Winter Brawl eh? Alright, as I am housesitting next weekend, so I probably won't be able to make winter brawl. Still, I shall be around.

Great to be here! and I can't say I have played Arcana Heart 3. I shall need to look into it indeed! At any rate, I am usually free on Fridays and Saturdays and Monday evenings (and later on thursdays, Like after 8pm). I can try to plan out events on other days as long as I have about a month in advance so I can work around,well, work. Also, I am open for games this weekend. Just let me know when and where and I'll be there with a setup. Also, props to the power of stick magic Tigre. Having tried and worked on things like that in the past, I know how difficult it can be (at least it was for me). The PS4/XB1 authentication crap only made it that much more difficult. I'm just happy I got my hands on one of these for my PS4. made my life a whole lot simpler.

Even though I live in NJ, I am very interested in getting face to face matches. Since I seem to live pretty close to the venue in the starter post, I figure I would throw my information in the thread... Other Games: None as of late, but looking into other games to get into. Extra notes: An elusive bedman player willing to commute! My current computer isn't quite good enough to use it, so hence why I mentioned we would need a comp. Also, I have the PS4 version of GGXrd as part of my setup (PS4, 1 PS4 stick TE2, and an HD TV)

I will get in on this, since I've been dying to get some face to face matches. I can also bring a setup (TV and Console), along with something I bought to record...before I realized that my current comp wasn't quite powerful enough to put it to use. If we need an HD recorder I can provide that, but we will need a comp that is capable of running it. (for the record, this is what I got in case you need to know what it is in advance). At any rate, I'll be there.

damn. nice J.D into 6C setup at the beginning of the video. Yeah, Litchi is one of the few charicters that makes arakune have to be very careful about jumping around carelessly from my experience. J.C and Tsubame both can really quickly pluck you out of the air, and a J.C counterhit leads to significant pain. Not bad, though. definitely better then earlier ones. try not to throw as much out of tick throw setups though: broken throws = lost curses. I saw at the end of the 1st round that the litchi failed to break a purple throw, which offline is very, very breakable, and could have been bad as Litchi has the advanatage as long as she isn't cursed (again, in my opinion). Still hoping I can get a few offline rounds against my friend (who plays haku-men) soon...

EDIT:....nevermind, video editing and trying to get said videos up on youtube is giving me a headache, ill have to try again later finally found the right software, but editing is trickier then I thought. or, even better, when my friend comes to play a few matches, ill just record them and throw em up on youtube. wish me luck. (though It might be a few more days before I get another chance to play someone in person...)

I would vote for teams first. Ill try to avoid listing my reason to save headaches Anyhow... Alright, Ill get right on that. Just tested my recording stuff, and its really good. hopefully Ill be able to help with my HD setup.

Okay, quick update: got the recorder working, now im editing to make a "sample" video to show the quality (which is quite good IMO) of a few simple arakune combos. Need to find a good video editor then I should be set! ...any advice on some good, free video editors? Random note: yeah, I played JJBA on the dreamcast...sadly, the PSX version was only okay: they took out a LOT of the combos and links for the entire cast in it. was still playable though. and thanks for the compliment on my avie, I take pride in it.

Im getting a PVR HD recorder for my TV soon, so I should be able to record some matches of mine. I can't upload online matches because, well, I flat out suck online Still, expect to see some nice HD matches within the next week or so.

Magnet (NJ) here, signing up for BB. Also, there is a high probably Ill be bringing an HD setup with HD recording capabilities for BB and possibly other games. Not set in stone yet, though I should have confirmation within the next week if I can bring the recording stuff.

Yeah the reason why you may be having trouble is J.D, when done high in the air is punishable all the way to the ground, and it hurts getting punished from a wiff J.D. anyhow, here's the basic breakdown from my perspective: -Too much J.D and 2D usage without cover. -Lack of cloud usage made many attempts to run away unsafe and many of those already unsafe J.Ds even more unsafe. -using 2c outside of combos is really unsafe. -like skye said, Practice those combos! random bugs will only go so far. practice controlling the bugs and the J.D (if you plan on using it). learn how to set up and react to clouds you throw out. I know it sounds simple, but practice makes perfect. Ill try to think up some constructive match breakdown in a bit.
