Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)

Well... Azrael is the sort of villain who has only one possible end, getting himself killed by the very thing he aimed to fight against, he simply won't stop until finding a predator stronger than himself. Not that it's a bad thing though, even if we can reasonably guess that he will end up eaten by the Black Beast while giving it massive internal injuries, we can still enjoy the ride regardless of the destination. -

Well... Nine needs a serious beatdown, plain and simple. As long as she doesn't get those insane plans of her wrecked in her face she won't realize how Terumi levels of fuckwadery she has fallen. -

Well... Buy the DLC.... Buy the DLC! Why sell a complete game from the start if you can have people burn more money on a few adicional essentials, isn't that right Kokonoe? -

Well... I expect Ragna to become the guardian of the Master Unit and pass up the torch to Naoto. I also expect that someone else more sane and selfless will take Amaterasus driver's seat, my bets are on Celica since she is actually a dying time clone of the original one and she is just too chill with bad shit happening to intervene on reality. That and I want her to flip the bird to Nine for acting like psycho lesbian siscon. Seriously, trying too kill your own daughter out of love for your sister puts you on an even worse league than Carl on my shitlist. -

Well... I think this is all because Izanami was created to fill the role of a traditional villain while her creator suffers a suicidal breakdown. Remember that Izanami is a byproduct of the emotions from whoever is inside the Master Unit and since part of the girl writing the book pretty much wants to be punished and killed for repeating all those tragedies with no solution, it's likely that Izanami is driven to make her creator kill herself for good and end everything once and for all. -

Well... You missed the part were I said "let's call her Saya Kisaragi for convenience", it's just that comparing Saya Terumi to Saya nosurname is a tad confusing. -

Well... Blood related or not, having so many family members out for your crotch outside a h-game would drive any anime character insane. Maybe Ragna just wants to die a virgin to spare any possible offspring from dealing with such unwanted harem. Seriously though, if Ragna ever decides to get cozy before kicking the bucket it better be Rachel because everything else is just too awkward. I know I said I like his relationship with Celica but I see them on complete celibate terms and since her focus shifted to saving ElsaNine from her siscon outburst of world destruction I don't see romance blooming past platonic admiration and mutual support. Also, don't worry about Ragna getting more unwanted girls in his harem, that gag reel spoiler showed Ragna with the Spectacle of Aphrodite dragging all the man to him. -

Well... Noel's blackouts and memories of Saya's childhood are because Mu-12 is a clone of Saya with pieces of her soul. To put it bluntly, Noel is a clusterfuck of people inside one with a goddess, a killer robot and an ambigous brocon taking up the wheel at different points. -

Well... To be honest, the girl from the story does see herself as a monster. However, I don't see her as evil, just realistically human. A wise man named Stan Lee said that great power brings great responsability. However, when you just one day wakes up in the middle of eldritch darkness inside a giant satellite with godlike powers it's hard to blame you for abusing such power and screwing up royally. OPFD is just not fit for godhood and she never wanted it in the first place so the more sane characters like Amane, Kagura and Kokonoe figured out they need to replace the driver of Amaterasu with someone ready to be Spiderman. -

Well... I think this transference process is something slow and gradual which is evidenced by Izanami taking a long time sleeping before taking over Saya. In my view, before CT, OPFD was taking Mu's body for a test drive because she displayed the kind of life (happy family with friends) which OPFD wanted for so long. When the time loop broke, OPFD bought the car for real and started driving it but still left a piece of herself back home not to fuck everything up. Only at the end of CP did the OPFD said "FUCK THIS CRAZY SHIT! I am Noel Vermillion and none of this is happening!". And thus we got into the current situation. -

Well... By Noel I already mean the OPFD and being on a different body doesn't mean much in this series since Nine and Terumi both displayed full power despite being inside homunculus made by Relius. Rachel said that the only thing which can kill Izanami is life itself and getting returned into just the drive of a living being fits the criteria to me. -

Well... Bruh, are you forgetting that Mu-12 is the freaking Godslayer? I mean, if there is one thing which could kill a being which emulates a goddess of death is something made to kill gods in the first place. Maybe zombie Izanami is actually the result of being hit by Mu's power and breaking down before Noel absorbs her. Since Izanami is Noel's drive, it would make sense for her to return to a natural mindless state were the former just suppresses her urge to kill. -

