From what I've gathered it's gimp only, I tried it with photoshop and it worked just fine, so yeah, if someone has an explanation for this I'd be glad to hear.

There are two folders containing chararcter data, Char and Char_e. I've ripped es' sprites from both of those folders a few times and no extra sprites seem to be appearing, so I don't know what's wrong with that. Sorry
