  1. That's cool to hear! GG stuffs are kinda on hiatus right now, as it's main players are located on different islands. With the release of AC+ on current gen consoles, there might be some folks out there that are interested in wanting to play/try out GGAC, but whether they actually will play is another story altogether. You'll likely be on Oahu, so there's at least one person there who's down to play. There might be some others, as well. I probably will have to fly out to Oahu to game with you when you're here though, lol. But yeah, keep us posted. If you have any questions about other stuff, just ask.

  5. Nehle, you have the ACR mook? Also, D Fish Summon is still listed as Lv 2 in the Dizzy section of the ACR Frame Data.
  6. There is that to consider, as well. It could be a different case altogether if it was another char instead. It'd be kinda surprising if some Ice Spike attributes got changed in ACR though.
  7. D Ice Spike Combo Scenario: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bilho3gwChw#t=9m11s CH 236D FRC > dash f.S > 236H FRC > IAD j.2S > j.H > ... This might be a CH specific combo, probably due to range and extra launch time. You could probably do followup combo stuffs without 236D FRC and just dash up > combo after the CH launch, maybe. Possible opportunity to convert/follow-through with Ice Spike FRC Combo stuffs.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bilho3gwChw#t=9m11s CH 236D FRC > dash f.S > 236H FRC > IAD j.2S > j.H > ... It looks like Ice Spike still has 85% forced proration in ACR. I think a followup air combo, or a different combo variant/ender, would've potentially inflicted enough damage here to finish off Axl, from my POV anyway. #R-style Ice Spike FRC Combo damage stuffs would be nice to have again though, lol.
  9. Random, lol. It would be cool to play Daemon Bride again for some 'danmaku'-esque stuffs.
  10. Updated the 2nd post and initial reference listing. Probably gonna update the post again when the rest of the move/frame data info gets translated and added to the wiki. I might even have to start putting together some info stuffs for another Dizzy-related wiki project, lol.

  13. Bubble Loop is a YMMV scenario. Some people like to do them, while others don't. Being able to do it is one thing, but implementing/integrating it into your own gameplay is another thing entirely. I've used the Bubble Loop in actual matches, often going for multiple reps for the opportunity to inflict massive damage. Sure it's conditional (setup/hit-confirms, chars weight/hitbox), but if it has the potential to finish off the opponent, it's an option, as are most risk/reward scenarios. If anything, you gain experience in regards to doing the Bubble Loop if you try it out in actual matches, provided you have the opportunity to do so, with whatever setup you are capable of utilizing at that particular moment. Though the Bubble Loop has the potential to do great damage, especially since the combo doesn't use tension, the Bubble Loop usually ends with an air combo that doesn't allow any opportunity for KD. KD being something that Dizzy should strive to achieve, whenever possible, in order to make use of her okizeme/mixup options. You can sometimes do 1 rep of the Bubble Loop and try to end it with a KD, usually via an Ice Spike, but that scenario is somewhat specific and if the opponent somehow manages to tech the Ice Spike if it doesn't cause KD is a risk in of itself. (421) > 6H into Bubble Loop stuffs is a scenario that usually occurs after a KD and you opt to use 421 with a followup 6H as an oki option when you aren't able to summon fish, in my experience anyway.

  15. Check out the Dizzy page on the DL wiki for some info on various topics regarding gameplay stuffs. The Strategy section goes over some general gameplay tactics. The Tips & Techniques section highlights some applications of concepts that are specific to Dizzy. Okizeme is something you should take note of as it's an important part of Dizzy's gameplay. If you have any questions about a particular topic/concept, post them up in the relevant threads.
  16. GGXX AC+R matchup chart - made by JP BBS 2012/11/2
  17. The second post of this thread currently functions as a compilation post for changes from the loketests to the arcade release. The post will likely be updated with more details later on. Most likely, if/when the frame data/move info is translated and becomes available, probably from a mook, or something. For the most part, the info regarding changes is current, with the inclusion of info/observations from the 3rd loketest and arcade release.
  18. RE: post-Ice Spike OTG stuffs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bmZRM1GsBk#t=3m43s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRcahMl1YVk#t=6m50s (in corner) ... > 236H > OTG > dash 2K > c.S > 2S You can do OTG stuffs after a corner Ice Spike in AC as well. In regards to damage, OTG > dash 2K > c.S > 2S more-or-less equates to that of a OTG 236H. (based off of a stand-alone Ice Spike scenario in AC, tested against Sol) It might be nice to use to deal extra damage to finish off an opponent, provided their life point total is low enough anyway.
  19. I remember someone posting up a petition of sorts in a SRK 808 thread, trying to get a 3S cab to the Tilt Arcade in Hilo. I asked a friend of mine in Hilo about it sometime afterwards and he told me that no one really played it, save for one person that he saw one time. TBH though, I don't know how SF stuff has fared in Hilo over the years, prior to SF4. I remember when there was a GGXX cab (from HBB) that was at Tilt for a short while, I played it and most everyone else that I encountered didn't really take to it, save for one other person that actually knew how to play. Anything that wasn't Tekken (or popular) is foreign, lol.
  20. You previously lived in Hilo? IIRC, I think I talked to you about some stuff before, probably back on whatever SRK 808 thread, lol. There's someone in Hilo now that's in a somewhat similar situation, in regard to SF4 stuffs anyway.

  22. TBH, I don't how arcade stuffs are doing over there on Oahu. You'd probably have to check out the other arcades to see what's still available. Anyway though, welcome to the thread. If you have any questions about GG stuffs, just ask. What FGs do you and the others play/are interested in?
  23. Additions to the scene are welcome, provided they put in the effort and actually want to play/learn. Talk to Bears if you want to do GG sessions with him. Dunno if HVGL has any action since it moved to a different location earlier this year, IIRC. I'll probably check it out sometime the next time I'm on Oahu.
