Well there are alot of obstacles it has to overcome (it already has a small fanbase thanks to First Impression), some of which Frontier Aja need to address (like the constant and random patching) but mostly it would need to get shown off and played more, which can pretty much be done by anyone, however another major issue is it's a PC only game, that makes running it competitively at big events a hassle (and thus more community dedication) If Frontier Aja were serious about making it into something big like that they'd have to rework their entire strategy and most likely either A. out source or B. pour tons of money and effort into the next entry.

Ok translated some details: Teddie tosses items, has lots of comical attacks Naoto has fast moving projectiles and can obviously attack from a range, her Persona can be used to divert attention, launch the opponent, as well as setting off traps and causing bad status effects (you can seal the opponent's Persona use). NOTE: I'm not sure if I'm reading/understanding this right BUT it seems the Death counter acts just like in game and under certain conditions will cause instant Death. That or it just causes SEVERE damage. Rise further confirmed as JUST an announcer. The "Navigation" option at the character select screen turns on/off Rise's comments on your actions.

I think it's more because she has the most unique moveset in the game that's extremely un-Soul Calibur-ish, personally I'm more interested in how Z.W.E.I works, but even more so LEIXIA!!! Watching this makes the wait for January that much longer.

Like I said give me Valeria with Grieve Edge (or a new female character with Grieve Edge) and I'll be at a new level of happiness with this game. Also I wouldn't mind another katana profession, rather than wishing for a good female samurai I've accepted I'll probably have to make my own, but Yoshimitsu, Mitsurugi, and Setsuka's styles don't click 100% with what I want. Here's hoping~

Well clothing damage is still in and much like in IV it seems to be rather restrictive to main cast characters (in a good way) let's hope this also applies to CAS characters. Also since the interview mentions surprises and unexpected characters I would LOVE to see ANY of the "mangaka" characters from IV return, also I would like to see Luna, Abelia, and Valeria return from III. I wonder if we'll see anything similar to Chronicle mode, I wouldn't mind a revamped version, it was fun.

Create-A-Soul sounds awesome + w+ Still sad it seems they've all but ditched "original" styles from 3, but maybe a character will be revealed with a homage to one of the more unorthodox styles.
