Well... Alternate Es, nah. Mori is a bastard, he is the kind who loves kicking his characters back and fort past despair event horizon and undoing anything meaningful they ever accomplish. X Blaze is Chronologically placed some 20 years before the Dark War whereas Bloodedge Experience occurs roughly at the same time it should take place. From my perspective the Wadatsumi incident and it's subsequent timelines eventually lead to a similar situation as that of Central Fiction with the world ending into a new embryo and Amaterasu rage quitting to the point she erased the Wadatsumi incident and every trace of those timelines except for Es who wound up guarding the sketchbook containing OPFD's memories of that previous Universe. Amaterasu then created the BB Universe and plugged the hole she left by erasing the XB Universe through a massive paradox in the form of CT's endless loop. That gamble allowed Amaterasu to keep her rewritten world alive at least for a couple centuries more but after all the crap that happened in CS and CP the world ended up ending again so she created the BEE Universe by changing Naoto's fate and preventing the Dark War from happening. Only that, because of her faith in Ragna still saving her, Amaterasu didn't go through the full destruction and recreation process and Naoto's world got stuck into a Schrodinger's state of existing and not existing at the same time. Naoto is supposed to be Ragna's successor and replacement but since OPFD, like most of the fandom, is not buying him as the new protagonist of the story yet so he remains a parallel hypothetical existence to Ragna's. In the timeless reality of the Embryo this isn't much of a problem but since both occupy the same spot in Amaterasu's observation if Naoto gets too close to Ragna then the Master Unit might be unable to recognize the two as different entities and thus erase one of them. -

Es is from the chronological past of the BB Universe, anything she wields is bound to look like a prototype or retro version of what they wield in the present. It's like a WWII marine with a BAR jumping into a fight with SCARs, it's as every bit as awesome as it sounds. -

Well... Tsubaki is the character who knows Ragna the least, it's not so much about them having similar ideals as she having the wrong impression about him. -

The issue with the Black Beast is probably the same as Hakumen. The real one is just an abomination in the deeps of the Boundary but it manifests in different proportions according to the power of those used to summon it. Wild guess but the Sanskishin and Take Mikazuchi were probably created to beat the original Black Beast back to the void and the Azure Shrine Maiden was the first wielder of Amaterasu. -

Capitalism beats logic at every turn, especially when the Japanese audience has a penchant for forgetting the plot when it comes to seeing their favourite characters. Terumi and Lambda are just too popular to stay dead. Talking now about Phenomenon Intervention, there seems to be a misconception regarding how it works and it can or cannot do. Amaterasu is not Haruhi, she can't just create a new Universe with new laws to suit her whims. What she can do is go back and forth through the time spectrum and change the outcomes of several actions to create a new timeline. While she can change any outcome at any point in history since her creation, she cannot predict the outcomes that new timeline will produce because possibilities are excluded from the chain of time. Every time Amaterasu changes an outcome she must wait and see if that outcome plays out the way she intended. This is why she coudn't just save Mu-12 from the start or why it took Noel breaking the loop for Amaterasu to transform her into the eye, Amaterasu is an addict to RNG with every possibility she observes creating even more possibilities in an infinite continuum shift. -

With all due respect, reading long rants about people taking any fictional media too seriously and too agressively is not worth the time and health degradation. I speak that from experience. I didn't play X Blaze, I mostly read about it from second sources such as Wiki or internet forums so forgive me for not having a perfect grasp of the situation. Still, I am trying to find a common point as to what becoming the Eye of Azure means. Es and Hinata displayed that power in X Blaze for a very short time for different reasons but Noel has that power constantly. So far from what is revealed in CF, Noel is a manifestation of the OPFD's soul who hitch hiked Mu-12 to play self-insert. Just to make it clear, it is Noel and not Mu-12 who has the Eye of the Azure power of phenomena intervention, Noel is the one messing up with reality inside the Embryo and constantly rewriting it while Mu-12 is merely running away from those she siked at her. Back to X Blaze, that reality sound to me as one which predated the BB timelines, all it's powers and mechanics worked differently based on the Wadatsumi incident which never occured in the BB timelines so it's sensible that OPFD/Amaterasu at some point decided X Blaze wasn't the world she wanted and ditched it to create the BB one. It's the same logic why Naoto exists in BEE but appears in BB despite being "dead". Naoto is Ragna's successor, the hero from Amaterasu's new story should she decide to ditch the current timeline and create a completely different one, the duo only exists at the same time because Amaterasu hasn't decided if she want to give up on BB or not. From that we can imply that Touya from XB was Ragna's predecessor but ultimately failed to accomplish what Amaterasu/OPFD desired as her happy ending, this in turn imply that some immense calamity happened in the XB timeline after the events of Lost Memory which ultimately lead to that reality being retconned from existence. Es guarding that book is all that's left from the XB reality and she seems rather pissed and serious about keeping what ended it as completely forgotten. -

