  1. Here are three options for challenge 20:
  2. 5A > 5A > Guren is something I originally stole from Chin, but he used it as a combo ender and not a combo filler. I only saw it being used once and it was in a 1.1 match against Serizawa, from either July or August 2014. He used it after the loops and followed Guren by dash > 9jc > J.B(fake cross-up). When we discovered that the loops were no longer working in 2.0, I tried to look for alternative in 1.1 and eventually came up with the 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A/5B > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A route, thanks to Chin's tech.
  3. Day 1 notes. Collapsed: Basic combos: ... > Enma > Dash > 5A > 5B > J.B > J.2A > jc > J.B > J.2A > Agito (1991) Works with 5A > 5B before Enma but not J.A > 5A > 5B. (Crouching) ... > Guren > 2A > 6A > 6B/3C (1415) (Corner) ... Enma > 6C > 5C > Guren > 5C > 3C (3000) Works even with J.A > 5A > 5B. (Corner)... Enma > 6C > 2C > J.C > Hotaru > Delay AD > J.2A > J.C > 5C > 5C > Guren > 5C > 3C (4640) Could be character specific but I didn't have the time to test. Without J.2A (4614) The combos below don't work if they are done too close to the corner. Collapsed: Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A: 5C CH > Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (5477) Doesn't work on: Bang, Jin, Kagura, Lambda, Litchi, Makoto, Nu, Platinum, Rachel and Taokaka J.B needs to be delayed on Valk or 5C will whiff. 5C CH > Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A > 6B > 2A > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (5322) Bang, Jin, Lambda, Litchi, Nu 5C CH > Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A > 6B > 2A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (5451) Platinum, Taokaka 5C CH > Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A > 6B > 2A > 2A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (5303) Rachel 5C CH > Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A > 6B > 5A > 5B > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (5729) Lambda, Nu, Hazama, Makoto, Relius, Terumi, Tsubaki On Lambda, Nu and Makoto: Walk forward a bit after Kishuu and delay 5A. On Hazama, Relius, Terumi and Tsubaki: Don't walk after Kishuu and delay 5A. It's harder than the timing above, 5A > 5A also works on those characters and is much easier. Those combos also work without a counter hit if the opponent is crouching or in the air, other starters include Raw Zantetsu (4130 with 5A > 5A), Air-to-air J.B CH > 5C > Zantetsu (4141 with 5A > 5A), 6B CH > 5C > Zantetsu (5014 with 5A > 5A, but only the 5A > 5A and 2A > 5A routes seem to work)... Collapsed: AA 5C > Kishuu > 6A / 6B CH > 6A : Same character specific routes as above. Except for Hazama, Relius, Terumi and Tsubaki 5A > 5A has to be done instead. 5C AA > Kishuu > 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (3280) Agito CH > J.B > 5C > Kishuu > 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (2624) Air-to-air J.B CH > 5C > Kishuu > 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (2577) Enma > Walk > 5C > Kishuu > 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (2869) Doesn't work from too far, 5B (max range) seems to be the limit. The first 5C could be character specific too, but I didn't test it on everyone yet. 6B CH > Walk 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (2744) Only works at close range.
  4. Here are the things I tested so far, I'll edit it little by little. - 5C > OD > 6A works. - 5C AA or CH > Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > Walk 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (5477) works on Ragna midscreen, most likely still character specific, couldn't get neither 5A > 5B nor 5A > 2B so far. - On normal hit 5C > Guren > Zantetsu > 2C > J.B > J.2A > jc > J.B > J.2A > Agito (5205) and with Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu (5353), however the 6A > 6B routes generates one more magatama than both of those routes. - 5C AA > Kishuu > 6A > 6B > 5A > 5A > Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 5C > 3C (3280) - For every combo tested so far J.B > J.2A > jc > J.B > J.2A > Agito deals as much damage as J.B > J.2A > jc > J.2C > Agito. - It feels like 5A has less hitstun? - Hotaru feels like it's a S-starter now? Hotaru > AD J.2C > 6A > 6B > 5A > 5B or J.B, used to be valid in 1.1 but I couldn't do it so far, it could be because of the distance though. - In the corner Backthrow(1) RC > OD > 6C no longer works, backthrow(1) has less hitstun. It doesn't work with 5C instead of 6C either. Edit: Bedtime, I'll test again tomorrow morning.
