  2. Platinum is underrated and you may get a surprise beating for not knowing her stuff. Big Bubble on hit = big combo in corner you have to space around this projectile. Required. Also, don't growler this fullscreen, the bubble will fly up once it goes a far enough distance. Some Platinums like to "occasionally" play nutty and the character allows you to do this with random Circular. That shit is very easy to get hit by, and in corner, tons of damage. Also she can use fake overheads into low mix ups and those are naked to the human eye when done perfectly. She can also mix you up with grab set ups and float over heads. This is part of the reason why shes underrated. What helps az in this match up is that as LONG as you're aware of her defensive techs then you can kill her in one touch to death situations. She has two of them, the fake platinum doll and the Baseball bat DP which are both very reliable. You have to grab the doll, OR you can hit the doll with 5A and then block the counter hit that comes right after. From my exp her recovery after that looks verryy bad. Her install super is quite gay and will beat your neutral verrryyyyy bad. Her stuff starts to cover the entire screen and her projectiles are upgraded as well. In conclusion, Platinum underrated. Match up is definitely even.

  4. This match up 6-4 Azrael Tager wants to magnetize you and has a number of ways to do it. However your mobility and jump canceled buttons leaves a lot of them desperate for something. The only way Tager should ever win a round against you is if you're magnetized mode. Guess what, just in case he does, just dont jump until your magnetism is gone, then Tager has to do it all over again. This is because his collider will pull you towards him if you jump and it's quite fast too. Very difficult for Tager to put an agile azrael in magnetism, except with Iron fist. That special is ridiculous and can catch you in the air, fullscreen. Also, counter hit iron fists = tons of damage without burst, be wary. You should definitely save bursts for cases like these. You get iron fisted again, you're most likely going to lose the round. 5C into Gustaf and 6C oh and be sure that tager is blocking the 5C and not super armoring it. Do not ever leave this formula, big chance you will be punished. 5b and 5a both jump cancel-able. Not a single reason Tager should ever grab you unless you time your meaties wrong. Also since he has a big hurtbox, at least 70% of your box jump Bs will confirm more easily than on other characters. As soon as Tager is in the corner J.a. All day. If well timed, Tager will eat CH for wake up anti air. You have to make the player know for sure hes not getting out of that corner without 50 meter tech wheel and with shit tons of Azrael health you can afford to eat one per round. If he manages to catch you with Spark bolt which is also 60% of the time useless against you cuz of growler, then you may be losing without burst. Gadget finger situations are "TERRIBLE" for azrael and is go to route for the round loss. 360 Throws after punish the fuck out of your back dash. Also, frame advantage. Be very wary and commit to one of 3 decisions, 5a, Up back barrier, or block the next string, THEN back step.
  5. its an even fight if you're good at moving with Azrael (alot of long jumps) and avoiding anti airs. instant blocking the val tus on the last hit is also kinda important its one of his best ways in also relius is very bad at burst baiting unless he does the harry potter cloak so you can burst him out of corner pressure. only once though.
  6. This is not that good of a match up for Ky. Once Leo starts to make you block say good bye to at least 60% or more of your health. Sometimes its even the round. You know how easy it is for Leo to make you block just one poke? Very easy. You have to excel at spacing and 5C/Stun edge to lame him out, oh but wait, he has a projectile that eats up yours? So free if he makes you jump and thats not what ky wants. Oh sure, there is the split ciel/big stun edge but that takes way too long to come out and once again the point is to never let leo make you block a single thing. As for making the least amount of damage possible when leo gets in? Leo definitely top 3 toughest characters to block its close to impossible. Leo's pressure however does lose to alot of correctly timed IB-vapor thrusts and HOPEfully the Leo isn't trying to cross up too quickly during the string. Sometimes mash throw works as well, it can option select into stand H which somtimes stagger counters Leo. it comes out pretty quickly. Also, knockdown after an air combo that leo does? terrible situation for Ky. Two options: DP or bait HIM into baiting you with his counter shield, and sometimes he'll even choose to hit buttons instead. This isn't even a 50/50 situation, but rather a 2/3 chance that Leo gets another touch. bad match up, pretty much, both characters want to rush down each other, but Leo gets the chance so much more than ky does.
  7. you have to DP his block strings and that only works if hes opting to fafnir or bandit bringer During defense you are usually denied access to DP on wake up Sols will always get Un-dpable oki after the knockdown from viper because of the gunflame right after. Shit like that is definitely what makes him top

LOL but not in obvious spot for you to get 5K'd that shit is mashable and salt inducing also dont let gun flame counter hit u sun. thats alot. also. don't up back to fenrir block strings. also. stun edge = gun flame will cancel each other also. getting out of the corner is kinda hard. also. mix ups into wild throw pretty bullshit. loooooool

  16. Also Merkava is so broken its not even funny. Im barely experienced in the match up and I'm not even sure but I feel like some of Merkavas normals are unblockable. Also. Neutral. Omg. Completely dominates gord because gord has to grim reaper and time it right or he eats a fireball, or "fly in". That fly in is too fast, and even if you block it, Merkava gets free entry. merk also can trick you into jumping or just keep you at bay with those air and ground command throws. If that weren't enough. Wake up reversals and a command grab super as well? Merkava definitely has the best neutral and alot of defensive options in the game imo.

You have to make Hilda whiff her high recovery buttons simple as that. the one big reason why gordeau beats hilda is cuz of Ex mortal slide which is 75% chance you're getting the next mix up. no reversals. only burst out for defense You must also remember that blocked mortal slide situation OTHER than an ex one = punished by hilda. don't use two slides at once or much else for that matter EXCEPT, grim reaper, which could also be unsafe unless you have meter theres some cross up teleport stuff that you can autoblock however you can get mind fucked if you actually attempt to block it and switch your blocking

  20. If you master azrael movement this match up is even. Why? Because when you're too close to Hazama the snake projectiles become shitty. All you have to do it play around anti airs after that, then you play around 50 meter reversal. Also, be careful in the air to good hazamas they will use Barrier block and anti air in the gap for full combo its pretty frustrating but Hazama has some pretty godlike anti air capabilities
