  1. Okay, i spent alot of time this weekend really working on pumping out some dog combo's to be ablel to post up and this is what i've came up with. no tension: 2p2k 5d 2p2k c.s 6d 6hs 6d This combo does about 110 dmg on average and can be started with the jumping hs for about an extra 10-20 and a very nice mix up. Not to mention it leads into your unblockable set up. Yum, orb candy. ch or crouching 50% tension: c.s 2hs(RC) 5d 2p2k c.s 6d 6hs 6d This combo will wreck your opponent if you manage to pull it off. It does an average of 200 dmg, not to mention the fact that it pushes them so far that they get ran right into a corner and are thrown right into your choice of unblockable yet again. I just found these out fiddling around in practice mode for countless hours and pulled the first one off in a match, the second one though is just really situational but if the opportunity arises the wtf moment is priceless. Please tweak these to your hearts content and lets crank these beasts out to their max potential.
  2. I'm not sure where there are any posted, but i played him at Morehead and he did sick at Final Round and everyone says he is pretty fricken awesome. I played him and he was solid and wrecked me all day long so i would definitely check him out. See if they have the most recent final round videos posted up, there should be several in there.
  3. ahh i see, so im assuming that i could also throw out some really tight blockstrings with the dogs 5d correct? I'm throwing in a ton of matches today against that pesky baiken so hopefully i leave him shaking in his boots.
  4. Jack G/Wekk is a monster!
  5. Thanks for the info zoogstin, you've been a great help. I owe you one.
  6. Dangief: I'm sorry to hear that man, its no problem at all though. Life comes first.
  7. Sorry for the double post guys but im burning some serious training in with my dog right now and im just curious what the best combos are to maximize my damage while using the 5d pressure strings with the dog. No need to get down any gimp combos.
  8. Thank you so much for the info on the sword! It is by far my best summon and i really needed some help on that one the most. all i did was basically 2s and 41236hs all day but knowing that the 634hs can counter through her counters that will seriously help my sword game. As for raoh that is seriously useful to know that i have the frame advantage for the 5d, he is terrible at blocking mix ups so im sure i can pull that one on him. Thanks for the info zoogstin, you are very wise. This should seriously help me against those dreaded counters.
  9. damn thats no good, im up for traveling but just whoa. I think thats a bit to far for me.
  10. Okay, one of the local players in my crew plays baiken and he loves to just sit there the whole match after poking you one time and just sitting there. He has the patience of a fucking saint and its wierd, he waits for me to come in and than procedes with the counter, gotta love that right? I usually try and bait his counters than summon on him so he doesn't end up landing a blow because that always leads to me getting dustlooped. What are some stratagies to go on the offensive on the Baiken when need be? I know its an awful idea but it almost seems the be necessary on this guy. I f.s all day long and than proceed for the instant raoh but thats all ive got besides throwing him all day long and setting up pressure strings and unblockables with my dog. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Oh yeah that does make alot more sense actually. I guess i need to learn different variations of that due to the match ups than, i keep over looking the fact of how complex Guilty Gear can get. Thats probobally why it is hands down my favorite fighter of all time. Sadly i don't get to get out and play anyone but the local crew we have here so my insight on match-ups is rather lacking.
  12. haha thats really interesting, i love zappa, all of his combos involving the dog really make me think and i love it. that combo is really nice, it did nice damage and seemed to be very versatile, sadly the timing on that combo has be ridiculously precise. I guess it makes it all the more rewarding though if i can manage to get it down. Haha yeah, Eki knows best.
  13. yous a gay nigga

  14. ahh i see, i love to end my combo with the dog with 2d 2hs than following up with an 8d and the than i aerial. ^.^ it seems to be rather effective, its good to know someone else feels the same way.
  15. ahh i thought so, can you just do the combo one time or is it repeatable? mhmm i sure do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X9UoLrrFz8 check it out, its early on 0:14-0:20 i got the basic idea from there but he doesnt combo his 2 hs and his 2d, prob bc i found out it prorates, lol
  16. that is possible, as of now i have Jakarta (morgan) at my house and we are about to play a ton of matches and im about to try it out. i have yet to do it in a match yet, but there is a video of eki-chan pulling this move off in a match and it seemed pretty legit. I will definitely post back and try to confirm if i can do this on Jakarta though. ahh i see, ill try that out and see if the damage is better one way or another. Is that a personal preference though or is it just a better way to do it? Also, the basic air combo is k s correct? than catch with 8d?
  17. actually it can be used as either, if they block the first part of the combo just start the 2d and than just do c.s f.s while its charging.
  18. Well sadly i reside in the all to friendly state of Kentucky, but im always up for traveling.
  19. Hey guys, this morning when ever i was messing around with my triplet combos i decided to just burn through my combos a few times and accidentally hit an interesting catch with the dog that i found very interesting and rather effective as well. it has several different set ups and is very versatile, so i thought it would be really cool to see everyones variation of it. :yaay: the basic set up for the combo it: 2p2k 5d 2p2k 2d 2s 5hs 5s (in corner) the 2d should be executed directly before the 2s so it will chain and allow the 2hs to hit and combo. The timing is very awkward in my opinion due to the wind up on the 2d but i thought it was really cool. Not to mention you can make this stream unblockable if you can get the dog facing away from the corner, just like the unblockable set up, and turn this into your stream by throwing out a 5s to slip stagger them than 5d to cach them and than begin the combo. The combo ends up doing about 100 dmg and considering its fairly easy to pull of and has many different ways to actually lead into it i thought it was quite good and even stronger than the basic loop. I hope some of you guys find this as interesting as i did. :yaaay
  20. ah ok, im guessing the 5p's prorate the combo and nerf the damage im guessing? Regardless, what do you recomend throwing into the mix up besides 5p? I'm about to go mess around with that combo and see what i can come up with but i always like to hear everyones input when it comes to combos.
  21. yeah, pretty much my main centipede combo is 5p5p5p c.s f.s 5hs 236k (for some reason im not thinking thats the right direction atm XD) than i frc the throw and repeat and hope for ping pong balls and potted plants and just loop it. Than if they're against the wall i usually throw out 5p5p5s j5hs to keep on some sick pressure and alternate between the one previously posted and that. If ^ that one lands i will than proceed to do 5p5k c.s than j.i. p d. are those pretty solid or are their better combos to use or ways to improve them? sorry if im asking alot of question, im trying to get these threads bumpin! Spread some zappa love.
  22. ahhhh i see, than it seems that i guess im playing them right for the most part, pretty much my main style with the ghosts is controlling the field and pressuring them into the corner. Thanks Dangief.
  23. Hey guys. :] I've never posted in the combo thread before, but mainly i stream tons of sword combos and know several dog pressure strings. I feel pretty confident with those two summons as well as raoh, but sadly my triplets are seriously lacking. I was just woundering if someone could hook me up with a few combos or some advice for stringing them. I already know the pressure string and a few lifts that deal around 100damage but i'm not satisfied with that. XD any advice or combos would be greatly appreciated.
  24. haha, im always down for traveling because where i go several of my friends usually come as well. The shepherdsville crew rolls in packs. XD Actually though im already planning on heading down to Them Vs Us and was insanely hyped to actually see another zappa that was going to be there. :] I've watched several of your matches on youtube and am pretty hyped to see you in action.
  25. Hey guys. :] The names justin and i rock out zappa in Kentucky and im always up for throwing in some casuals. :] Just thought i would put myself on the map. XD
