Well if you want to break primers there are safer ways to do it but once you got them scared for their primers you can do more risky things. -

CS1 Tager isn't that bad, he does have things that CT Tager should have had. Hell I win with him so it has to be saying a lot. -
Actually when Ara jump cancels 5D we have an answer to it, hell when he does 5D you can punish it. Punish 5D? 360A or Sledge. Both will work but here's the thing. You gotta buffer them out right before 5D hits you. How to punish Ara for jump cancelling 5D? IB the 5D and now you got options lets see? 2A/2C if he tries to j.b you after it, hell a late backdash can punish autopilot 5A on landing. If he is jumping back to bait and punish then your gonna punish accordingly. This should apply in CS2, since only certain moves got changed as far as I am concerned. Am I the only one here who is totally jaded with Arakune? FYI Backdashing Ara is not all that safe so please please don't think its gonna always work, its like a gimmick. Oh and there are cases in which 2A can't punish/trade with j.B. But off 5D its usually enough if you IB it. Oh and keep in mind Ara's j.D still does not trade. Now I am gonna start updating this thread toodles.

Are you guys still arguing about Tager vs Arakune? The fuck is wrong with you guys? The match up didn't get worse. The match up will never be as bad as CT where being your character gets you cursed and zoned to death. 6A can work on Arakune if he is magnetized and he is trying to set stuff up, it can shit on his zoning. Tagers 6A is about 15F in CS2, its hella faster than CS1! Ara is not gonna 2C it on reaction . Yes Ara is a more trifling character this time around but if you was doing this match up right in CS1 then there is only a couple of new things to look at. Learn, Adjust, and Apply. Ve and Osuna I love you guys but...come the fuck on its Dacid. Dacid that match up is bad...possibly Tager's second worst match up in CS1 but you know. It can't be as bad as Litchi. -
I updated the thread. CrazyI go to sleep. Why am I up? I am sick and spent a good deal of yesterday sleeping so updating the thread now was something I chose to do. FYI I am suffering because of this illness.

6A does not have 1F super armor Dacid. 2A will work if Ara is persistent on j.B's. 2C will work and even sometimes trade in this instance too but its situational. Collider will only work if Ara is doing it off a super or double jump. The match up got worse in the way of Tager having to actually play even more solid than before, I mean the IB nerf actually might have took a shit on poor old Tager. -

Really? maybe its because I spent so much time fighting Arakune that curse mix up doesn't seem so bad, I must admit the invisible teleport's can get annoying if your not careful, I'd like to say that I find Litchi's Daisharin oki way more intimidating. Dacid this was actually a damn good reply. Tager has IB 720 and CA (lol his CA is so bad.) The biggest problem I face in this match is punishing J.B because there is cases in which Tager can't punish without IB and for Tager to really survive curse then he really really really has to know Arakune's gattlings, normally I can get by with 3-5k done to me on curse but there are times where I just get bad luck (yes I said that.) and eat 10k anyways. This is how I see Arakune: if you get cursed and you lose from a hit that leads to massive damage then its badluck, its no other way to explain it, you were just had the misfortune of eating 8k+ try again later. The biggest hurdle is blocking his overheads on reaction instead of assuming he is doing it once you learn that then you won't eat 10k off 2C, then you gotta worry about j.C....I don't even know how I block that. Perhaps I am doing something wrong or the Ara's I play is doing something wrong because Ara's curse mix up doesn't annoy me, its how fast he can get me there if I am not careful. -
I am trying to do the true ending, almost done with gen 5. I did a update to the thread, I'll do more later.

I was sick...and Agarest, good god this game is making me do the disgaea play again...must get everything. Moving on I will be spending a good deal of time revising and adding videos to this thread so keep a look out since I will be re-editing the first post.

6A off Gadget is a terrible idea IMO. Just stick with the usual 5A/360/Collider. I wish 6A was + on block. If I feel better then I will update this thread ASAP. Agarest is making me procrastinate!

LK how do you feel about Arakune curse mix up? Do you find it hard to block? Easy to get by? Do you put the controller down and let them have the round? -
Tager's 5C does not beat Tsu's 5B if spaced, in fact Tager doesn't have a solid answer for it since she doesn't extend her hurt box, at least thats what I observed, I only see 5C stuffing 5B if you tried to run up and 5B him. Another thing Tagers A sledge is -3 on block so if you do bait the sledge, lets assume its A sledge ok? you should IB it so you get your punish, he can't do anything to prevent a punish without heat.

Gold burst is +4...so even if its blocked the defender can apply pressure assuming your opponent does not mash reversal. Note: Gold burst when being pressured won't work unless that pressure has huge holes in it.

I IB Haku-mens 3C offline. Its not too hard Ibing a rising poke, Litchi had a 14F overhead on Tager and I block that regularly. Not saying I am the god of blocking or anything like that. Just saying that you can see the jump start up and block accordingly..That's pretty much what I do.

Arakune has a fast overhead? Oh you mean Rising j.C...it has enough start up to block it, I am more worried about it crossing up which can happen. Um you guys do know you can beat rising j.A by blocking high during jump start up which isn't even hard to see at all.

OK I can agree with this. @ Sg: Good shit. @ LK: I just felt like something is missing, thats why I am gonna drop my playstyle. It was too gimmicky anyway.
