For what it's worth, CS2 actually looks like a fun game. Like, it actually feels like stuff is happening.

AH3 general: Insert a nice slice of match footage after every 5-6 pages of "creamu~" filling. There's over an hour and a half of footage here.

I don't claim to know Ky that well (I pretty much just imitate stuff I see Ernest do), but wouldn't it be easier to input the 88 before even touching j.S? I'm pretty sure if you hit j.S at the peak of the double jump everything works out fine. Also, Ernest seems to think Anji isn't easy to play, to which I disagree, but then again I've been messing around with Anji for coming up on 2 years now. It's very possible (and highly likely) that after you play any character long enough they will seem easy to you. So, I don't really think it matters who you pick cause once you adjust everything works out fine.

It's hard to tell with Qwerty, he probably meant Blazblue. I have no interest in KoF13, but you know I'd be all over that AH3. I'm a little skeptical about importing it though, just because there are mild rumors circulating around an english port.

I don't think you need to be a technical wizard to effectively trick people. You just need some imagination. Millia is just KD combo to corner, delayed green disc for oki (purple if you got tension), then just make shit up. If they got hit, you do another double airdash combo and start over. (Let it be known, I don't think Millia is easy to play and I know that's quite an oversimplification of how she plays.)

Around 4:14 is where I quit Blazblue. Ernest, you should enter Norcal Install like this. Way better trolling than Bang.

I don't hate BB especially, but there are a few things about it that piss me off royal. Combo length is the big one. I think the longest regular combo I've seen in GG is Testament badlands loop, and even that doesn't feel that long. On the other side of the spectrum there's Litchi corner combos, Arakune curse combos with 2 supers, Noel double Chain Revolver combos, Ragna double Belial Edge, Taokaka tauntloop, and Hazama relaunch off the Big Bang Footer into another full combo. A good portion of those make me fall asleep. It's not even that fun learning those combos either, it feels too much like work and less like fun which is why I play in the first place. I don't know, BB has a lot of positives not the least of which is helping to reawaken the fighting game scene, but I need to see more positive changes and less 20+ second long combos off of random hits before I'll get really interested again. This ain't Tekken.

We're only playing on Windows 95 computers. The only game we will be having is Virtual On: Cyber Troopers, it will be 2 people to a keyboard. We'll ask that everybody brings their own supply of brown tang.

Really? The more I play against Magz, the more I feel the matchup is actually beatable, just out of favor. Also, I wasn't talking about trouble with Qwerty. I know I made a lot of dumb decisions in that match (even though I barely won), but what I really needed to see was my match against Tenkai. I feel like I got taken apart completely, and I hate feeling that retardedly free in any match. And, to be honest, I'm still not 100% sure how to get in effectively in that match. Johnny actually gives me some issues, no joke. At least with Slayer, I know exactly what I did wrong. It's harder to gauge that with Johnny. Serious talk here.

Yeah, and guess what all three of those characters have a hard time with? Blocking. I think in a game like Dissidia, traps and footsies are a hell of a lot more solid than actual combos. And this is coming from someone who mains Zidane. I'm kind of predicting the assist system to end up with "OMG Squall is so broken" coming form all the retards. It seems like an interesting system, and I have no problems with it, but it will sufficiently screw with tier lists to the maximum.

Probably should have been clearer. "Why don't we have matches that hype in Norcal?" would've been more appropriate. I think the closest I've seen recently is Kijiyama vs Tenkai in that off the wall Chipp vs Johnny match a couple months ago. 2 gold bursts and 3 supers in the first 14 seconds? Yeah, that's nuts. I'm not saying that's an especially skillful match, but most us there aren't going to forget it. I just saw baiting lightning clash counter with a same place teleport and pulling off two level 3 supers (one off a full screen counter teleport) in the same match. And two matches after that, I saw guard cancel forward through a super for a beefy combo and winning by going from low clash to super in the final round. It just doesn't seem like we get enough super hype matches down here.

Why don't we play games this hype at Norcal?

I like the rotational matches as an idea. I'll see if I can drag down a car full of max level scrubs at the next NCI (assuming we have one in December). Those fuckers need to make a job advancement if you know what I meSTAY FREE DACID! Also, any carpool with Crosell in it will probably be called Tailbait.

To Spirit Juice: Dammit man, I ain't lazy. I used to drive at least an hour each way for every NCI up until we moved to SJSU. I know we have at least a few people in the community that could make the drive, it's just inconvenient as fuck for most of us. GET CLOSER TO US.
