The crow is a succubus that is in a crow form most of the time. Testament must curse his opponents before the crow can attack them. To do this he must hit them with his phantom skull attack. The phantom skull has two versions a punch version that stays near the ground performed by inputting 236P and kick version that travels up high performed by inputting 236K. Once cursed the opponent has a pink circle on them the crow begins attacking until Testament is hit or it wears off. The punch version last for 10 seconds and the kick version last for 17 seconds. The crow attacks with four different attacks in four different patterns. I copied the patterns from the Testament thread. L = Low, H = High, S = Schythe, F = Feathers. Brackets are kick-curse extensions. 1: L L S F H (L S S) 2: F S L H H (L S F F) 3: H F L S F (S H L S) 4: S S H F F (L H H)

Thanks guys. I had heard that before but it had slipped my mind. I was over complicating things thinking about one frame jump out of pressure strings with instant block and on wake up. I forgot about the dust cloud thing. Thanks.

What are some good methods for practicing one frame jump and confirming that you got it right?

Testament would stay strong from poison, good throw combos, and strong oki. I think Potemkin would be the strongest with slashback into potemkin busters and his oki is strong after the knockdown.

Having an EX only character tournament on the side could be fun and pleasant diversion. It would not help your professional Guilty Gear career out, but it could be amusing like HNK or Sengoku Basara X. The lack of an arcade standard and a small community are definitely detrimental to a potential EX scene. I vote EX Testament as being broken. The power to auto warrant from anywhere and combo into poison for free are just incomprehensible. EX Johnny is a sad man with no mist finer and a catch that can be baited easy.

If you can get a strong team ahead of time for Tokyo, you can get a strong team for Niigata. You will just have to convince them to try Niigata. If comes down to picking them up at the tourney, you have about as good a chance at either playing casuals before the tournament, but I would imagine there would more players not making it leaving open spots in Niigata. Your chances are better for getting a spot in Niigata since there is no need to fight Ogawa's team in the final. This is it. Take them down and enjoy the concert.

You mean the extra menu in training mode? You have to beat all the missions in mission mode. There 30 of them. The last 5 unlock after you beat the first 25. It lets you add all the crazy buffs you get in survival mode like more attack and chaos roman cancels and more.

So why do you use 6R for oki? Is it to confuse and throw off timing. I see that it causes Faust to suddenly change location from standing to low profile with 2P and to off the ground with 236S. Is it just a bait or are there other reasons to use it?

I think it has to do with "Badlands" being called "ballands" a couple post back. @ansem: The start for the loop is different for each character due to hit box and weight. Hitting later is better on light characters. Sooner is better on heavier characters. ABA is heavy so hitting sooner is better. Lights were my bane for a while. Maybe you are the same with heavys.

I have a HRAP3 and PS3. 8 randomly fires on mine too. It does not seem to matter what game is in there. I think it is a bad ground. I will check more thoroughly later. I am handy with that sort of thing. I am tied up until Monday though.
