It's another Holy Grail that may as well become corrupted. Time will tell if the villains are going to try to do what Solomon does. Wipe out humanity in every timeline.

Sol's likely to be able to hang with Hakumen regardless of either actually trying their best. My doubts on Time-killer though. Hakumen kill his future time or something like that? I'm willing to bet Sol could say something like "My present self rejects that end of me thus imposing my will to make sure I continue existing here and now despite what the future says so. Cogito Ergo Sum, bitches!"

What makes you think Ragna losing control over the Azure Grimoire automatically equate to The Black Beast? Why shouldn't it just leave him a useless vegetable like in one of his Bad Endings in CS? It's not like Nu is helping him become the Black Beast in Death Battle, he has the body but not the heart. And what makes you think Sol can't take on the Black Beast. The only reason the Black Beast can't be fought properly at the time was because Ars Magus and Ars Armagus haven't been developed to combat it yet. Sol can already amplify magic with the Fireseal and he has been seen to be destroying whole swathes of land in destructive capacity alone. Or that city-sized Gear from the novel fallling from space that he blasted from the ground.

Can't use hypothetical max stats for either of them. We don't know 100% Sol, we don't know Ragna with full Azure on (Other than that one ending where he becomes a lump of immobile flesh) The best that they've been shown to do should be what's used. Otherwise we get into the whole weird powerscaling multipliers that DBZ gets which isn't useful at all when no feats support it.

Gear Project seems to have scenes of him drop kicking a massive airship and causing it to crash. And destroying a meteor-like Gear object in the same novel that had the Hydra Megadeath Gear. We know the nature of his opponents now though. Justice had a Gamma Ray that could devastate all of Japan and parts of Korea. Dizzy can bring down a fleet of airships with hers in the erased timeline. Sol can hang with them at the very least if not surpass them. My thoughts: Both Sol and Ragna get stronger the more they release whatever limits they have. But Ragna dies faster the more he uses the Azure just like that ending in Continuum Shift. Sol can simply keep piling on the damage. His soul is still somewhat protected thanks to That Man in Overture. He seems to have kept that when he wanted to take the fight with Justice in the Backyard in Xrd. Whatever Soul Eater can do, he'll have some form of resistance to it. He just needs to wait out Ragna while he piles on hits.

Giant Justice could just be another form that Justice had in the past during the Crusades but she uses the combat mech-like form most often? Original Valentine had like, 3 forms after all with the 2nd one being the most mechJustice-like.

Just waiting for the time that all of Ragna's newfound Social Links push him out of the way of some giant attack from Izanami, nearly succumbs to despair inside the Black Beast, then reawakens as Izanagi-no-Okami and uses Myriad Truths to push away Izanami's desire of a world of death away. She wants truth? He'll give her the truth, all of it. Or something, something, something.... blah blah...

Allies of convenience? Yep, still getting hit by my Warpstorm table. At least they ain't battle brothers. Would have been better being desperate allies though.

Die like Fate Archer did. He and Hakumen are pretty much doing the same things anyway... to a point. Saaaay..... Die buying time for other characters to escape (though Ragna pretty much does that already). Or die after sniping Terumi before he could take Ragna down with him. Or cut off his arm and transplant it to Ragna so he can use Ookami instead of the Blood Scythe. Possibilities are endless....

Here's a thought. Maybe Igniz was never actually that good of a person in the first place. Maybe she and Relius are more like the Eris family from the Legend of the Legendary Heroes. They don't care about the morality of stuff, just that it gets some results.
