  1. Tried Hazama last night when CP just came out. Indeed, jC mash combo is not that easy as it looks like in YouTube. If you mash jC in a way how you used to do in prior games, you would most likely to drop. I find his combos are pretty challenging to learn until you get used to it.
  2. Does anyone know how fast 5C is and how much invincibility 2C has?
  3. I don't know if anybody has discussed about this officially. I tried but I really have hard time doing corner loop. (5C - 2C - Dive kick) x n. Any special technique required beyond the 2147 tk thing what we already know of?
  4. I got a chance to play CSE Hazama. I didn't see whole a lot of differences compare to CS2, but here are few of the easily noticeable changes. 1. Jakou: way more recovery time now. I had hard time catching up with 5C after this at the corner. 2. Corner dive kick loop: It's not easy to do. You should delay dive kick as late as possible so you can connect to the 5C. Easier than CS2 to do anyway. 3. Chain: has less hit stun but you can still easily do the followup combo. Just need a better hit confirm reaction. It cancels to another chain way faster. It's quite hard to come back to play CS2 Haz after playing CSE due to this change. I felt like overall playstyle was same as CS2. Only he doesn't have mid-screen relaunch combo anymore and his corner combos are quite different. He has better zoning so it was much comfortable to play with.

  7. In CS2, 2C > 6A > BBL does around 2.8k. Followup combo takes significant portion of the overall 5K dmg. They only nerfed Cat Chair, no change on BBL I believe. Anyway, here are the info I got from BBS - 6B: no more jump cancellable - 6B: on counter hit, you can do follow up combo really easily. Hit confirm is also easy too. but if your opponent is too far away from the wall (like you hit 6B when you're cornered), it doesn't wall bound but just slide down. - Poll BBL : no change. 1 poll full dmg 456. 2 poll full dmg 846 - J2C > Iris : this combo works only at High Jump Aerial. If you're not high enough, opponent would recover before Iris comes out. - 6A > 5B> JB > JA > JB > JC > (jc) > J2C > Iris > 5B > JC > 2D > JC > BBL = around 3K - Cat Chair > BBL > Frog > 3C > B Lobelia > 5B > JC > J2C (lvl 2) > B Lobelia > JC > JC > Iris > BBL = 4600 Assuming this 4600 dmg combo is correct, my guess for the cat chair data is Damage around 700, P1 70%, P2 85%.

  9. Dash 3C is really powerful tool to beat up Rachel's seed+pumpkin zoning. At the mid or far range, your dash 3C can beat up all Rachel's seeds, except no wind A seed. You should be cautious on using many of your mixups; 2A - 5B, Overhead thing (maybe 6B?), voltex (6D or 5D). Cat chair destroys all your mixups and leads 5k dmg.
  10. you should give us more specific situations when 5cc messes up. If you follow the combo lists in this forum appropriately (assuming not CS1 combo), it should work.

  12. agreed on 3C, but I don't consider jabaki as a considerable option for midrange.
  13. since it looks cool. that's the only reason. For the meter gain and corner carry purpose, the well-known combo 6CD - JC - 5B - 6CD better works. I believe 6C is completely useless now. The only time you may want to use 6C is... when the combo begins with crouching hit and carry your opponent to the corner.

  15. It looks like they wanted to make Slash but ended up making Accident Core There is no trash char but ridiculously strong chars make this game joke. It might have been much improved balancewise tho..
  16. Perhaps: 214a > 5cc > SJC8d > lvl 3 blah blah (only at corner) I believe frog doesn't even need for this combo.. Doesn't it even make overall combo damage lower with crazy proration?
  17. I feel honored you made your first post on dustloop to reply my message. sounds like his hakumen is unlike his hazama. but does it have any impact on my evaluation of his hazama?

  19. TD itself doesn't have any impact on the wind regen. Rachel is still at the ground while the stuffs are coming (it looks like she's in the air tho). so when you use TD after staying at the ground long enough frames to get wind regen acceleration, you get full winds back pretty quick.
  20. Yeah, now Hakumen's 2C makes Fumajin correctly.
