  3. so like, is it dash while 5h is being done, or after its finished and just be fast about it? cant really find a good explanation on the concept which is probably why im having such trouble same trouble i had with TK'ing shit at first... just cuz it took me forever to find an explanation of how to TK shit in general lol i just aint sure when to put the dash in
  4. question i was testing shit on ky 2s - 5h frc - L3 horse connects i can get a close 5s, but is there a better option? the damage wasnt spectacular for 35% tension but it seems like one of those things if i dash after the horse, then do a move it could be chained longer but i suck as move - dash - move (i live without twin 5h frc in my combos lol) any options?
  5. input form a robo player: robo dash: easily avoided via backdash if he does it at the same time he would do on other characters... if he late times it to try and beat your backdash, you can usually punish before it goes active 2hs as a antiair goes on 1 angle, its not the easiest thing to hit for good anti air if you iad in, but 6p might cover that instead... but you wanna go high on a jump in, 2hs is a set angle.. and its not the hardest thing to avoid, especially if you try to air-dash as a cross up or just to get in melee range.... the activation isnt lightning quick and its hard to do it on reaction
  6. mm hmm just some styles work better in general rushdown sol vs defensive 'wait for a combo chance' sol for example rushdown works... but its harder to do, ya know?
  7. i get a lot of gold burst just find myself lobbing L3 missiles x2 -> L3 horse -> 5h frc c-c-c-c-c-combo if it lands and having some super for reversal SRK edit: ive been watchin a lot of KK1 and Dogura videos, and as much as dogura impresses me, im noticing i do a lot more shit thats alike KK1 (not as good as he does mind you lolz).... should i just keep up with that or work to rectify the situation? i aint nearly as flashy, but they play differently and i dont wanna learn shit that leads to a less potent way of playing im sure yall gonna say just play how you play... but dogura just seems more solid, wondering what yall think about tryin to adjust before i fall tooooo into my ways ya knows?
  8. well if your in 80% heat and you jh, what would happen? im in it often, its neat to find out new/different things even if theres not the best possible... looking different might throw off a block or something, dont take my discovery away from me >< and forget it storm! i like lightin shit on fire, its a fun way to play the robot
  9. dammmmmmn it im sorry guys i betray you, at least i betrayed stormlocke ... i find myself not using much det mode anymores no 80% heat in det mode... no goods, this is upsetting me.... forgiveness please! ^_^

(my faust exp is kinda limited but i found a few things that work alright) openers: 2hs hits if they jump and throw a bomb-bag, if they air-dash back to avoid it it whiffs but you have time to recover... 6p works pretty good too, jumping options arent horrid due to his height punishes: 2hs punishes the FB chop like crazy if you have a feeling about it, a early robo dash hits the throwing shit in the air super about half way thru if not further... can be used with 5h frc follow to avoid most if not all the objects counters: door-spams (backward or the aerial drop one) a jump backward (holding block) gives you time to air missile/j.s/2k 2s (sometimes) so do a jump backwards on reaction (the front door seems to be less used, i think it would dodge the front too but unsure atm) strategy: i actually try to keep pressure on, being up close can work well if you dont try to rely on 5p (5k combos work well) i found staying high heat actually is a big help, the extra stun from the heat can control a LOT of the match and his defense isnt exactly frightening... which is good just dont be predictable, missiles are a great way to get the last little bit of health... horse works decently well... having the 2hs frc down is a big step forward just knowing what his tricks look like and visually seeing meteors coming help a ton in all honesty, so if you dont know the matchup, training mode him and learn his basic moves... so you arent confused and if he lands a flower flower - going my way combo, you can sometimes tech out... its easy to slashback if this happens... give it a try imo ^_^

  12. ya, orb to stop mid-air!! wooo!! nah i use j.d now when im being serious.. but MAN i love the orb move its my fav anji move, easily.... TK that shit all day, or fuckin around and see how many you can get off 1 jump, or see if i can clash vv with it more then 4 times in a row (the current record) its totally neat, just it kinda totally isnt as good as my playstyle reflects lol... but hey, TK = neat overhead oki.... butterfly - crouch to give em a fakeout of a 2d, then TK that shit all day its not ...horrible... at least o, btw tiamat you next post will be number 1337... make it fuckin epic (checked your profile to find out your local, i love doin anji anji mirror.... ^_^ just was curious)
  13. does anyone know realistically the frame window on j.s autoguard? it sounds interesting... and baiting a vv into a autoguard reserval sounds fuckin SWEET, just for gimmicks though... not for serials lol also, i know its a bad move... but is trying for autoguard with 6h ever a good idea? even if i got the tension to RC it for safety? i know some some moves it aint bad if the startup is slow and/or noticeable but i was curious on the consensus i lovers the 19 frame window it has, i wanna throw it into my game... cuz timing 6k instead for the safety aspect can suck a fat one (i learned the frc point either way... nag nag nag) - - - - discussion thread? hmmm well im doin more 2d 236s on combos now... and its helpin my mixup a ton, since if i aint using his lows.. im using his overheads i sneak that 3p in there pr-et-ty stealth hehe and i have been known to drop a orb or two ^_^ or 4... or 7... or... SHUT UP I HAVE A PROBLEM OKAY?!?! but can you blame me ? how funny is it when you orb, and orb again to avoid jams puffballs likes mad? or perhaps a overdrive i rather not eat (ie: slayer superman bullshit super hehe) anjis too fun... ill never be able to not do the fun things

  15. okay im workin on some new combos but i need to know realistically for 25% tension, whats a respectable amount of damage on a AVERAGE dmg average weight char? best i found thats im tryin to make on my own (corner, on sol) 5k 2s 2d 236s-d (catches em in air from sweep's fall, they slide) 6p ON! (155 dmg) can i expect much higher? (edit, just noticed is is similar to the combos listed in tiamats guide... just was looking for something different, lil easier execution and a new combo to throw in alwasy good things to have) --- side side question --- 2d 236s, it does slide on hit if you get em while they are still falling... and you ever MEATY the p (236s-p) and if you can, good idea or no?

  17. im gettin into anji, learning autoguard frames and what normals to use when... but me + comboing isnt the strongest thing for me ever any chance of some decent BnB combos being added to this? especially a lil clarification of some things you mention, like fuujin loop i personally can learn better from reading then videos so id lovers you if ya could hook me up ^_^ good explanation of the normals though ^_^ this guide is the piece of garnish on anji's combo sandwich kekeke

  20. i can TK the FB after givin it a few goes, STILL cant TK missiles more then once every so often why is the timing for it so hard? i can even get the FB sigh.... i dont get it, i TK all day long with anji or testament or anything i can tk for the shits + giggles of it all DAMN YOU MISSILES lol sorry, was building up some level 3 pissed off, needed to 6H it hehe

  22. jctl29 you can JC into stun edge before 5h would hit? cuz if your in the air and i hit that i would love you ^_^ you seem to know... i dont play many ky's... so i trust ya ^_^ shib the 2s whiffs? dunno what to tell ya from there... i live on high heat (points to sig) so id prob just try steam myself what about 2k into a backdash? then react off what he does from there, like 6p if he approachs or 2d mat if he backs up a lil bit or something? (at work atm, so just theory-crafting atm... ill have time to find better answer later in the week if you still need)

L2/L3 steam would prob work, but i think you can 2k under it... dont take my word for it his 2d? just try to block a lil more, then maybe 5h frc after you block his 2d... i think his 2d gives you advantage on block? (its -10 for him, 5h is 5 frame execution... you prob a good amount of options actually)
