  1. Well... We have to remember that normal humans go batshit insane if they fall into the boundary, Relius Clover was like CT Carl before falling into that place, Konoe became a Terumi in skirts with a massive siscon complex overriding even maternal instincts and Lotte Carmine became a panda and a blob. Jin has SEIGI, Makoto's species was engineered to resist Seithr and the Black Beast, PFDs have their emotions sealed to ignore mind rape, Ragna was shielded by a Sanskishin and Trinity outright sealed her own soul in her Nox only to come back with other two people in a loli/trap body. To say that falling into the boundary doesn't involve some crazy shit who would kill anyone besides plot shielded playable characters is a massive understatement.
  2. Well... Hakumen didn't know the Black Beast's body would become his brother's Azure Grimmoire because Jin had already left the church when the transplant took place. Besides, since the Black Beast has a cauldron in it so I think it'd be more practical to just seal the remnants under Celica's power nullifier than risk causing a massive spill of Seithr from a broken cauldron. The best analogy would be sinking a CVN, the goddamn thing can destroy entire countries under just a few minutes and can withstand even direct nuclear fire. However, since a ship can't operate without a crew it is much more practical to just let the dead husk get stuck on a beach and rot there than try and blow up the still active reactor.
  3. Nox Nyctores and Ars Magus are weaponry powered by Seithr, the difference is that the latter just uses ambient Seithr while the former have a soul cluster and a piece of the Black Beast inside to reach greater effect and indepence. Both the Black Beast and Take-Mikazuchi are huge masses of Seithr shaped by the souls used in their smelting, the first uses Nu+Ragna while the latter, lacking the Azure Grimoire, uses several thousand souls to achieve stability. Given how both BB and TM are made from the same raw materials, it's easy for a smart ass like Nine to figure out how to produce new weapons out of their fragments or creating new ones from scratch by gathering enough souls and Seithr.
  4. Well... OG99, you have more information than most which needs to be shared, I only conceive theories based on the information I have so try not to act conceited. 1- I think I read new body somewhere at someone's ending, I might have confused Amane's ending about him replacing Amaterasu or something like that. 3- Naoto is not responsible for the existence of those around him, however, he played a direct role in changing the fates of every character he came in contact with for better or for worse. At some point in BEE's history both Rachel Alucard and Saya Terumi will inevitably depend on him for their survival and in any reality in which he died the duo will inevitably perish at some crucial moment he would have intervened if alive. 4- The Power of Order could very well be a goddamn anti-Gueass that reality creates to close the wounds made by interference from the Azure. It might not be a drive but it surely acts like one for it's wielders. Maybe drive isn't the most appropriate appelation here, however, it doesn't change the fact that souls have been shown to split apart and create new ones from their fragments. Sanskishin Units have repeatedly shown to be wield by ghostly entities or produce new beings from their wielder's souls. Alternate existences are a very recently introduced concept in the BB verse, the possibility that the same existence or soul can manifest itself in different shapes but similar roles enlarges the lore but makes it more confusing than it already is. My point is that, given how Raquel can override Rachel and vice-versa but they don't exist in the same timeline, it's plausible that they are both the same soul construct manifested by the Tsukuyomi Unit through different means. Whereas Saya Terumi is a human girl born in 20XX who arguably acts like Izanami's vessel, Saya Kisaragi (lol let's call her that) is another ambiguously human girl born in 21XX to enact that same fate. Even if the circumnstances of their awakening and the development of their possession is different, they end up playing the same role regardless of how diverging their original circumstances were. Speaking about universal constants, I think it has to do with "bookmarks" with take place before the current story branching. It goes that the deeper you look into the past, the less tree brances you are likely too find. The Amanohokosaka's have been dealing with the Azure since ancient times so it's likely that they are completely integrated with all current known possibilities and timelines. With that said, my guess is that everything we have in the present of BB are left overs from the original Dark War fought between the Azure Shrine Maiden and her allies against the original Black Beast. Everything from the Sanskishin Units to Izayoi and the Take-Mikazuchi were made during that long forgotten war then hidden for their power, only to be used in case the Black Beast returned. It kind of reminds me from the Nasuverse where in the distant past humanity had all sorts of crazy magitek which could face even Archetypes or destroy whole dimensions but those things faded into legend as the world matured and evolved into one more accostumed to order rather than magic.
