  1. F U, DoA 4's true ending was legit, and so were several other character's (put it did piss me off when key characters got stupid endings...) And they're trying to improve their image and quality, so I have high hopes, especially considering how much better Ninja Gaiden 3 looks compared to Itagaki age entries in the series.

Good at breaking down guards because of his rate of attack, it's also hard to interrupt his actions if he gets a good rhythm going, also his poke game is amazing(ly annoying), his range in general is really good, and he's still got a few tricks for high/low mixup (the flexible bastard). Of course his biggest flaw is predictability so you have to work hard to keep it fresh on higher skill or highly adaptive players, also since his best moves are verticals, he's a bit weak to sidesteps so ya need to be careful.
  4. So the arcade ver of XIII is getting an update, but it just might be to make it the same as the console.

SC = SCII = SCV > SCIII > SCIV III was good [quit hating], but the Arcade ver was better [for the gameplay improvements and balance], IV was the only "meh" SC IMO, and V honestly feels like it's own league within the series. V may be light on content but it makes up with vastly improved gameplay and the best online system of any fighting game to date. Legendary Souls serves no purpose other than to provide a challenge, all CaS parts are unlocked by simply leveling up.
  7. GIs are far from useless, and until one gets good at Just Guards they can be pretty awesome tools. Many characters have a several moves with GI properties (which when used don't spend meter) and some of these can come in handy. A GI staggers your opponent and leaves them open to an offensive, however keep in mind that your opponent can re-GI, so doing raw GIs can be a gamble, but unless the opponent is fast to react or knows the matchup well they usually don't anticipate re-GIing a move that has GI properties so another helpful tool, especially since some moves even mask the GI spark (like Leixia's Winged Rhythm Brave Edge).

  11. Well there's honestly not much to go on, it wasn't a big announcement (yet) and all you can find is a small image of 2 people playing the game, but yeah it's coming. I should label and compile my latest uploads = w=
  12. If Amy is in this game it will probably be just like the "hidden" characters in IV, where it's just a CaS made to strongly resemble them rather than a real playable character. Anyways, strategy guide preview~

  14. Talim is not in this game in any way, shape, or form. SCV was almost a new IP rather than a sequel, thus the whole "new generation" angle they're trying to play, but this current arc is planned as a trilogy (they've said they have plans for up to SC7, just a matter of sales) so you never know.   20. It only works against frontal projectiles, like 410's Meta and her specials that loop behind will still connect and you will lose your shield (unless you are using Shield EX). Also only Shield EX is restricted by time, Shield doesn't go away unless you re-input it or get hit.

  23. . . . It is all online... It was just a small launch party event, it was just a small invitational only (well for the tourney) so what you see is what you get, but it's pretty legit stuff, made me excited to get my actual hands on the game >.<
