Yeah, suggested items are a joke. The AP ratios are all posted on the forums. General rule of thumb though is that casters have a .7-.8 on their skills, .3-4 on ults, while non-casters tend to 1.0 (except mord and a couple others) You rarely want to buy a stone on any hero, just because other early game items like brutalizer are just so game-altering. If you're having a strong farm mid with Ashe/MF and don't get more than 1 level of hawkshot before 13, a 8 minute BF sword going to an IE will pretty much end the game if your team is paying attn. Only +gold/min chars are critplank and tryndamere, and you still don't wanna get more than 2x avarice because it'll slow your gank gold. I actually quit LoL weeks ago because even after hitting top 500 ELO rank, you still can't avoid being queued with random people who have no intention of even trying to win :/ You can think you've finally gotten out of matchmaking hell, then Riot bends you over and queues you up with duo queues whose only intention to sit at fountain and recite poetry in all chat =/

Imo don't use ghost throw at all, except for oki. When I played Chipp, I'd just air alpha/teleport as soon as I saw a ghost throw, and without Zappa frcing it punishes pretty easily =P Jumping around like a jackass and doing j.Hs explosions should hit far more often

So I was playing my Zappa vs my area's only Venom for the first time the other day, and got really frustratingly owned. -6p lost consistantly to his (6HS?) down-swiping pool-cue attack unless it was timed just right. -his normals beat f.s pretty easily -Keep-away with ghosts was such a BAD idea -Dog kept dying on me, and it seemed about 50-50 whether I'd also get hit, or I'd be able to run in and combo into a fresh summon. On the other hand, once I managed to get him locked down with sword pressure it was pretty okay, and Raou's great as long as you don't fuck up the superjump over dark angel x2 :P What do you do w/o sword/raou though?