Well... Saya doesn't need an exorcism so much as she needs a new body like the one Nine got. Maybe this where Mu comes to play, she will kill Izanami but rather than fusing back with Noel she will fuse with Saya to restore her body. Since Mu is a clone of Saya there shouldn't be any compatibility issues. PS: Still haunted by toughts of puppet Makoto. -

1337 H@x0r replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Well... I get it from the fact Ragna did not become the huge ass eight-headed dragon which tore the world apart, he became a humanoid and weaker beast but who was still strong enough to bring a lot of devastation. Humanity being stronger and more prepared my ass, they lacked 3 of the Six Heroes while the other 3 were nerfed and this not to mention Terumi and Relius controlled the only organized world powers which would hardly cooperate to stop the Black Beast like humanity did during the Dark War. You can call it another Dark War but the being which caused the first was observably stronger than the one which caused a potential second. As for Jin and Saya, Relius experimented on them and that man can do the impossible just to satiate his own curiosity. Jin becoming the vessel for the Power of Order is a unique event, there are no known other characters both past and present which came to fully embody it like he did. Makoto and Tsubaki shows a little of that power and it can manifest into crystal form under certain circumstances but nothing comes remotely close to what Jin is capable of. He might not have planned for it and it could have been a freak success but Relius experiments certainly factor in how Jin came to display his unique powers. I joked about Ragna being created to be Terumi's vessel but given that Jubei rescued the trio before Relius finished his modifications it would surprise me if Ragna was to Hazama what "Noel" was to Nu, an artificial being which aquired a soul and personality completely different than intended due to interruptions in it's creation. Let me also remind you that Relius has the knowledge to create a freaking new master unit and unlike Terumi who relies too much on save scumming, he actually arranged his plans with Xanatho's levels of antecipation. Relius didn't gain the knowledge from 70.000+ loops, he just put information together in whichever timeline he was in and quickly devised a strategy to reach his goals from sheer intelect alone. Do not underestimate Relius in the foresight department, if CF shows anything is that even when completely ruined he can rethink his strategy and return like a phoenix to the top of the chess game. -

Well... I'd like to point out that Ragna did not become a full Black Beast in his CS Bad Ending, he became a semi-Black Beast like Arakune but on a whole different level thanks to his Azure Grimoire. Remember that the real Black Beast exists in the deeps of the boundary and that the one we see characters turn into is actually a manifestation of the damn thing, it's similar to how Hakumen manifests his body at different levels depending of the power used to summon him. When Touya turns into the Black Beast, it's so weak that a single strong fighter like Es or Sechs can kill it, however, when Nu and Ragna fuse into one it's so powerful that all the world armed with Ars Magus is necessary to defeat it. What Ragna turns into in his CS Bad Ending is something in between. It still wipes out a significant portion of the world but it takes only a weakened Hakumen, a crippled Jubei and Noel instead of the fully powered Six Heroes to bring an end to it's rampage. In regards to Ragna being a male PFD, I don't think it's the case. PFDs or Murakumo Units were designed to survive interaction with the boundary yet Ragna had to be shielded by Tsukuyomi when crossing it towards the past. Him being an artificial human is high likely though, given that Saya was modified to be Izanami's vessel and that Jin was modified to be SEIGI's vessel, I wouldn't be surprised if Relius mixed up their genes (squick) to create an artificial human meant to be Terumi's vessel. Considering that Ragna's original hatred for him was strong enough to keep the bastard alive without a body, it's plausible that he, ironically, had been conceived with such purpose in mind. -