  5. I'll also get the game day 1, if there is anything somebody wants to test, feel free to ask me. Also, out of curiosity, is there an Haku-men Skype group?

  11. It's a bit early and could be pointless, but here is a Zantetsu combo which works in 1.1 and maybe 2.0 if it is tweaked a little bit. Zantetsu(1) > Kishuu > (Microwalk) 6A > 6B > Delay 5A > 5B > Delay Guren > IAD J.B > J.2A > 2C > hjc J.2A > jc > J.2C > Agito (4246) It's as powerful as the loop combo, but costs one additional star. Thankfully, the 6A > 6B > 5A > 5B part before Guren generates about 0.8~0.9 magatama on its own. It also works with other starters such as 5C CH > Zantetsu, 6B CH > (Walk) 6A > 6B, AA CH J.B > 5C > Kishuu > 6A > 6B. The first half of the combo shouldn't change in 2.0 and the air combo would need some minor adjustments. The main issue is J.2A > 2C, J.2A has less hitsun in 2.0, but Haku also lands earlier and it leaves the opponent closer to the ground. Consequently, it's not possible to know yet whether it works in 2.0 or if another move has to be used instead of 2C or if it doesn't work at all. Furthermore, it's character specific 5A > 5A or 5A > 2B need to be used instead of 5A > 5B on some characters, and it doesn't work on Bang and Amane.. On the bright side, it would give us back some of our corner carry, increase our damages midscreen and give us something that isn't just a plain staircase combo.

  13. Actually, there is one at the bottom of the page: 2K > c.S > f.S > EW > 5H > J.SHD2K > J.SK > jc > J.KD (204) For 2K/5K > 236K RC starters on Ky, the 2H combo you found on him can be resued : 5K > 236K RC > Dash > 5H > 2H > c.S > J.SHD > jc > J.KSHD2K > J.PD (183) J.SHD > jc > J.KSHD2K > J.PD needs to be done as fast as possible. The first combo seems to only work if dandy is done near the opponent. Fortunately, the second combo works on Sol and Slayer as well, it's a bit weaker (-3 damage on Sol, -4 on Slayer), but more stable. For the second combo, 5H has to be delayed on the light characters (Millia, May, Ramlethal) and the first J.D needs to be delayed a lot on the other characters. Visually speaking, they need to be higher than you when you hit them with J.D. Otherwise, J.P will whiff.
  14. Nice job daymendou! I'll try to translate the whole thing, standerdize the notations and correct any errors by Monday. Edit: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s500/sh/528feb64-39e6-42a9-b4f7-7615aee181f6/1f6f6185cf7ae5be3f1b6056a7be8c28
  15. Slayer will briefly disappear, reappear at the same place and DOT will come out.
  16. Those combos were for midscreen 6P CH : 6P CH > 236K > RC > Forward Dash 6H > c.S > f.S > J.SHD2K > J.PK > jc > J.KPD (206) Works on everyone but Faust, Ramlethal and Potemkin. It's possible to do 214PS > c.S instead of c.S > f.S for additional damage (And outdamage CWH loop), however it only works if the 6P is done next to the opponent or if the corner is reached. Faust and Ramlethal: 6P CH > 236K > RC > Forward Dash 6H > c.S > J.SHD2K > J.PK > jc > J.SKD (198/207) Potemkin: 6P CH > 236K > RC > Forward Dash Cancel 214KK > 5H > J.SHD2K > J.PK > jc > J.KPD (182) 6P CH > 236K > RC > Forward Dash 5H > J.SHD2K > J.K > jc > J.SHD (180) Other routes involved: 6P CH RC > Long Dash or 214K > Delay 5H > J.SHD2K > J.K > jc > J.SHD (214) If done correctly, it avoids the red roman cancel proration. You need to cancel 6H into 214P as soon as you possible, slightly delay Underpressure and delay the c.S again to avoid doing It's late. If you are practicing it midscreen, be aware that it doesn't work if you are too far from your opponent, f.S will come out instead of c.S. J.214K is only worth using if you can kill the opponents with the additional hits. otherwise it's not interesting at all, since it doesn't knockdown. J.D has to be delayed quite a lot on Zato. It could just be my gut feeling, but the combo seems easier on him if the c.S is done a bit earlier than usual.
