It's all a matter of personal drive. When I want to level up, I hit places with top players so I can learn from them. If you want to get better at anything in life, you have to seek the places you need to get better. The community is comprised of individuals that want to hone their skills at their respective games. If there isn't enough support for said niches, then their interest in the host fades. tl;dr; Focus on what games are important to the community. If there is no scene for their games, people will look elsewhere. Edit: I'm making plans to get to NEC. Who needs a roommate?