Well... I didn't say that Hazama planned to hijack the Master Unit, I said that he planned to hijack Kusanagi to fuse with her and become a god in his own right. Kusanagi was created specifically to destroy gods, it is a power which supposedly can cut through even Tsukuyomi and utterly destroy the master unit so I'd say Hazama would be very interested in gaining such power. Nu fusing with Take-Mikazuchi was just meant to ease control, since she was the actual brain in control of the Black Beast she would do fine controlling a being similar to it. Besides, TM doesn't have an Azure Grimoire which is the power core of the entire fusion to begin with. No one knows what fusing Kusanagi with a complete Azure Grimoire would result in, however, since we know that a fusion of their incomplete versions results in a world ending abomination we can assume that fusing the complete deal could result in something even stronger. As for Nine, she is batshit insane at this point, if Hazama wants to blow up Amaterasu and become a god she wouldn't care as long as her vengeance gets fulfilled and Celica is put on an adamantium bubble were nothing can possibly harm her. -

Talking about the Four Horseman, it would me more appropriate to label Izanami as Death (duh!), Terumi as Famine (emotional eater constantly starving), Konoe as War (her character revolves around weapons) and Relius as Disease (his character modifies others like a virus to propagate his own goals). The real wild card in all this mess is Hazama, not because he was genetically engineered to be a smother version of master manipulator Terumi but actually because he is a living Azure Grimoire synched out with Kusanagi. If Ragna's incomplete AG and Nu's incomplete Kusanagi can produce a world ending Black Beast then what the heck would happen if Hazama's near-complete AG got together with Mu's complete Kusanagi? In my understanding, Hazama jumped from being Terumi's meat puppet to godslayer hijacker and if he can pull a reverse hug.exe with his paired PFD he could possibly become a god and troll everyone else. -

Ogiga When I say that Naoto and Ragna are parallel existences, I mean that their roles in causality are similar for the purpose of Amaterasu's story. Each instance of the Blaz Blue multiverse, be it X Blaze, Bloodege Experience or whatever, were at some point observed by the girl inside Amaterasu to try and figure out if they brought her desired outcome. Naoto's story has so many parallels and similar character's to Ragna's because that's what attracted the Master Unit to consider his possibility for observation. In the canon timeline of BB, Naoto dies fighting Clavis and since neither Raquel or Saya Terumi are mentioned in the present we can assume that they both died aswell. This is a major time fork regarding how history develops due to Naoto's existence and it's influence on those involved with him. If Naoto survives, then his survival enables the possibility of both Rachel and Saya Terumi surviving any events which his absense would otherwise lead to their deaths. If Raquel survives then Clavis has no need to create Rachel as her replacement and if Saya Terumi survives then she remains a potential early host for Izanami which in turn eliminates the need for Relius to kidnap Jin and Saya Kisaragi and experiment on them. Without siblings to originate his tragedy, without Rachel to save his life and possibly without being created if Relius was involved with it somehow, Ragna's chances of existing as he is in any timeline which had Naoto surviving drops significantly. The two distinct timelines are practically impossible to merge within Amaterasu's observed quantum of possibilities so for as long as her focus is on Ragna and not Naoto then the latter's reality goes to the reciclying bin. With that said, his very existence outside logic in the embryo can turn the situation upside down if he gets too close to Ragna. If Amaterasu, even for a moment, observes Naoto as the "hero" of her story instead of Ragna then she might accidentaly erase all of the BB timeline and canonize BEE as the "real" one. This means that Rachel gets replaced by Raquel, Saya Kisaragi gets replaced by Saya Terumi and god knows what replaces the Dark War if Ragna never comes to exist to cause the timeloop paradox. In a nutshell, BEE is a parallel timeline whose main actors surviving removes the possibility of several BB actors taking their roles or even existing in the first place hence Naoto being Ragna's alternative in the multiverse. When I talk about the Sanskishin Units materializing parts of their wielder's soul, I am speculating about the fact that each of them is related to seemingly supernatural beings whose origins are mostly unknown. Since Izami is the personalized drive of the girl inside Amaterasu, this opens the precedent that both Rachel and Terumi could be similar beings who were born from soul fragments of wielders of Tsukuyomi and Susanoo. Rachel/Raquel being manifestations of a piece of Clavis's soul make sense because they share several characteristics with him despite their artificial origins, if Tsukuyomi could create a new being out of a piece of it's wielder's soul then it would explain why a goddamn embryo decided to take the form of a vampire for no other reason than being around another vampire. Terumi being born from someone else's soul fragment would explain why he is so goddamn hard to kill, his whole existence began outside of time and then invaded it like a virus with no beggining or end.
