  1. There are two Mitsurugis. One is French, I think, and the other is the Japanese Mitsurugi. The Japanese one is competing to get in SBO, and his 35 win streak was at an arcade before the SBO qualifier. All this is from Elvenshadow's blog: elvenshadowmike.blogspot.com I asked Elvenshadow about vids of Mitsurugi, but he doesn't know of any either. I don't play Zappa, but I'd like to see how he is beasting everybody.
  2. I have a question on grabbing. If someone dashes in at you while your standing or blocking, do they have the first grab chance? I'm playing Faust vs Baiken. Baiken is putting pressure on, so when I'm not expecting it she'll dash in and grab, tick throw. If I follow the pattern or predict it, can I grab before she can? Thank you.
  3. Good one Mac, the person who plays Slayer. Lol.
  4. Lol. You're on now too.

  5. I wouldn't pick a counter character. From what I've experienced, if you have the skill you can win. It may take a lot more effort and practice, but it is possible. Look at any Johnny player. He's usually considered the worst character in the game, yet it is still possible. And when you do win, it looks damn good.
  6. 29 songs unless I counted wrong, but it should be 30-ish.

  7. What up? I got the Blazblue Original Soundtrack, if you want to put it on your PSP.

  8. I have a pretty epic Omito Vs. RF(Fa) video on my PC that Omito wins. They double-ko on the third round and go into a fourth. The fourth is close, but Omito pulls through with TK ensenga for the win. Sorry I can't link the video. My friend download a bunch of Faust videos for me and put them on a disc. I know it was from A-cho though.
  9. I fucking love you too man.

  10. Hi Tony! I'm on too. Lol.

  11. See Justin, Blipples, you weren't doing anything wrong with the dog. There just are no combos. Lol. And we saw that crouching combo on that one video we watched because it took you awhile to realize how it was connecting: they have to be crouching. I don't remember the video though. I'm sure you know the one. Lol.
  12. Thank you! Yes, I meant chain that pulls you in. I usually run in and instant block the mats if I can predict it. I'll have to try 5k and 6p. I knew you could crawl (3) under the chain, but I haven't tried it much. Do it and then follow with a f.S and item throw. Plus, I completely forgot that FD pushes them back. Thanks! I'll probably play him again tonight, so I'll see how it goes. I'll watch the video when I get home.
  13. Okay, well I just got done playing with my brother some more. I really wish I had a way to record my matches, so I could post them here. I'd also like to play a Baiken that could help me learn the match-up. My brother can't really explain how to fight Baiken or what he's doing. Eh~ This round of matches I won 9 out of 19, so that's not too good considering I had a 7 win streak posted last time. I can't stuff her grapple at all. I'm usually too far away so I whiff, and then he gets the grapple, which is brutal. In the corner, I can't get stuck because he repeats the grapple and throws tatami mats so I can't jump out. I can't seem to get in a poke. However, I have gotten my BNB down a lot better, and I pulled off some good combos. I can do a good dust combo now that won the match for me a few times. I sometimes mess up my combos midway, but that just requires more practice. I tend to get hit by the counters a lot. I keep trying to do pressure stings, which is a big no-no. If I catch myself before it's too late, I rush in and do mettakiri (sp?). I can barely get off an aerial grab: Baiken beats out Faust in the air, always. 6P can sometimes pull through for me. I need to learn the faultless defense canceling HS to keep her away. I know it doesn't work if she is moving in too. Another one of my biggest issues is blocking. I'm just terrible at it, well decent, but not good enough. All my brother does is throw the chain and pull you and then either do a sweep or a dust, but I can not block it, and it's so frustrating because it's a very simple mix-up. [rant] I guess I don't like losing too my brother who doesn't seem like he's put nearly as much into it, and he still beats me, but that's a personal issue. [end rant]
  14. @Senkei Yeah, I agree. I just hadn't seen it posted, so I figured I'd say something. I think it's good to know as much as possible even if it's not used frequently. =] If you could guarantee a kill with it, it could determine the match for you, possibly. I'm a scrub.
  15. @Wirya Yeah, I think you have it right. My jump cancels are terrible, so I tend to just tap up constantly and pray it works. I just saw it in a video recently too, but they didn't use the 2S. Also, you might be able to do the super jump install combo with it, since it starts with [2S, 5K], but I haven't tried it. I haven't tried the super jump install combo at all really. I'm just now getting to be able to do most of Faust's aerial combos. Just a thought though.
  16. I'm not sure it this works on all characters or only light. I've done it in a match on Baiken, and I've tested it on Zappa. Grab > RC > 2S > 5K > JC > J.K > JC > J.K > JC > J.S > J.HS It takes a 60-ish damage grab to 120-ish damage.
  17. Hey guys. Any tips on fighting Baiken? My brother used to play a lot and now he's getting back into. Sadly, his Baiken has been crushing me. I read the Zinac's post on the first page, and I've scoured this thread for more info, but I don't see much for Baiken other than staying as far away as possible or at least 5.S away. Any thing behind that you guys know who fight her more often? It seems that I have to stick to very simple tactics. It's sad because I learned all these nice BNB combos and aerial combos that I don't even get to use. Lol.