  5. Well... 1- Rachel's vessel was made from something which was never human to begin with, not only that but it is biologically still a child so it wouldn't display much toughts of it's own. In Rachel's ending they also hint at giving her a new body. 2- Humanity had already breached the boundary during XBlaze which chronologically happens before BEE. 3- Naoto is pretty much the lynchpin of his timeline, as the hero his existence is what makes other characters in his universe successful. It's like, if he was Naruto then him dying at the hands of Kabuto in part one would completely doom the rest of the cast. 4- Good question, Hakumen is weird because he is Jin and his drive would be the Power of Order. Yet since Jin also exists as his own person outside of Susanoo, his drive is in a Schrödinger's position regarding self-awareness. Other characters like Makoto and Tsubaki are beggining to exibit the Power of Order in small amounts so it's possible that Hakumen's drive is in it's early stages of evolution. It's some pretty crazy shit considering that characters back in XBlaze already began to show traits similar to Izanami despite the entity itself not displaying awareness yet.
  6. Well... Raquel is to Rachel what Naoto is to Ragna, a parallel existence fulfilling their role in another story. Our big question is how does that shite works and I came up with the idea that both Rachel and Raquel are actually Clavis Alucard's Drive manifested through the Tsukuyomi Unit. They are basically different vessels for the same soul.
  7. Well... Is she? Where did they state that? What I got was that Naoto was a Chronophantasma. He, like Celica, is a person who should be dead in the current timeline but still exists with all of his memories thank to being forced there agaisnt the world's logic.
  8. Well... Rachel is not a Chronophantasma, that's a cloned soul from someone from a different time period. Her case is more like reincarnation where you die in the present but your soul moves into a new version of you living in the future. Rachel is an alternate existence to Raquel just like Saya Terumi is an alternate existence to the BB Saya. Rachel and Raquel's soul are one and the same, the Drive from Clavis Alucard made manifest by the Tsukuyomi Unit. The difference is that in any timeline where Naoto dies, so does Raquel and this means Clavis goes on to create the current Rachel at a later date. The timeline of BEE is one in which Naoto survives and so does Raquel, thus Clavis doesn't need to create Rachel and the former overrides the later.
  9. Well... It is likely that Saya Terumi is to the current Saya what Raquel is to Rachel, a previous vessel which died before producing results. Both Saya Terumi and Raquel depend upon Naoto's survival for their own, in any timeline where he dies so do they and Izanami and Rachel are thus returned into their ghostly partially existing forms until their new respective vessels are born/made. If Terumi is an existence likes this then it makes sense that he hates Rachel so much, unlike Izanami whose creator is still alive, both of them are disembodied drives of dead people who knew the truth about the world yet she tries to save it while he wants to wreck it. Terumi represents everything Rachel would be if she gave up hope and turned against the world. Rachel is arrogant, knowledgeable and manipulative like Terumi and she also has a side full of bloodlust and sadism, like him, which she suppresses in a display of boredom rather than psychotic rage. Since Terumi can't comprehend good, seeing someone like him acting in a completely different way which helps people drives him to utter disgust.
  10. Well... As far as we know, Clavis never had any wife/girlfriend/FWB/ONS who mothered Rachel and he isn't (as far as we know) an hermaphrodite either. While Raquel's murky origins are rather known, we don't know about Rachel's but we do know that Clavis only grew old and died after the later. My theory is that just like the wielder of Amaterasu can project her drive, so can the wielders of Susanoo and Tsukuyomi. Rachel is actually the drive of Clavis Alucard (which is also the source of his vampire powers) made manifest and just like Izanami, she needs a vessel to physically exist. In BEE, Clavis made Raquel from an embryo to serve as the vessel for his drive but since Naoto did not survive in the main BB timeline it's likely that Raquel died and Clavis made a new vessel which is the current Rachel we know. The reason why Rachel has zero life force while Raquel has a massive one is because Raquel was read while Clavis was alive while Rachel was a projection from the future when Clavis was already dead. The reason why Clavis died is explained by Izanami's arcade ending, despite Rachel being his drive she grew a soul of her own and became a real person. While that alone would not kill Clavis, since OPFD is still alive inside Amaterasu despite Izanami growing a soul, the moment he gave Tsukuyomi to Rachel he willingly sealed his own fate. Since Rachel and Raquel are different forms of the same thing, they can temporarily override one another depending on whose existence is stronger at the time. If this theory holds true, then it also explains Terumi's existence. Terumi is actually the drive of Susanoo's former wielder who grew a soul and became a person like Rachel and Izanami. His normal state is a disembodied ghost who needs a host to interact with the world, however, because he has emotions and desires of his own he became a real person and can continue to exist and even self-observe long after his creator died.
