet. Speaking of color though, I have no idea how I'm still Yellow considering I've ranked up THREE people to Orange since I got it. This game must like me.

Some tips on how to deal with Azhi (the lizard): Try to find an opening to hit him while he's recovering from an attack, as you can't hit him while he's stationary or walking toward you, only when he's in an attack animation. Also it's important to note that 5A/2A attacks can't break him, so don't bother with those or you'll just get hit. You do kinda have to be careful when trying to hit Azhi, as one of the only things Chaos is good at is frame traps. If the Chaos is smart (aka not me), he'll mix up his attacks properly to bait a bad button, and then you'll take damage. It's not too reliable, though. GGs!

Most I'll ever do when it comes to the serious thing is just mess around with one of my (trash) subs. It's not really a thing of not being serious, it's just a thing where I find characters that aren't my main fun to play once in a while. I'm still giving it my 100% with the characters I play. I do the same in BB as well. Can't help it. Winning with Day -50 Narukami feels so fraudulent. My Narukami is still worst Narukami tho.
