  1. The exact same combo can be done in 1.1 with 50% life and 8 magatama for 8.4k. And I have been struck by lightning more often than I have landed this combo in a real match.

Not necessarily, it can be used in some rare situations from fullscreen away to narrow the gap and land a J.C as close to the ground, which can beat some anti-airs or jumps if spaced and timed correctly. Some 5A can deal with it quite well (Especially Ragna's) but as you said it's difficult to do it on reaction anyway. The great thing about IAD J.A < J.C is that there are a lot of variations possible (7, 8 or 9 IAD, delay AD, hjc AD...) to mess with our opponent's head and adapt to the situation.
  3. OD Yukikaze < Mugen < Shippu. 3 super for an unburstable 8k combo that turns our opponents into salt marshes. Otherwise, it's rather limited. In order to activate Mugen in the middle of a practical combo, we need to use either 6C or 6A, while the other character is still on the ground. Since 6A is faster in 2.0, it might be possible to do something like 5C < OD cancel < 6A, but that could be all.

  5. I edited my two previous posts, because I was not really clear. My apologies. I mentioned earlier why it was very unlikely for 2D and 5D. As far as J.D is concerned, since it has less recovery, it might be possible to do J.D < 5C < Zantetsu, it's working in 1.1 with a RC after the J.D or in overdrive. I wouldn't count on it though, that would be way to sweet of a buff. In the case of 6D, if it wasn't changed in 2.0, it won't work. We'll have to spend at the very least spend an additional star and do 6D < Guren < Zantetsu. But honestly, has anybody ever landed a 6D in CP? According to the wiki: "You can cancel into Overdrive almost anytime you could cancel into a Special Move.", so that would be highly probable.
  6. The key word is "only". There is no real reason to show an OD 5D combo, unless we can't combo without overdrive, since it is extremely impractical. Besides, if 5D and 2D were truly special cancelable on a succesful catch in CP2.0, then that something you would expect to be found quickly and showed in combo videos or used in matches, which isn't the case here.
  7. That seems unlikely for standard 2D and 5D. In the latest combo video there was only a 2D/5D combo and it was during overdrive.

  11. It was already possible to deal 7k damage of a 2B in CP1.1 without a counter hit, but with longer combos. It's worth pointing out that the combo Film did only does 6.1k damage in CP1.1 (with a level 2 Shippu, 5.7k with a level 1). So it should be possible to go even higher with Zantetsu's bonus proration. Edit: I had forgotten to take into account the 2C at the end of Film's combos, sorry. Yes, it was, but only close to the ground or with a CH. Also hi everyone, I have been lurking on this forum since CT, please no hazing.
