  1. ya that was my issue with it too... i gold burst a whole lot.. so if i landed myself free 100% tension, i probably used my burst to get it.... therefore, no burst to burn for it but then again... just the regular punch spam -> det explosion is pretty sweet... doin it twice is nice, but not that needed :D you know? if that situation ever came up in a real fight, ill probably go explosion -> burst cancel -> robo dash -> back up a smidge -> L3 missiles as oki -> try to connect L3 horsey 1 rep of det mode/punchspam/explosion and 1 rep of a good air combo off L3 horse = a fuckton of damage shrugs, thats just me though
  2. i want ps2 release now played it a lil at c3, and despite them moving my lilica 6c/3c, i liked the hell out of it loli with guns was fun to watch, forget da name but man that shit was funny
  3. ummm i dont got much for mixup, but i like steam frc -> dust or 2s, seems to work decently well ima trash bot lols

You can AG the Robo's 5K Oki (though the Robo I'm playing doesn't seem to want to use 5K... which I thought was a really good option for him, oh well). 5p is the good option, 5k isnt but it hits low.... can still ag the 5p just saying which you should look for Autoguarding Robo-dash works, which takes away their ability for Robo-dash to go through "anything". risky, easier to block/dodge... dash has lots of tricks to it (frc, dashbrake, activating at diff times) TK-orb on Oki can be hit by his 4H if you successfully baited a throw attempt. (theory theory) if blocked its probably combo bait, Level 3 horse - 5h frc - whatever air bullshit combo... that just doesnt sound safe unless you think its gonna connect as overhead
  7. well, i chose lilica to start cuz well... shes almost wearing pants if you added guys, id be using guys... since guys = pants AH needs more pants, kamui isnt my cup of tea lol

  9. wasnt sure if warrant > command grab... didnt wanna throw out the bad infos but thats my personal move of choice ^_^ shits tricky, so is dash-brake 6p/2s for a knockdown, or a 5d, or many of my fun stuffs :D
  10. dash-brake or it's frc point (right fuckin quick after he starts to learn forward for it, like a few frames) might make it a little harder to place when to do it.... be sure its a dash and not a fake-out i believe you can warrant TK robo-missiles with some success (especially if its lobbed in 2/3 rep sets) since he would either be in the air or just landing, if just to dodge them at least

  14. i need to learn how to time my DAA on eddie... if i waste 50% tension just to fancy-5h lil eddie one more time... GARR!! >< reading matchup threads and getting rdy for the may c3.... but im worried about a few characters lets hope i can pull something together (or hope they dont have robo experience <3) DAA is big main game shit to me, but is there any characters i should avoid using it with? besides eddie until i learn how to do it better?

  18. faust is like axl, his scalpel count as hit-box... you can do the same to axl's chains ill try out that advice too though excited to test combo variants way way later tonight or tomorrow

  21. i think cvs2 is the most balanced guilty gear, as long as everyone agrees no sagat and only A grooves lols probably AC though, theres only the rare rare matchup that feels too uphill to not switch characters.... any character can win vs anyone, and everyone is broken... its just how broken is your character in relation to the others? lol, this game i gotta say has done a tremendous job keeping everyone viable, and they deserve a slow clap for that :D
  22. thanks m.song for that throw combo, ill let you know how i vary that.... i think i can suck out a little more damage (and less heat hopefully... that j.h would make me pop usually lol)
  23. - i want to have something for the throw frc, in case i need for closing a fight... i'm aware dumping tension for it isnt a good move, but if itll kill... id like to have all my options avail, you know? - will do on the 2s, and you guys wont hear the end of it when i finally fuckin get it :D - i use 2h a little too much id say, i really want to have it to make it a safer AA... not so much for mixup shenanagins and such... but ill def keep those in mind on that note, can you do 2k 2hFRC 5p command throw? or too impossible? im working on tick throws and that seems like a neat setup (although i need to get the regular thing down first... but i like having more theory then i can use lol, so knowledge is power!)
  24. less then 2 weeks until ECC, any other robots gonna be hittin that shit up? i got myself a laundry list of shit that needs to be done, primary.. -think of a good combo off of frc'd throws -watch match videos for the 7 characters i have no exp against -learn how to go ground-to-air off of 2s, at least more consistantly then i do right now -master 2h frc wish me luck.. ill need it, especially for the 2s->bnb air combo im no good at doin those
