  1. It does matter, if you TK a standalone 5K it won't combo. 5K has to be jump installed.
  2. You shouldn't. If you do than you're doing a TK'd version. Oh, I don't think her hoverdash auto jump installs in reload. I was assuming you were on AC. Why are you hitting respect? If you're hitting respect to keep I-No from jumping while inputting the command than you're doing it waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too slow. The timing has to be perfect so I'm assuming that is where your failure issue lies but just keep tyring, you'll get it right eventually. I would suggest you learn to TK airdash before you learn how to jump install airdash.

  4. you can also just do a mixup from the hoverdash. it has an auto jump install property. try (note) jk, js, 2k, c.s, 2s, 2d, hcl. you don't have to just press 8. for instance a 360 done as 63214+K(hold)7896(release) will jump install a stand alone 5K. and honestly I don't see why you would need to jump install that example. if you're going to follow up a 5H with HCL just tiger knee it with a 360. it's much easier. EDIT: to answer your question, yes it has to be a jump cancallable move.
  5. that little video is tight. i like the way that looks. i'll have to work at it a bit more to get it down then. I agree with the tension aspect and when it comes to the final version, infinite tension will deffiniatly be off. I'll see what I can come up with using your combo suggestions.
  6. lol what's worse is a charachter can throw you out of STBT and if you were going for a throw the FRC will still happen even while you're being thrown and completely waste 25% tension. I'm not too sure what one reaction you're talking about (please expand) but you do know STBT has 2 FRC points right? Is what you're talking about only regaurding the 2nd point?
  7. I have to add you need to be careful using the wake up super. I lost a match because I got knocked down in the corner and used the super on wake up. The Potemkin was expecting it and literally flicked it. Cost me the match.
  8. I dunno. After seeing your little vid I put in my old copy of X2 and it worked. (the CL, not the cancel into UF) Doesn't seem to work in AC though. Atleast I couldn't get it to. Maybe I'm inputting it to slow or something.

  10. yea doesn't work. jumping first gives you a normal k-dive. tking on the first half circle back gives you a high tk k-dive and tk on the half circle forward gives you a normal tk k-dive. 4r5, i have no clue what the wonder gears is so you're going to have to expand on your comment. koogy, i'd be glad to have your help.

I do all these combos myself on a standard ps1 pad, I don't have a programable controller or any other useful tools like that so there are a few things I can't really pull off. 1 machine gun chemical love, (i can but not reliably enough) and 2 chemical love cancel into her air overdrive. everything else is pretty much fair game. These being rough drafts were recorded on a cheap borrowed camera so no need to point out the bad quality. The final version is going to be recorded direct from the ps2. So watch my draft and tell me what you like or what you don't like and what I should change or just take out.   13. Oh man, I just did this and I have to tell you it's like night and day. I think it's going to probably ruin the joystick itself but fuck it, it can be replaced. Now I can do my 3rd Strike supers and go back to learning I-No on stick. 662363214+S is sooooooo much easier now. Plus doing 360's is actually possible. Going to have to get me a round gate soon but for now, this really does make things so much better.

  17. HELL YEA, it does!!! but damn I missed out, looks like there was some Fuku matches on that page at one point. which reminds me, anyone have any of Feather's Dizzy matches?
  18. Dizzy gives me alot of trouble. Her mixup can be a pain in the ass. If she's able to get some summons out getting in on her can be a challange. Notes don't work well because by the time you get a Note out she has a fish and a 421+S coming your way, sometimes more. The only thing I-No really has going for her in this match is if she manages to pin Dizzy in the corner with some tension. 50% tension + the corner = 320 damage combo. Dizzy is pretty much capable of dominating the same space I-No is with her double dash so the usual advantage I-No has is irrelevent. Let's not forget that a slashbacked dash in mixup can lead to Necro's Anger or worst, a corner throw. Everything is fairly close to the same rating. I highlighted the matches were there was a major difference. It would be nice if Vegta12 and Honnou would take the time to share how they rate the match ups, I could add them to the above. EDIT: I'd agree the Slayer match is even but Slayer's damage output gives him the edge IMO.

  23. If it comes out the same height than you're not TKing it you're using the JI version. You can do a 360 on a JCable move and depending on your timing of when you input k/s it will determine if it's TK'd or JI'd. You're right SM, you can't TK the HCL off c.S but you can JI and it works just fine. Don't know why I thought you could. 2D works depending on the combo and where you do it at. For instance jK, jS, 5K, c.S, 2H, 2D, HCL works midscreen but in the corner the HCL will wiff.
  24. I put the analog stick on the palm of my hand and rub back and forth as quickly as possible. I also usually have FRC set to L1 so I tap that with a free finger on the other hand that is holding the controller.
