Buying her costs points, which cost money, but time is money anyway. So Armando is considering hosting tonight, but wants to know how much interest from us there is to come over and play BB, any takers?

Thanks Kyle and Louie for coming here and your showing your appreciation, but I agree with Ruben that having THAT many players was likely a one shot deal, because that was literally 90% of our entire community, and 50% of the Flagstaff community that showed up. I think if a few people from SRK got into it, and with the people from DL that would return for a second time, another decent tournament is possible. I think having BB at the SRK gatherings to get some people interested would be key.

yea.............. I just got home from Hazems... I didn't go eat dinner with you guys because I was afraid of not making it back in time to play in the Marvel tournament, but that tournament didn't end up starting until 3:30 am!!! AE TOOK FOREVER I lost 5-4 in a money match with Armando, I would say that was my highlight. gg's, I had a good time, glad everyone came out to have a good turn out for BB, I hope it's not the last time =) gg's Shane, your Jin is solid, I would like to play more in the future. I will add you on bnet.

The event page doesn't have a time slot for BB, but I would imagine we could get him to start it after all the players that had planned on showing up have shown up, but also depends on what time other tournaments happen at, he also might want to get it out of the way ASAP. I texted you but I didn't get a response =/

I think people are planning on going to Hazems on Friday, he is planning on hosting a BB tourny and streaming it, depends on how many heads show up though.

I think your character is built to be played like that, since he has more mobility with double air dash and such, I think my character is meant to counter moves with her moves, hence all the drives having different types of invincibility.

Hazem said he will do BB this Friday, but needs copies of the game. I hope enough ppl show up to do a tournament.

I think practicing the Tager match is still really good for me, I have a lot of trouble with that one. Playing is the fastest way to get out of the scrub level of your new characters. Regardless, I'm up for it, let me know if you ever want to get some games in.

Jimmy if your at home grinding combos, why don't we get some games in in the middle of the week? It would be nice to play more than just once a week. I don't think you live that far from me.

I tried to use more normals last time we played, but they seem to just get beaten out a lot by other characters' normals, which makes me want to switch to drives. Feels like the mind set is to make the opponent scared to use their normals by using drives, then start using normals once they try playing around the drives. This is something I'm still trying to get used to. Not trying to be difficult, just sharing my opinions and ideas about how to play Noel. Also, if you didn't notice, all my big damage combos (outside of the corner) have to start with D (unless I land a raw 3C into haida loop), so I often feel really motivated to use drives since the risk/reward ratio is highly in my favor. Hope this gives an idea of why I play the way I do, and I'm still open to all suggestions and ideas.

I use 2A, 6A, 6B, 2C, 5C, 3C, j. B, j. C. What else should I be using? I tried using 5A the way Tokido did, still trying to get used to that.

But I do worry about it! :O I really wish you would play me more, I always thought you were one of the better players in our community. But it was only one time that you said you didn't feel like playing against Noel, so I hope we can play some in the future :D Most of the SF players talk about having tier players in their community is important for getting experience and playing well at bigger tournies, so having a dedicated makoto player serve us all well. My 2 cents.

counted 4 or 5 people thus far. I don't know when it would be exactly, but it would likely be on a Friday. Microsoft tournament doesn't start until 9 pm tonight, so one could hit up Rubens and the Microsoft thing also....

EVO was a blast. Speaking of recording BB matches and getting good 'n stuff, Hazem is willing to throw BB tournaments and stream them if we get at least 10 people for a tournament. Of course, he lives pretty far away.... but maybe just as far as Ruben lives anyway, maybe even closer to some people than Ruben.... So post up if your interested, I would like to see if we have enough people to do one. FYI he lives on 54th ave. and Baseline.....
