I won't be able to for a few weeks anyhow. A monthly would be awesome I think. Hopefully we'd get a solid turnout and could make a good name for Boston.

I want something that's more dedicated to anime games than GU. Plus, I don't wanna go all the way to Natick.

I'm looking to start a monthly tournament in Boston featuring Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Persona, UNIEL, and maybe some SF and KI on the side. Guilty Gear would likely be the main event and depending on interest there could be a cash prize. I'd love to set up a stream and everything for this so anyone who wants to play some games and possibly make some money should express their interest here. If I get enough interest I'll do my best to make it happen.

I'd imagine that's what we'll see. but we're probably not gonna see all these little updates anymore because they can be dona OTA now.

TBH Dizzy can already play pretty aggressively. I don't see the need to change her whatsoever and if she comes back I hope they leave her alone for the most part (of course I'm aware nobody is saying definitively that she will change). I feel like she has good options for both zoning and using her projectiles to cover her approach. She also has lots of long-range normals that can easily start things for her.

That would be impossible for a game that's not a full on major update. Revelator is literally just adding characters and some story. In a major version I suppose that's possible. but we're definitely not gonna see it anytime soon. Also if that happens it'd be a clusterfuck.

Where can we pre-register? I'm so hyped for this.

If the top two end up being really close I think they'd be fools not to include both. It would be easy to make the second one DLC and make extra money.

That's just it, they never said they wouldn't include more than the top character. The way things are looking right now, I would imagine they'd include the top two since the margin is so small.

We're talking about playable characters.

I want Dizzy back so badly. Dizzy looks so fun from the older games, and I wanna see her in some good quality. If she is put in Revelator then I'd actually like the Guilty Gear series. Since Ramlethal was nerfed (and even when she was good), I haven't really cared much for Guilty Gear because none of the characters fit my play style, but Dizzy would change that. Come on Japanese arcade-goers, vote Dizzy!

The way I believe Vatista should be played is that you should make the opponent come to you. I don't generally approach my opponents. I make them play my game. If I can't (if I'm fighting a Hilda, and sometimes Nanase is trouble but Hilda especially), I will switch to Merkava. Merkava is my sub because he can turn bad matchups in my favor. With Vatista's fragments, you need a stick. Some people think you can play Vatista on pad if you really try but I dispute that it's possible. I need to get my stick before I can do many useful combos.
