  2. BTW how can that guy attack after he does a JH? Usually JH has a delay.
  3. Hey guys, I was wondering if a post has been posted regarding air combos on characters with different weights (1.00, 1.10, 0.98 etc...). I can't seem to find one on search.

    I tried it a couple of times and I remember it didn't work, I could be wrong though - I'll try it again. What are your suggestion on getting close to him?

    Shit this match was hard. I played for the first time today against an Axl player and I crapped cubes. I'm playing with a pad so I can't wavedash and it's hard as hell to cover ground quickly against him. I couldn't get close, only sometimes with a super jump I could manage to sneak in. I thought a MFMLV1 would beat his 5P but it doesn't.
  7. Ammm interesting thing I realised... If I just jump and perform Ensenga and than RC, the AD is a piece of cake. Every time I add a hit before the Ensenga it becomes more difficult to AD it after RC. Performing a throw>j.S>Ensenga RC>AD will probably give you 100% chance to nail the AD, but throw>j.K>j.S>j.D>Ensenga RC>AD will most likely fail. Likewise, when you pressure an enemy and you perform jump>j.S/j.HS/j.K (either one of them)>Ensenga RC>AD it also has 100% chance to succeed. BTW, the AD can be replaced with a jump (which is also possible after a RC) and my exmaples still stand. after short combos the AD/jump is more doable.
  8. Damn that's tricky... I pulled it off a couple of times but only after throw>j.K>j.S>Ensenga RC (and even then it wasn't always). On longer air combos johnny just fell like rock. On the short combo I listed above I just counted to 1 after the RC and pressed 66. When I go for higher air combos it never works.
  9. Thanks for the replies. About what you said Xaphiel, I almost always try to airdash after an RC'd Ensenga yet it never works, JO always falls. Thanks for the inputs BTW.
  10. I accidentaly performed an air combo with an RC'd Ensenga today, and it managed to connect only the 1-hit. That got me wondering, is it worth anything? Obviously it's easier to execute. BTW, with no relation to what I said above, what are the uses of an RC'd Ensenga? I always see it on videos. My guess is that it's just to keep safe since the Ensenga takes time to recover.

The only thread I found elaborating on 1-hit is this: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4131 BTW, I pulled of a throw>j.K>j.S>j.D>Enkasu on Baiken a few times (not in a row), kinda difficult since if you delay too much, johnny just falls quickly after the j.D. I gotta get me an arcade stick... I'm starting to get the impression that Johnny is prefered with a stick and a Dualshock doesn't do him justice.

  14. That's so strange, I'm doing exactly what Nattak showed on his video on Ky, the same combo yet I dont get 1-hit (and that's just the easy difficulty level). Even in the most basic combos like throw>j.K>j.S>j.D>Ensenga I get only the 2nd strike to hit. Does anyone know what is it I am doing wrong?
  15. Interesting... why is this? my guess is that I need to be closer to the opponent (If I'm not mistaken the 2nd strike of the Ensenga is higher) thanks for the quick reply btw.
  16. Hey guys... there's something I don't quite get. I know that Enkasu shouldn't set the opponent on fire yet when I'm in training mode and I do the 1-hit combos the hit indicator says only 1 strike of the Ensenga connected yet my opponent IS set on fire anyway. Could it be that ONLY the 2nd strike of the Ensenga connects and the 1st whiffs? is that even possible? Thanks.

Indeed you are right I should've posted a feedback to my last question with the two slashes but I dropped it for a while and forgot about it. thx for you reply about the MF lv2, 5P does work sometimes but I think the opponent can tech out after it so it's not efficient. The cross up with the j.k does work but it takes a bit of timing to pull of, nothing a training can't fix. BTW, I successfully pulled off a RC'd air combo today, sometimes I pulled off a FRC but not too often. I've noticed there wasn't any difference between the specific combo I did with a FRC and RC, I don't know if it's because of the combo or not, but DOES it matter? (besides the less tension needed issue) because I only see FRC in the combos' inputs posted here. thx
  18. After a LMF lvl 2, when the opponent is flying over Johnny's head there is sometimes a confusion about which side johnny faces. What do you suggest to do after a LMF lvl2? I usually just use P and then enter an air combo, but the P doesn't connect every time, sometimes johnny hits the P to the wrong direction.
  19. How can u do 2 S in a row without a P or a K between them?
  20. No one enswered me yet. And I have some other questions... 1. I saw on videos players performing an Ensunga really close to the ground almost instantly, how is this done? 2. I pulled off "off the ground" divine blade and KJ, is it done by pressing 21478S and 23698S?
  21. I tried omitting the j.P and even tried the combo on POT but the j.H still doesn't connect.
  22. The j.S after the FRC works, and I have another question... In this input: Throw->j.K->j.P->j.S->dj.K->j.S->j.H->j.D->Ensenga(1) everything is fine up until the j.H, by the time I get to this part of the combo Johnny is under the opponent in the air, and j.H doesn't hit. What am I doing wrong?
  23. So just spam j.S after the FRC? and btw, what do dj.S, KJ, PSSH, KSSH and KPSSH mean? Is there a Johnny input legend here somewhere?
  24. Hey guys, I'm kinda new here and I can't seem to pull off a combo with a FRC'd 214S. after I FRC the move (or just RC it) Johnny just falls down quickly without giving a chance to continue the air combo. Do you know what is it I am doing wrong? thanks.
