So far, DS is my favorite 3rd person fantasy action game. It feels like when I first played LttP, except with less progression due to the unforgiving nature of the game. Playing it gives me ideas on how to improve the system.

I was actually planning on this being my 2nd PS3 game purchase.

Oddly enough, I find tabletop Warhammer and Warhammer 40k to be the most interesting games in the franchise. Maybe you should build an army, Ian?

I know now why Demon's Souls is considered hard. The enemies can be nintendo hard (a good thing), but the world memory, unless you kill a boss or a dragon or something, is that nintendo 128k or whatever it was (very very stupid).

I mean more like fighting a red-eyed knight because you think you're badass from killing all those crossbowmen and pikemen, and not caring when he one-hits you because you can respawn at the beginning of the level and collect more souls...

You know, you can tell a game is good when it continues to be fun at points when it should be frustrating.

I stopped playing.

You could turn that difficulty setting to max in training, and set the dummy to CPU, and give it infinite max bar. Granted, it might not be realistic, esp. with that bar, but it's more random than playing back combos and defending against them.

I feel sorry for you, Eric. I don't want to even hear about the mosque issue any more. I wonder if all these people would be complaining if someone was building a church in the same location. Probably not, because religious conservatives tend to be hypocrites. If I thought the majority of yelling was due to the fact that any sort of religious building was being built in the area, I would agree to that because all religions are equally stupid, but I'm sure there wouldn't be all this sub-prime intellect rage in that scenario.

I ain't even gonna lie. Shit looks like something done around the Charles North Arts and Entertainment District in Bmore. That crowd looks like the sets I see at Depot, Club Charles, and The Windup Space. Kenji knows what I mean. Crazy ass MICA girls do this sort of thing. This is my new favorite video. I am shocked and appalled, sir. I am neither arrogant nor condescending in my interactions with humanity. Ever notice how when I come out more often, I'm usually on a job hunt? I've traded speaking to you all in person with speaking with you all through the internet, because I'd rather talk to you all while getting paid for it, rather than living up the sad life at Denny's at 1am.

I think one of the issues with trash talk is that it just seems really offensive to people who don't do it. At least from my POV, I haven't really trash talked as much as I probably should have. I've done this because people have tended to think I have issues with humility, so random trash talk comes off, in my opinion, as just being overly arrogant. If one restrains from trash talk to avoid something negative, it's understandable that a trash talker might come off in that negative way to the player, given how that player interprets trash talk.

I think everyone already knows how press operates, A-Bomb. It's just that everyone ignores it. You just have to not care about obvious trolling, or unfounded statements by people who have a history of operating in such a fashion.

Does WGC Ultimate Gamer take itself seriously? It honestly seems to me the gameshow's subtitle should be "the last time to make your life sorta relevant".

Hey guys, less posts about thinly veiled fighter references disguised with food analogs, and more trolling about things that don't matter. Long, substantive troll posts are more entertaining.

The problem with trolling is that it has collateral damage. If you're reading it, you're trying to tell who's telling the truth. When you being trolled (at least, for me), and you speak the truth, you wonder if people believe you. I've found that it helps to always be right...
