Now that Jin is among the gods with Valk this match up most definitely got harder than b4. Jin has more combo pathways and more damage midscreen now and if that's not already frightening, his projectiles are much faster. It certainly does not help that growler field can launch the projectile back even during the absorb animation however, because good Jin's jump alot during neutral and especially will long jump on us for free sometimes, and what's so BS about Jin's jump game against us is that our anti airs aren't exactly the best tools to counter it. If a Jin knows you're going to attempt to 2C (which is even more unsafe to use now) he will most definitely jump again in the air, fall on you with a button and get an extended combo because we are hit crouching automatically. I'm afraid to say that now that growler has no invulnerability that it's become "much" harder to deal with Jin's pressure that keeps Azrael in check quite alot..especially in the corner. We can't block and then throw it out during pressure. Which means we have to more rely on using back dash in between pressure to escape, and now that backdash has become one of the only defensive options for Azrael, that makes hard reads much more easier for Jin players since they do not ever have to worry about running into a growler. Winning this game now requires "alot" of experience blocking Jin and teching his green throws. As long as we improve on blocking his pressure and adapting to the mix ups, we could trap him in the corner and bait those DP attempts. :D

I just had some GGs with Nineball_Infinte, Lappa and this other pretty beast player Is it safe to assume Nineball_Infinte is the best player on netplay? I just can't think of another Ragna or player for that matter who's pressure so consistent as his that everyone loses to him bcuz of it

Henjin makes a good hazama but there was this other hazama player as well called Blackwing who rapes from what I've seen in my matches against him but he also rage quits so I think that takes points off his skill lmao. There is also another hazama called Ty(numbers) that I can barely beat 2.

There should definitely be a Net play tier list to end this version of BB. BUT there should also be at least two players for every character and not in any order. There really are alot of good players who happen to use the same character lol. I know a player who pretty much mastered half of the cast. Im very surprised he doesn't post on this forum unless he is stealthed lol.

Yeah waking up and doing back dash in the corner and especially mid screen is only a gimmick and is not recommended for good defense. you're better off wakin up and blockin a little of his string THEN back dash for safety alot of ragnas scout out wake up back dash and punish you by running further with 5B its pretty gay

Kagura may be a very bad character but like most characters can catch you with alot of gimmicky shit. And what's worse is that flash kick which is very good in neutral and while he's being pressured. From my exp when most Kaguras flash kick you without it being a CH then you can immediately tech towards him and drop with J.B as long as you commit to the guess that it will hit him. 80% of the time I've tried this I get a free mid screen combo. Edit- This is not viable anymore in extend, kagura will short dp you if you try this. Kagura can command grab you, overhead you, and has a very deceptive low move that makes you think it's the over head when it really isn't. Dragon's mirage also negates ANY wake up growler. Do not wake up growler as defense it will not work against this. Corner combos from this guy really hurt so you need to know what DOESN'T work while you're in it. Growlering the sonic boom he does in neutral is also very good because of gimmicks you can do to throw his advancement off the absorbing invulnerability. I usually just buffer growler again. Don't get too growler happy though because Kagura also has that dragon move that works just as good as Ragna's hells fang if not, better, and will CH you. Knowing your spacing with Kagura during neutral is important. Most Kagura players like to throw out the crouch stab move. this does not work to box jumps, and will end with a huge corner carry combo. That flash kick is harder to punish than other DP/Kicks so you should never try to 3D or 6D to punish..just 3C. Other than being wary of all of the above especially flash kick just play as Azrael usually plays; Kagura has a very tough time with this character.

May wins this match up 6-4. Tiny hurtbox. Completely dominates you in the air. i'd love to see a Ky 2H work on any one of her buttons in the air. Also her neutral rapes ours. All her projectiles/set ups hard to get in on and you know how bad our projectile can be sometimes. However the J.HS works on May, and is just about the only air button that competes with that bullshit anchor. Miradasai son. You gotta block that ish

Zeth's information pretty sums up everything. Do not get cursed or you have a very high chance of losing even if you spam Growlers to absorb the bugs. Arakunes stick to the air so you only have very few chances of countering him with phalanx cannon while he is grounded, trying to summon a bug/cloud, etc. Arakune is free to corner pressure unless he has 50 meter. Do not let any corner pressure go to waste. Some sneaky Arakunes like to tech roll out of your pressure as well so sentinel dumping makes him free-er. Last thing is Arakune's 50 meter gimmick super that instantly curses you that he can use even in the air. Low block it only. Thx Raziul.
