Getting in really depends on the matchup, I don't think I can give a general advice on that, sadly. You really just have to play the spacing game and stay out of their range, wait for them to fuck up and dash in. If it's a specific matchup I'll try to help more, go ahead and post in the matchup threads.

So who here would actually be interested in playing Guilty Gear if the character forums were updated to be closer to the Blazblue character forums level of organization, and I brought up GG more often to not only play in the tournament but also offer training sessions and advice sessions for basics? Yeah it's not like being bad at games kept you from entering Blazblue. :3 Nah I kid, I'm hoping that generating hype will make you guys play this more than just at ranbats whenever I show up. I mean I'm willing to help anyone wanting to learn Guilty Gear and point them in the right direction to get advice. If I could show up to casuals sometime that'd be perfect, but alas I just don't have the schedule for it.

I'll definitely try if it gets more people playing Guilty. This weekend I'm gonna be busy down in Cincinnati though, I'm hoping to bring that hype to Arcade Legacy's grand opening and hopefully we can spark some life back into this game down there.

I don't even care if there's no rebalancing; just knowing there's going to be a push to revive Guilty Gear is enough to make me hype. Hopefully this opens the door for a console port, of course. Great news!