TLDR Some people need to take a chill pill, were are only dealing with speculations about a plot involving reality manipulation, time travel and interdimentional possession by disembodied souls with split personalities but they argue that theories are stupid? LOL! I am only talking about what being the eye of Azure means and why Es was temporarily it. Es, like Mu, is an artificial human created to serve as a weapon or container for Embryo/Black Beast shenanigans but thanks to interaction with good people they developed into a full fledged person and broke a recurring loop of tragedies. Since OPFD longs for family and friends, her soul hitch hikes those bodies which come to be called the Eye of Azure. Es split like Noel into herself and Nobody, only that she was herself while OPFD was most likely Nobody and returned to Amaterasu once the was left alone in the Boundary. -

Uh, I never said that Es was inside Amaterasu. I said that Noel tried to manifest in her like she did with Mu but ultimately it failed. Es gave up on being the successor of the Azure which would be akin to Mu-12 kicking Noel's soul back to her coffin. Also, Sechs was heavily implied to be under Izanami's control so she likely succeed in destroying that particular world at some point for Es to become Amaterasu's book guardian -

Es was once the Eye of the Azure too, it seems like she was a proto Noel of sorts but didn't grow into a fullfledged person like Mu-12 did. It makes sense that since Es rejected being host to Amaterasu's soul at the end of X Blaze memories, giving up all her powers in the process, she ended up stuck at limbo when Amaterasu threw a hissy fit and recreated the world after the X Blaze world got destroyed by Izanami. -

Well... Seems that I was right about Noel being OPFD spiritual manifestation taking over Mu-12 as it's host. What is interesting now is that they are trying to find a way o kill and replace her as the mind controlling the world. I gather two things though. This whole deal about Amaterasu being empty is more like, since the good part (Noel) and the bad part (Izanami) are out possessing living people, it's only natural that the only thing remaining there is the robotic part devoided of a soul. They also said that there are two ways of ending the scenario created by the current god: -One is putting Noel into the Kushinada Lynchpin, this would kill both Noel and Izanami thus destroying OPFD's soul and in turn kill it's physical body inside the Amaterasu unit to create a godless world. -Another one is using an embryo of enormous power to override the Master Unit, kicking out the current driver and replacing it with a new poor soul to serve as god. What is really interesting is how several different character's have devised different ways of achieving any of those two goals: -Ragna wants to use his power as the Black Beast (hinted to be an Embryo/Gate or whatever) to bust open the Master Unit and save whoever is inside there. -Jin went into full SEIGI mode and wants to kill Noel, Izanami and Amaterasu with the KL then destroy Ragna and the empty Master Unit to create a world ruled by SEIGI were nothing exists outside of logic. -Izanami wants to throw Noel back into the body of OPFD so that she breaks into despair and allows the world to perish forever. -Nine wants to override the Master Unit using a fully restored Take Mikazuchi in place of the Black Beast then use Nu-13 or Lambda-11 as a new emotionless god to sit inside Amaterasu or it's replacement. -Relius is in cahoots with Nine but working on a plan of his own with Arakune as the Black Beast, Lambda-11 as the new god and Ignis as the new Master Unit. -Amane is more or less neutral due to his status as an observer but is hinted to favor Ragna's solution. -Kokonoe and Kagura (I am starting to think those two will become a couple somehow) support the replacement solution yet also want a world without a god so they will probably take Ragna's side of the equation. -Terumi wants to use a magic cube to become Black Susanoo and destroy everything with direct violence. -The rest of the cast is just as lost as the fandom as to WTF they are supposed to do in this game. -

Uh, sorry I am new here, is there a proper place to discuss theories? Just to finalize my theory here, the existence known as Noel is recent and was created by the subconscious desire of the girl in the Master Unit as she repeated the closed loop over and over again. Noel is to Mu-12 what Izanami is to Saya, a manifestation of the OPFD possessing the body of someone else. She choose Mu-12 because the later's survival was an anomally in the closed loop, for thousands of cycles the norm was for her to die until one particular timeline that changed and possibly that moment gave hope to the OPFD to manifest Noel into Mu-12. However, like Izanami, the possession wasn't an immediate process. It took years for Noel to develop emotionally and build relationships befitting the concept she embodied but she only awakened as the eye when she broke the time loop and thus made the OPFD believe she wanted to be Noel. Likewise, Izanami only awakened after the time loop stopped. Another interesting comparison between Noel and Izanami is that neither were aware of their true nature and connection to the OPFD. -

Goddamn, I am not saying that they are related, I am saying that whoever is inside the Master Unit wanted to have an ideal life so badly that she ended up creating a self-insert in the form of Noel Vermillion. This is why she is the goddamn Eye of the Azure, because the girl in the Master Unit sees the world through Noel's eyes. Like how Izanami is the personification of the girl's nihilist desire to end everything, Noel existence is the personification of her desire to live a happy normal life. It also makes sense that Noel needed a vessel to manifest herself just like how Izanami needed Saya, this vessel presented itself in Mu-12 whose survival only happened after several thousand loops. -

