  6. I wouldn't say that. We could technically go to Japan and play +R, and some of the people here have played. I'm sarcastically comparing the timeliness of game releasing in general to when we will play Xrd. Given that we've run out of things to speculate about for Xrd, now we're talking about Killer Instinct instead. A game that we will probably see much sooner.

  10. IAD TK? I'm no Baconator but I would figure it's IAD YZS FRC (since we are assuming that you're in the air with the IAD already and don't need to TK) but I most certainly could be wrong.
  11. Zappa sword rush; hands down. Not only does it depend on if it hits, it also depends on the distance the sword traveled to hit the opponent.

  19. Less pushback is what makes it easier, IIRC. I just feel the crouching opponent is easier to connect for some reason. Try it to see the difference.
  20. I look at the new Zappa script and I added some notes. One of the biggest things you'll have to rethink writing is while in AC the summon grants 3 orbs, in +R it's only one. So, there was a line talking about how you can FB->OTG summon for 4 orbs. That will only give you 2 in +R. There's a couple of other things, but there's all in parenthesis.
  21. Dog combos are generally all about precise timing and execution. One of the easier loops to practice is on a crouching opponent in the corner 5P, 2K, 5D, 66, 5P, 2K, 5D... You can generally get 3 good reps of that. The more advanced corner stuff makes you retreat the dog for a dive (4D+D) while continuing to attack. The idea here is to be stuck in an attack animation while hitting 4D so you don't move backwards, then hit D and time it to hit when you are too far away to attack. This will get the dog back in closer to the opponent. The midscreen stuff tends to get very situational. Some stuff will call you to use the 6D to hit the opponent and then hit D again while the dog flips backwards to lunge OVER the opponent as you attack. Then the dog will be on the other side as you push the opponent into it with your attacks. However an easy midscreen (also corner combo) is 2K, 5S+8D JC jK, jS JC+8D (basically double jump+D) jK, jS, 8D. The first 8D should allow time for the dog to recover enough to allow two 8D almost one after the other keeping the dog airborne.

  23. While I've done the bulk of updating the Zappa forums with the +R information / videos, I can only be hypothetical and recall other (Japanese) player's tactics, not from my own experience. A great deal of Zappa has changed (just look at the tier jump from AC to +R). I'm not saying I won't help by giving my input, I'm simply concerned about the accuracy of my knowledge not playing the game (+R) yet and only using information provided by third-parties.
