You have to do j.D whiff>2B>collider on that squirrel tailed hood rat. She doesn't get hit by the 2C at all because she has what I called a fucked hitbox. There is a much worse word to use but I think that is the best way to explain it. Thankfully you don't need to do a microwalk for 360>collider to work so landing a grab on her is really rewarding.

The 5D sucks them in hella close and sledge pushes you point blank so it should work on everyone. Of course I can be wrong and you know, me being wrong is pretty common. In fact I can record it on camera if you like.

Actually it really depends on what you want, if you want to be close up for whatever reason then do your usual thing. If you want to be at a slight distance then you can just do j.D whiff instead. I don't really see the problem here since you're controlling where you stop in this situation. I could further explain why but I am not that great at it.

I was talking about optimal damage and in most cases you can still do walk forward 2D for the positioning if you want them in the corner.

J.D whiff is only non-optimal in like 1 or 2 cases lol. One of those is CH 5D.

Match up is simple, Block as much stuff as you can. Back dash 360 the overhead. IB 5A drive cancels at certain heights. If the drive didn't touch you 2A her on A/B cancel and let her do whatevers on C unless you have a good read. (A cancel she just stops, B she flies behind you, C she jumps.) Do not use 2D as an approach, Do not use 5C/6A in pressure, stick to lows unless you read a back dash. Read the back dash, for all that is good and holy read the back dash. Bait super.

Thats the note about 5B being near neutral on block. It pretty much means 5B has a level increase. Level increase means +2 hit/block stun I believe.

It's a system change its gonna probably stick. It makes some sort of sense, it adds a bigger come back factor with burst. Its a nice trade off on green bursts too. You lose half your primers but get back 1/4 of your heat. Why burst at those points? It just doesn't seem like a good idea if they are not close enough to get hit by the burst. Edit: its confirmed! 5B has a level increase. That means we have a different route after colliderx2 I guess. colliderx2>5B>5C>6A>collider. more heat gain!?<3 I won't be surprised if we lose enders doing this though.

Normally when I see posts like that I tend not to respond but what C0R says is correct. Also that ASW employee was Mori himself the guy who made Blazblue a reality. If you main a character and you are true to it then you will learn the match up no matter what, no matter the odds, no matter the cost.

I'm a heat gain guy and always have been. If I don't opt for damage then I am trying to think of heat. I can live with the negatives I just want to know that if I landed a 5A and they are too far for 3C gadget then I still want to collider. I just look at the positives guys, it kills me but 3 years of this teaches you to not worry too much about the negatives and win with positives.

Osuna I love you, where were you. This good thing is something I wanted for 3 years. I waited 3 years for this change. If they keep it we get to do more things like 5A>5B>3C>5B>5C>stuff. Also if 5B has a level increase than that means 5B>2C will work too which is nice...kinda.