  17. 2H > 5P has to be used on Elphelt, Millia and Ramlethal. By the way, 2H corner combos were added a few days ago in my first post in the combo thread.
  18. Yes, but only with RC. Bloodsucking Universe RC > 6H > 214PP (112) Bloodsucking Universe RC > Walk > 5H > 2D (88) Bloodsucking Universe RC > 5D is possible as well but you need to RC as soon as possible. All the 5D combos I mentioned in my previous posts should work in that situation.
  19. Back with the rest of the 5D knockdown combos midscreen: [collapse]Faust: [Easy] 5D(9) > Falling J.D > J.2KKD > jc > J.KD (101) [Hard] 5D(9) > Falling Delay J.D > J.2KD > J.2KPK > jc > J.SHD (104) I tried the combo Hase attempted: 5D(9) > Falling J.D > J.2KKD > jc > J.SHD > J.2KPD However, I couldn't get the J.P after the second J.2K. I had it a few times with J.S(2) for 114 damage, but it didn't knockown. Slayer: You need to delay the first J.D a lot, otherwise J.2K will whiff. 5D(9) > Falling Delay J.D > J.2KKD (79) 5D(9) > Falling Delay J.D > J.2KKD > jc > J.PD (90) The J.P is optional for the second combo. Ramlethal/I-No: 5D(9) > Falling J.HD > J.2KD (96) Most likely improvable, but this is the only thing I found so far.[/collapse] It's old, I also mentionned a Dust combo in my first post, might as well share it now. [collapse]5D(6) > J.HD > 5H > 2H > c.S > hjc > J.SHD2K > J.PD Sin (166),Faust (162) Sol (162), May I-No Axl (167), Chipp (208), Potemkin and Bedman (146), Slayer (151), Venom (162), Eddie (171). J.D needs to be delayed on some characters. It's possible to get slighty longer combos using JI and double jumps, but it only adds 1~2 Damage. 5D(6) > J.HD > 5H > 2H > c.S > jc > J.SHD2K > J.SK > jc >J.PD Sin (168), Ky (164). 5D(6) > J.HD > 5H > 2H > c.S > jc > J.SHD2K > J.SK > jc > J.SKD Bedman and Potemkin (147). Instead of using J.HD > 5H, cS > 6H > 5H and 6H > 5H can be used instead, the damages are almost the same. However, J.HD is a lot easier to do and the timing is the same on everyone, unlike the two others. Those combos also work with Raw It's Late and Raw Mappa RC > 5D as starters and are more powerful than the standard route by 15~20 damage.[/collapse]
  20. 5D(9) > Falling J.HD > J.2KD > J.2KPD > jc > J.PKD Sin (114), Chipp (141), Potemkin (100), Axl (116), Eddie (118) 5D(9) > Falling J.HD > J.2KD > J.2KPK > jc > J.D Sin (111), Millia (130), Sol (110), Ky (110), May (113), Chipp (139), Elphelt (110), Potemkin (98), Axl (113), Venom (110), Eddie (115), Bedman (98) J.H has to be delayed in order to get the falling J.HD. The first J.D whiffed everytime I tried it against Faust and Slayer. Even with J.KD and J.PD, I couldn't get anything. The second route also works on Ramlethal and I-No, but it doesn't knock them down, so it didn't list them. I can't test on Leo, but the second route probably works on him. I'll edit this post if I find anything better.
