In that case, I might as well just name the game "Poverty fighter" and have the characters be different types of poor people, like schizophrenic vet, artificially poor student, and welfare mom. Stages could include the unemployment line, soup kitchen, and a very meta training stage called "recession-era economy".

I want to do a new gaming project, but to do a poverty fighter I'd need sprite artists, and sprite art is one of the most masochistic forms of game art possible.

The worst part about the chronicle of fail known as the BB series is that BB:CT was so easy to balance. I honestly think there was some sort of internal rationalization that required Arcsys to decide to over-work from BB:CT to BB:CS, like how gov't contractors try to use up all the money in a contract by any means else on the next contract year they'll be given less money. "Lets do some unnecessary shit to keep ourselves busy" or something. Problem is, Arcsys isn't a gov't contractor...

I think I like this game more than normal BB. It looks like combos are difficult. If the damage scaling was fixed, as well as the potential for infinites, and as long as bar generation rates are normal, then it would be the game I expected BB to be originally.

So there will be plain "Unlimited Character" mode in the new iteration of BB:Continuous Shit? Is it me or do the unlimited characters seem more balanced than the normal ones?

I actually would really like BB to get to the point where I can play it again, because in terms of fighting games I am playing nothing. But I do still play Demon's Souls, and Mount and Blade, although most of my time recently has been spent starting another project, so hopefully soon most of my playing of anything will come in the form of play testing.

I am but a humble colored child. When have I ever been arrogant or elitist? My sig was from some troll thread awhile back about character ratios in BB:CS. It's stupid because the guy who said it doesn't understand that the resolution through which the difference between numbers is represented can be changed arbitrarily without the loss of data. For example, you could have that ratio chart with numbers from 0 to 10 that includes half values in decimal (.5), or you could just have a chart from 1 to 100 without decimal values, and have greater precision with that set of integers. Or you could just use 0 to 20, and have the same amount of precision as 0 to 10 with half values. The quote was what represented what was wrong with that entire thread. It's the sort of thing that causes someone who can answer "how many numbers are between 0 and 1" correctly to lose faith in humanity.

Skyline was a horrible movie with good ideas. If they had started the movie at around where it ended, it likely would have been better.

Amatsu castle wasn't even in the game when I started my swordgirl on Loki. I logged somewhat recently, like maybe half a year ago. The game's kinda dumb now, without botting.

Griefing in RO was so much fun. Trains in Glast Heim Graveyard were the best way of dealing with annoying acolyte hordes, and hording zombies at spawn points in that Payon cave or whatever was a good way of keeping out the spell spamming riffraff from one's lvling experience.

I came to this thread after reading about it on the Jersey thread. Honestly, I came here to see if there was any trolling I could do to support the cause. I regret my decision.