Terumi is not the best person to decide who has a soul or not. He considers all PFDs to be just dools despite evidence to the contrary. Remember that Lambda still had a soul previous to Kokonoe resetting her and that this soul began to reform once she was revived on CPEX. For all intends and purposes, OPFD could have been a human girl whose soul was removed to turn her into a PFD, only that this soul regenerated like Lambda's and she began subconsciously use the Azure to create a reality free from all the pain she endured. -

Bruh, I know this, it's the other way around. Whether the OPFD is called Noel or not is besides the point, she acknowledges herself as being Noel and this whole mess is caused by her not wanting to admit she isn't. Thus every time starts OPFD starts remembering who she actually is she tosses reality into the privy and acts like her self-insert doesn't have memories. -
Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
1337 H@x0r replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Well... I think I have an ounce of an idea of what is going on in this mess. The Original Prime Field device was a girl named Noel Vermillion, if X-Blaze and Izayoi are any indication then normal humans can be converted into embryos and super weapons just fine. It actually makes more sense since creating a completely artificial human was harder with older technology and the Master Unit was already occupied by the time XBlaze happened. What happened is that this Noel Vermillion, after being turned into the Original Prime Field Device, was launched into the boundary, gained godhood from the Azure, went mad from isolation and destroyed the world with the Black Beast until she was sealed inside the Amaterasu Unit. Once inside the Amaterasu Unit, she had her bad memories sealed (inside that giant book?) and was reprogrammed to restore the world (by rewriting the contents of that book?) through Phenomenon Intervention based on her purified memories. However, her insanity and the destruction she layed upon the world could not be completely erased and her subconscious created Hades Izanami to personify her Nightmare Memory. That part of her manifested as a disembodied will to create a world of death and it sought host after host to restore the reality that once existed. Because of manipulations from Izanami and Yuuki Terumi, who probably was someone that knew Noel before she became the Master Unit, the world of X-Blaze was destroyed too and the Master Unit rewrote history again creating the closed time loop because she didn't know how to make a happy ending. The only people who retained their memories of the X-Blaze timeline was Es because she was once the Eye of the Azure, Terumi because he was from a previous timeline, Amane for the same reason as Terumi and Izanami because she is the drive of Original Noel. Relius doesn't know the entire truth from experience like them but he figured it out because he is just that smart while I simply have no idea what Rachel's deal is. Anyhow, as Noel Vermillion rewrote history for hundreds of times she eventually began to recreate a fascimile of herself out of frustration for being physically unable to interact with the world. Her countless rewrites eventually supplanted the original fate of the 12th Prime Field Device detroyed in Ibukido and put her self-insert into the ideal life of a girl with friends and family, that way Noel Vermillion came to impersonate herself from the boundary into another person and eventually started acknowledging that person as the real Noel. However, this transference was only completed when Noel saved Ragna from the Cauldron and thus finally created a happy ending accepted by the Master Unit. This only lasted until Terumi reawokened Mu-12 as the Sword of Kusanagi and threw Noel Vermillion out of her self-insert delusions, because Mu-12 is the actual owner of that body and her godslayer powers can screw up with Noel/Amaterasu's control she snapped back into insane kill em all mode until Ragna reasserted her existence as a real person regardless of that body's true origins. That way Noel came to acnowledge Mu-12 as another facet of her existence and the Master Unit incorporated that body's true form as part of her happy self-insert fic. This only lasted until Izanami turned Ragna into the Black Beast and ate Noel/Mu-12, when the latter was dragged close to the boundary it began to remember it's true identity and freaked out thus triggering the master unit to make another rewrite as the world was consumed by the embryo. In the rewritten world inside the embryo, Noel Vermillion ditched all her memories of being Mu-12 going into full Mary-Sue self-insert while the latter received the full brunt of Amaterasu's pent up frustration and guilt. In this time warped reality, Noel and Mu-12 are separated entities because Amaterasu (real Noel) is being a self-conciouss prick who wants to run away from her problems. In short order she transfered her self-insert from Mu-12 into a completely outside context projection while the poor Prime Field Device 12 is left wondering why her supposed other personality don't want to be her anymore. Being just a projection of the real Noel, the fake Noel we see cannot be killed unless they kill the real one inside Amaterasu (unlikely given she is protected by the Tsukuyomi Unit) or strike the fake with immortal breaker to destroy Noel's delusions of he ideal existence. Izanami set everyone after her because, being the manifestation of her sealed memory of destroying everything, she is the desire (or rather drive) of Noel Vermillion to commit suicide and put the world out of it's misery alongside herself. Naturally, as the real Noel is split between her subconsciouss desire of an ideal life, her subconsciouss desire to commit murder-suicide against everything and her rational programmation to save the world from destruction, everyone else caught in the middle is royally screwed. From all that non-sense I just wrote, we can infer that Naoto's world is actually a draft inside Noel/Amaterasu's head which she planned to replace the current world with but failed to do because of her current personality split. Hence, Naoto's world is a Schrodinger's timeline existing and non-existing at the same time because Amaterasu can't make up her mind if she wants to ditch the BB world and acknowledge the BEE world as her new story with Naoto as her new hero or if she keeps the story she wrote for the BB world and remains hopeful that Ragna will save her somehow.