  11. Well... Relax, I am not saying it's evil, just more lucrative. Arcsys doesn't make money out of every person paying pennies on the arcade. Arcades buy software copies from Arcsys for a much higher price than a console but that amounts to just some tens of thousands copies. This hardly makes much profit but creates a lot of hype for a console version which allows gamers to play how much they want. Add to it some really important or well liked character exclusive to the console and money rains on their pockets from fans like us.
  12. Well... She said that if Izayoi and Jin failed to kill Ragna before his life expires then the former had to kill her to prevent something awful. I guess that Rachel was the one observing Ragna to stop him from becoming the Black Beast and that killing her with Izayoi would make Ragna vanish into the boundary before he could destroy the world. In Ragna's ending it's hinted that Amane offered to take her place to extend his time because he knew of this. Rachel probably started to intervene directly because she felt Ragna's time shortening and if he doesn't accomplish what he must before the both of them die then survival for her is meaningless.
  13. Well... Oh I am so going to enjoy posting poorly translated japanese spoilers out of this!
  14. Well... I don't think Azrael is strong enough to defeat the Black Beast by himself, it took all of humanity armed to the teeth with Ars Magus plus the Six Heroes and the nine Nox Nyctoris to put that things down and it was only a copy from the original. In my opinion, Azrael's character goes well with dying in battle after bitting more than he can chew. He is a monster that defies logic by all standards but the Black Beast is the very negation of it. That said, I can see Azrael as the Terumi of the new Six Heroes, an evil abomination that relishes in destruction but is pivotal in defeating the greater threat.
  15. Well... This is why Ragna is there to guard her, to smack the crap of anyone unworthy of Celica's attention. Celica is a natural anti-Seithr weapon, throw Amaterasu loaded up with that into the Boundary and the whole leaking problems will be fixed. Personally, I don't think this needs more resets and neither does Ragna. The entitled are nothing more than people with an exceptional strenght of will which allows them to exist whitin the dimension of the Embryo and once the Embryo is undone and Seithr is pulled back into the boundary everyone will revive if they have the will to (just like in End of Evangelion). Izanami won't exist if Celica becomes Amaterasu because the former is the drive of the current user made manifest, Celica's drive is something about healing and Seithr neutralization so no more death goddesses. Nine can go suck an egg for being a crazy revenant siscon trying to blow up the world, she deserves such ironic fate for putting Celica above even Kokonoe.
  16. Well... The OPFD needs to be rescued, that girl never asked to become Amaterasu in the first place, trying to blame her for every wrong thing that happened is misguided since she uses phenomenon intervention like a kid with cocaine (addicted without knowing it's bad). Noel's ideal ending would be more or less like Es to be honest, being able to finally live a normal live with her loved ones wheter she is originally human or not. The deal with SEIGI is probably that it represents Logic and it's constatly at odds things outside it's grasp. Jin and other SEIGI characters along history are reality's response to the Boundary trying to screw it's rules and control destiny through time manipulation. It is likely that SEIGI preceeded Amaterasu and is what normally would keep the world existing without observation, hence Jin wants to blow up all that magic crap to where it came from. The most ideal ending for the series in general would be Celica willingly becoming Amaterasu's new user while Ragna protects her for the rest of eternity to keep his promise, the reasons for that is mainy because Celica is a Chronophantasma existing outside of logic (her actual self is still dead) and doomed to expire once time starts flowing again not to mention she is the only person nice and sane enough to endure such burden. Having an all loving goddess without a tiny bit of selfishness since her only object of interest (Ragna) would be with her for all eternity would solve most problems caused by an emotionally wrecked goddess trying to escape her own predictment, I mean, Celica is dumb kind enough to accept even a world full of suffering because she won't stop seeing the beauty in it so it would lead to much less PI spamming because things didn't go the way she wanted. It's all good for Ragna too, saving the world, seeing his family moving past it's tragedy and finally laying his sword down to spend an eternity of peace besides someone who genuinely loves him.
  17. Well... To be honest, Blazblue has more room to develop prequels than sequels and there is plenty of room for Ragna to appear in the former. The tretralogy of Blazblue is the story of Ragna and the Prime Field devices revolving around humanity's involvement with Amaterasu and the Boundary but it still doesn't explain the whole story of the lore. We still haven't got a clue as to who build the Sanskishin Units, Take-Mikazuchi and Izayoi, who truly was Clavis Alucard and the role he played in history, were the Gates a natural part of the World or were they build by an unknown faction who knew the Azure existed without them? If Ragna becomes guardian of the Azure, he will likely gain access to these truths and will likely be able to appear in several different eras as a guest character even if he is no longer the protagonist.
