  1. About the air throw knockdown, I somehow didn't think of it before but you could just try doing a meaty with 5K or c.S into a blockstring or air pressure reset. like walk back meaty 5K into 2S2D or jump cancel it to 886 j.KS or something
  2. You can meaty a 2K or a j.D. Could fake that you're trying for a meaty then throw them. Air throw oki is pretty bad. 6H is really obvious to people familiar with the knockdown. You can try to do a jump into 83 j.P into something but if they IB you get grabbed i think.
  3. I think that probably doesn't work. You can do 2 or 3 normals into 236K then combo to c.S 5H(2) into whatever and it's basically the same combo I was doing in the previous version anyway.
  4. Jam is harder than anybody to do a combo from 1H on midscreen
  5. I don't have anything great just a couple normals into 236S knockdown. Really low damage. If you meet the hellfire+50% tension+last round requirements you can get dust to IK midscreen without needing RC.
  6. Some Revelator stuff for the new characters so far. - none of them have a face up wakeup speed as fast as Ky or Venom. Face down wakeup speed is medium - Jack-O has very small crouching hitbox as expected. Problem for airdash strings and 236K oki. - can do B&B with 1H to sj.PPS 236H on Jack-O - can do B&B with 1H to sj.K 3 j.S 236H on Johnny - can do a full j.S loop on Johnny from corner throw - can combo Johnny from 2H with 986 j.PS 236H c.S 5H 236H - Jam is hard to combo midscreen - Burst Helios gains throw invulnerability
  7. His damage is high but it's fine. Unless the other player is doing a lot of DPs or stupid stuff bedman won't land many full c.S punish combos anyway. It will be more active here when more people have Revelator demo. If no one beats me to it I'll post character specific oki stuff and combos for the 3 new chars in the demo.

  14. I've been wondering what kind of mixups will be possible. No command grab and ground throw needs RC to combo from what I've seen. Doesn't seem to have a fast overhead? Maybe you can gatling from first hit of 5H into 2D to mix up with the overhead 2nd hit or something.
  15. I've done it before but generally I recommend not using an RC just to get a mixup. If you got a 236S blocked unexpectedly then RCing to avoid punish is prudent and you might as well do a mixup while you can. Otherwise I don't think it's worth it.

  17. It's not region locked. The problem is that the Japanese version and the English version can't play together on netplay at the moment because the Japanese version has a patch the English version doesn't.
  18. I haven't played in almost a week because it's so dead online. Xseed needs to get that patch up so the online community isn't split up, it was small enough without this problem. The vast majority of the people I've played don't know even simple combos or use vanishing guard.
  19. I found this throw glitch with Homura. It was happening to me in some netplay matches. I wonder if someone with the Japanese version (latest patch) could try it out, I'm curious if this was fixed or not. Happens consistently on Muramasa.

  21. Xseed is working on getting us the patched version. Should be up in a couple weeks. https://twitter.com/XSEEDGames/status/699740687760142336 Dunno if that color DLC has been fixed, I haven't seen anything about it.
  22. Xseed is aware of the issue with the colors they are trying to fix it. Saw them replying to someone on twitter about it. Some on gamefaqs mentioned it too, so I haven't downloaded the color DLC yet.
  23. If I'm not mistaken, didn't you use 4 bars in that last combo so it's actually not possible? It looks like you did two supers then did a Rush, which costs 2 bars. Try setting the bar on "set to full" instead of "always full" so you can see how much you're using.
