  1. I can't really seem to get enough knockdowns with Fiona for snowflake oki to matter. I think I'll start practicing Tone as a substitutable Arcana, although I'm maining Ice regardless.
  2. Kira's annoying to deal with. Fiona (Ice) worked out way better than expected though. This game's amazing.
  3. Gotta stop getting blown up by Ernest and Johnny.
  4. Couldn't they tech before the H hits?
  5. I think you can actually score more damage on that air combo by making it j.KS, dj. PKSD. There might be a couple character you can just cut P out with. Since j.P sends the proration into an undesirable zone, you can get more damage by trying to restrict it as much as possible (and leave it as late as you can).
  6. Saturday has suddenly become a day to dream about mashing Guilty. Sorry Rod, family issues. Maybe next time.
  7. I don't know how much of this is messing around or you being serious, but I recommend you cut down on your meter usage a tad. It's not as freely available as it seems, and blowing 3 meters to slightly enhance the damage you can get from only spending 1 meter doesn't seem safe.
  8. I hear Saturday is a day for mashing Guilty. What time?
  9. Practice, mostly. I know in the first game after any one of his brave attacks there is a point where you will see a little red flash come off him. You need to hit it at that exact time.
  10. First to 15 for 15k, that's ridiculous. I don't even like Marvel and that was amazing.
  11. Well, here's what I've seen: Double Blue = No problem Blue, then Red = Possible But I've also seen Red, then Blue. So, I'd imagine if that combination is possible, then Double Red should be possible too. To which I'd ask, why the hell bother? Double Red means 50% tension and still only one actual unblockable setup. Blue then Red is fine, Double Blue is still fancy, but any combination other than those seems like a waste.
  12. I got mine to work. Now I just need to figure out how to play.... EDIT: Okay, no seriously, how the fuck do you play this? Does this game have gatlings at all? Combos? Am I just playing good Street Fighter?
  13. Which file? The Application? I tried that and it didn't work.
  14. Downloaded game, opened it. Window closed as soon as it opened. Can't get it to work. What's up with that?
  15. Guard Point Frames do need to be studied to make use of them. However, they only need to be studied for about 15-25 minutes ever. They don't need to be studied so much, but they definitely do need to be practiced. The more time you put into them, the better you will be with them. Any of Fuujin's followups are bad when Fuujin is blocked, so you need to get creative. You do not have throw priority on K followup, so if your opponent reads you, expect to be thrown. I would use the other followups more so that the K followup is less expected, and don't forget about the often underused followup: Nothing. If Fuujin gets blocked, your opponent is pretty much waiting to see what you will do and punish you for it, but by doing nothing you usually avoid getting punished. You can use the Nothing followup to condition your opponent not to expect followups, and surprise them with S or D followups out of nowhere. Also, S followup has an FRC which when used can make that move a ton safer. Fuujin is easy when it hits. Learning how to deal with a blocked Fuujin will get you good real fast.
  16. I've been waiting for that to release for a long time. I can't just listen to Morning Thinker on loop all day.
  17. I hope she plays like some kind of crazy Zappa.
  18. So we've been doing these crazy late night video games at NCI or a while now (We've had shit like Shaq-Fu, Fate/Unlimited Codes, We Love Katamari, and I think last night was River City Ransom). What are we doing next time? World Heroes? Virtual-On? House of the Dead? I vote Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary myself, but what other weird shit we got?
  19. A new challenger enters the ring.
  20. The most reliable thing I'm working with is 2A>2B>2C(1st hit)>214C. Basic three hit combo with knockdown, ends with max range seagull for oki. If you must have damage, replace 214C with 236B, they will land into the mirror as they are falling but they can tech.
