There is a small BB, GG, and SSFIV scene in Shepherdsville, Kentucky (10 minutes outside of Louisville) rising up again. We are about 8 strong now, so we would definitely help back this. If possible though, we should definitely try and support AL. The owner is legit, and it's a sweet place. There aren't many arcades left, so we need to support the ones we have. We are currently trying to find a venue to run ranbats ourselves. Would the venue you're reserving be a one time thing? Or would it be possible to use it bi-weekly, or possibly weekly for hosting games?

Sounds good, I figured the timing window for it would be tight on Saturdays. If you ever want to get some casual going hit me up. I'm always down for some games.

Meh, it's looking kind of unlikely. I would like to arrange some sort of weekly gathering though. Having an active local scene would be amazing. If anyone is interested just pm me or post in here and I'll figure something out.

Good shit! Thanks for hosting this up, Josh. It was cool meeting everyone, you guys are pretty chill. I would definitely be interested in coming routinely if this ended up turning into a weekly event. All in all though, the tournament ran smoothly. Kudos.

I'm all over this, I have been waiting for some games for a dick year. All I have is a 360 stick though, so I can't really contribute to the system count. I can probably round up a few other locals to bring as well. Any idea what the turn out is looking like so far?

As long as the money is there I will be there.

Recent nico upload, four days ago. This zappa (Chonari) administered a pretty sick beat down, he loves the punch button way to much though.....the proration makes me sick. His play style is hectic though, very interesting to say the least. He starts playing in the second match. I have a really nice little group around me, we play 2-3 times a week. We are actually hitting up a ranbat in Ohio this weekend. I will be repping zappa like mad!

You can pressure Baiken.....you just have to force her to do what you want. 2k is pretty much the key to pressuring Baiken in my opinion. It is a long, fast poke that gives you a few options. Not to mention if you do 2d after 2k it limits Baiken's option because that will stuff sakura and give you a CH. That only really leaves her with ouren, in which you can air grab. As well as yoshijin, which you can block, then run in and get a free summon or combo. I mean Baiken is going to block, she wants a counter. Just tick throw the hell out of her and force her to block with 2k. Throwing in a random running 5d never hurt. Besides that, just sit tight and poke as you said before. In general though I just poke until I get a health advantage and just sit there and poke the hell out of her. It is kind of dumb to go offensive on Baiken to begin with due to her counters.....that is just usually how I got about it if I am forced to.
