I don't think any character has a 100% guaranteed escape from Gadget oki. The best you can do is force Tager to commit to less safe options to punish your wakeup option. Like we were just talking about before, GA backdash works to shut down 5A and throw so he has to 6A to punish. Once the Tager has been trained to not go straight to 5A/throw mixup off Gadget, you can start trying to guess when he's going to 6A and punish that, etc.

Wait Naoto 2[C] is 18f startup now what Isn't that move like +50 on block? How many characters can even poke out of a reset normal that fast? That would pretty much mean that for some characters with short R-Actions (i.e. most of them) your only option is to super, CA, or roll, which in turn means we're probably going to be seeing a LOT of Naoto FC punishes in the future. I guess that's cool, my biggest gripe with vanilla Naoto was lack of reliable ways to open the opponent up. -
Just play Jin and spam Icecar, it's pretty much safe now.

Also helps to make sure you're doing it off double orb 5C (B Orb > 5C > A Orb > 5C > 2DA) to get them as high as possible. As far as I can tell it's really hard/impossible to link dash 3C off a low 2DA, delaying may work although I haven't really extensively tried that. -
From what I've played of Noel so far, she seems a lot more solid than in Extend. Maybe less "hurr mash D to go through everything" like in CS2 but much more solid all around since she now has knockdowns off random pokes. It doesn't change her approach game per se but it does make it a bit more threatening since she can actually get a respectable knockdown off a max range 5B now, which in turn lets her play mid-range spacing a bit better. Her stagger pressure is still really good (2B being a neutral-on-block stagger tool that's pretty hard to read) and her drive is looking like sort of a respectable mixup now, albeit nothing super ambiguous. Speaking of which, I can probably figure this out myself but which moves frametrap what? I assume 4D and 214D are her anti-DP options but I dunno what her anti-mash options are.

You pretty much just do 5B > 236C if you're too far for 5C to connect.

I'd like to able to tell when it's going to cross up since I don't want to push them out of the corner by accident. I was wondering if there's a way to make it not cross up when I don't want it to.

Quick question, what controls whether 6A j.C j.D causes a crossup or not? Spacing seems to affect it but sometimes I still cross over when I'm pretty far. Am I supposed to delay j.C or something?

It should look like he's sliding forward slightly but you shouldn't actually see the dash animation. -
People in general are going to want to roll against Terumi because by now everyone knows he has very few answers to it. Ending your combos in Orochi/Fuuenjin and/or resets is really your best option for keeping pressure on, you should never end with Jagaku if possible.

RIP Haida Loop, it survived through three iterations of Blazblue but didn't survive the costume change. Is O. Noel banned on account of double astral?

Terumi gets wrecked by rolls pretty badly in general. I believe you can safejump off any Orochi or Fuuenjin ender in corner but you won't get much in the way of a punish if they just roll. His 2B isn't as good as Hazama's for catching rolls either so your best bet is probably just to mash 2A and hope they don't DP. I assume by tech traps you're referring to punishing rolls, etc. not specific resets like 6A > airthrow or something.
