-Capture having a wider range of projectile invul frames would help a ton. I'm not sure what they're going to change to 3C? Actually give it projectile invul (instead of just head a body)? -Her pressure is weak. It's hard to open people up. People who IB 5C consistently are a problem. I think what they mean by "increase the amount of pressure" is that they're adding options to her revolver action. Hopefully more ways to mix in high/low. -They're probably giving her a 5C that's faster on start-up but is still +0. Charging it will actually create a gap to catch mashing, and it will probably be FC only on charged hit. If they're nice they'll make it slightly + on charged block. -This never affected me probably because no one ever tried to actually IB 5B and punish, but this is still a good change. It's stuff like this that makes pressure bad: blockstrings that aren't true blockstrings. -New Blackout is a cool change. Same damage for less. One thing that bothered me about the present Blackout is this: The initial 720A costs 50 meter > The 720D follow-up costs 1 heat > The 1080 followup costs 50 meter. The 720 followup, even though it only costs 1 heat, would use up both levels if you had 2 stocked. To me that seemed a little stupid. With this change, not only do you get more for (a lot) less, this means that the 720 followup truly only costs 1 heat. This means that if you have 50 meter and 2 heat levels, you can 720A > 720D into a combo and get back to level 2 heat and get knockdown. Good change.

We should play sometime. -
Big Three Team Tournament will have a $500 prize pot with free entry! Payout will be determined by the # of teams that enter. Persona or Guilty Gear will have a $500 pot bonus depending on which game gets more entrants! The game that gets more entrants will receive the pot bonus! Book your rooms people, stop slacking!!!!!

Sunday we will be running a special team event! The Big Three Team Tournament! Rules -Tournament will be double elimination. -Each team will be comprised of 3 players. -Each team member will be responsible for playing one of the following games: Persona 4 Arena, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, and Guilty Gear: Accent Core +R. -Each member will be game locked for the entire tournament. -All current tournament rule-sets for each game will be adhered to (i.e. Gold Characters are still banned in GG, Unlimited Characters are still banned in BlazBlue, etc). -Teams will play only one match. If there is enough time, finals will be 2/3. Match Format -Player "P" is the team member that plays Persona 4 Arena. -Player "B" is the team member that plays BlazBlue: Chronophantasma. -Player "G" is the team member that plays Guilty Gear: Accent Core +R. -Blind character picks may be requested. -The "P" players from each team will play one another. This goes the "B" and "G" players as well. -A match between players will be the best of 1 game set to 2/3 rounds. -A win in each game will be 1 point for that team for the total match count. -The team with the most points after all three games are played wins. Pretty much you'll want to build a team of 3, where each player is responsible for playing a specific game. The games are P4U, BBCP and GGAC+R. For a match between teams, the players for their respective games will play one another in their assigned game in an FT1. You cannot switch what game you play, but you may switch characters. Whichever team scores 2 or 3 points wins. Why are we doing this? It adds a new team tournament dynamic and it has the potential to be a lot of fun and full of hype. If run correctly it can be finished quickly, allowing people to enter something on Sunday without being rushed to leave. Also, it could allow more time for casuals afterward! As of right now entry is free with a dedicated pot (exact amount is still TBD). If this works out we could add more games in the future, possibly crossing between different scenes: NRS, 3D, Capcom, KoF, etc...

Alright so, I think we talked Jiyuna into coming to Canada for a couple days. The plan for him and I is to come up on Thursday (we'll get there in the evening), then leave Sunday morning. LK would get there Saturday morning and leave Tuesday. Who can help house Jiyuna and/or me (if possible)? He just doesn't want to sleep on a floor. -

I work on New Year's Eve, not New Year's Day. I can also take time off if I want. I have plenty. But I would only travel up there if it was worth it! -

Nope. Justin, I should be at your place on Friday sometime late afternoon/evening-ish. -
Let it be said that I wish I could get a shoutout to each person individually, but because I'm so busy I don't get to meet and play everyone. You all have my respect: you came out to NEC and made it an absolutely godlike event. Without competitors a tournament is nothing. We could have the best stream, tons of prizes, and a huge pot bonus, but it would all mean nothing without competition. You guys made the decision to come to NEC. For some of you that was a lot of money and time off from work/school. You're all fucking godlike. I can't stress that enough. Eric - I know get on each other but as you said it's all out of love. Thanks again for all you do. You give us the space and time to play the games we love and we couldn't ask for much else. You're the best TO around, period. Keep doing what you do. C0R/DaiAndOh/Fox/Biscuits/NobodyEXE - Thanks for helping me run brackets guys, especially C0R and Fox. Without you guys the tournament wouldn't have happened. I'm not even joking. I didn't expect that many entrants for each game, and you guys filled the gaps without hesitation. Stay godlike. I started to write individual shoutouts but I realized it would take me days to write down everything. To everyone that I met, played, chilled with: thank you for this experience. Jais - You get a special shoutout: STAY FUCKING GODLIKE. Thursday nights before NEC should become a thing, and so should staying till Monday. That is all.