  18. Hush people! We are forbidden to speculate about potential characters. In any case, we already have two bloodedges and they are much stronger thanTouya. Besides, Es is the only one who has a connection with BB through Lost Memories through Nine while Naoto had one in Rachel.
  19. Well... HOLY SHIT! That thing is huge! Fuck, if that's just one of eight heads it's gonna be a miracle fitting the whole thing into a stage.
  20. Well... Speaking about Makoto, was there any information released about her?
  21. Well... The current timelines all derivate from the CT paradox but said paradox must have had timelines preceeding it, I say this because phenomenon intervention works normally through marginal returns in which history is retwritten word by word and point by point until it looks completely differently than it originally was. My point is that what we currently know as the Dark War was originally another occurence which got rewritten to the point things like Ragna and Nu (sometimes Mu) becoming the Black Beast and Jin becoming Hakumen became the norm and were completely intrinsic to the history observed as true by Amaterasu. XB doesn't lead to BB, I never said it did. What I said is that XB leads into another doomsday scenario which is simply unwinnable by it's protagonists, thus it forces Amaterasu to ultimately abort all timelines coming from the Wadatsumi incident and adopt a new canon which happens to be the BB world. It doesn't matter that Es left a Phantom Field in place to block Amaterasu's view, the very fact that Nine is rulling that place as an omnicidal revenant markedly points out that it failed to stop the "girl's storybook" from ending in tragedy and Es regaining Azure eyes and guarding said book while her stage is an apocalyptic wasteland only strengthens the thesis that X Blaze got utterly wrecked with Es remaining as it's sole survivor. There is a 150 year period between X Blaze's set date and Blazblue's present date, this means that another 150 year of alternate history could have transpired in the XB timeline after the events of Lost Memories and we don't know any of it. Naoto is Ragna's replacement in Amaterasu's canon timeline but they both exist at the same time because OPFD did not decide yet wheter to stop observing the BB world and let it disappear or not. Same logic goes to Es world, she placed a massive block called Tsukuyomi World to stop Amaterasu's interference meaning that her timeline and the major incident leading to it fell under partial observation and a simultaneous state of existence and non-existence. I doubt that the Tsukuyomi World can completely curb Amaterasu's power and I doubt that it can extend to the entire Continuum Shift of possibilities emanating from XB's timeline, it's more likely that some future incident in that timeline forced Es to become a guardian but it has not been revealed yet. Also, there is a massive trade-off in removing Amaterasu from observing your dimension, while you are no longer subjected to her definition of the ideal timeline you also have no more continues to go on if things go south.
  22. Well... There is a paradox which was never explained, if the Dark War was caused by Ragna and Nu fusing into a Black Beast and falling through the Cauldron back in time then at least one vastly different timeline existed when the Dark War was caused by something else yet Ragna and Nu still end up existing. It's a question of eggs coming before the chicken since Ragna and Nu couldn't possibly have retroactively caused their existences before they travelled back in time at least once. Evidence is pointing towards XB somehow being the timeline leading to the BB world by virtue of the Wadatsumi incident being retconned from existence and Es stage being a ruined world points towards her own Universe getting shafted by Mori.
  23. Well... Maybe that explains Touya's absense...
  24. Well... Nope, can't see shite in that smol image.
  25. Well... Clearly something went wrong with that whole "World of Tsukuyomi" deal since Es is back into the Boundary and her Watashi friend turned into a mad revenant trying to blow up the world. If Es got a perfect happy ending and nothing went wrong with her Universe then, given what we know now of Amaterasu and it's wielder, there would have been no reason for the BB Universe to exist. According to Nine, a fully powered Take-Mikazuchi can destroy the world just as fine as the Black Beast and since the XB closed it's cauldrons theoretically there were no Dark War and no reason for Nine to find and depower Take-Mikazuchi from it's world destroying potential. Case in point, since Izanami can hijack Take-Mikazuchi from orbit once she has fully manifested in the real world, I am inclined to think that Es world was ultimately destroyed by a possessed "Saya" of sorts using Take-Mikazuchi in the place of the Black Beast. Under such scenario the heroes were basically screwed and Amaterasu had to give up, without Nox Nyctoris or Ars Magus there are very few beings who can fight monsters outside logic much less one with the power of destroy the entire world like Take-Mikazuchi. Take-Mikazuchi, Take-Mikazuchi, Take-Mikazuchi, Take-Mikazuchi... I love repeating this words!
