  2. I had no idea what I was doing when I played the demo and was still having loads of fun. Don't even care that it's still likely going to be shit for competitive play.

  4. Now's a good time to fix that since the anime adaptation is pretty sweet. Right now all I can look forward to is seeing Jonathan and some other part 1 character(s) to be revealed.
  5. After finally getting around to playing this game it is apparent to me now that Examu is the best FG developer out there. The execution is way harder than I was expecting too, lmao.
  6. I didn't know these games had sequels planned out. Did the anime ending of Utawarerumono leave out a sequel hook in the original game? looks to me like the story was wrapped up pretty nicely. (Silly as it was)
  7. Hope this gets a PS3/360 release too! just not before Darius Burst Another Chronicle. Also, going to main either Wendy or Keith, who I imagine will be the most popular characters among the people playing.
  8. Specifically, what I'm looking for is the comeback mechanic found in GG1, AP and P4A. It's probably my favorite feature from those games and I'm sad that they're not used very often, because they're pretty dang cool as far as hand-holding goes. Anyone willing to point some out to me?

  10. I was thinking another fighter would be along soon considering its already been 3 years since the last one. I don't have a favorite 2hu so my only wishes go improving the gameplay, in particular, the damage output.
  11. Good lord Kliff can dash straight through Stun Edge? I refuse to believe that was intentional. Reflex Roar hitting full screen is news to me too, but I'm more accepting of that. Also, I just noticed that Axl's movement seems quite a bit faster; back dash goes farther and running has less acceleration.

  15. If they're willing to patch the game, let them hear everything that sucks about it. I don't see why you should allow it to continue sucking just because it's the first.

  17. I don't think the super inputs are that bad. Buffering stuff is pretty easy thanks to hit stun being rather generous.
  18. Time release characters are the dumbest thing ever. What do arcade developers have against boss characters being readily available from the start anyway. I wonder how many patches they'll have to apply before it's ready for the console port; it looks like they have a bit a work ahead of them.

  20. I feel the same way, but I don't know how long exactly that appeal will last for me. Also, based on that one Venom fight I still can't help but feel that she'll end up with some really stupid matchups sometime in the future. I'll definitely give her a try though, especially if I can't adjust to the new Testament. >_>
  21. Well there's that too, but I just want to see other features make a comeback to reminiscence about the game they're trying to emulate. For example, P4A brought back air turning + chaos mode and enhanced them in the exact same way I'd imagine those two mechanics would be if they were ever brought back to GG, and gave dust a new direction. Hell, I'd be happy to even see FDC and crazy OTG combos make a return in a drastically watered down fashion.
  22. Am I the only one who feels that Instant Kills have lost their appeal? It seems to me the feature is just being shoehorned in because no one can think of any other memorable features (somehow) that bring Guilty Gear to mind when you play the game.

  24. Valkyrie Ark no longer works on lows, that's what's changed from AC+. It also appears to have a lot less active frames. (naturally)
