I think it would be preferable to go with +R cause it's available. As much as I don't mind vanilla AC cause <3 easy mode dolphin loops. I can provide a +R setup.

Just think of it like SFIV. A lot of events choose to run the less "arcade perfect" PS3 version because of other reasons. In our case it's convenience for streaming, cause GC has mostly PS3 setups, and cause everyone has PS3 controllers. In SFIV's case, it's most often probably cause of Evo.

If you play on my PS3, I have them. I won't be there this time, but AJ will grab my stuff, so it'll be there.

I think it should be noted that according to the NCI Twitter, Dec NCI is scheduled for this Sat: 12/8.

People should enter Gundam. I received some 6ish free Gundam models and I'll give them away to people who enter. Don't expect any higher grade models though. I'll try to take a picture of them later.

I can currently provide 2 sticks and a PS2->360 converter for people who want to use their own sticks/pads.

3v3 would be new & interesting. We haven't done one in NCI/NCD history, so people can get acquainted with 3v3 strat. Things like team comp, yomi-ing the 1st player by double blind, & choosing the next player to send in. I can run an AP tourney.

Are we gonna have a NCD this Sat, 9/24? Or are we gonna wait until 10/20 for the usual 3rd Sat of the month? I ask because we've been doing events more frequently and because September is a longer month with 5 Saturdays.

Unless people really want it earlier, I was thinking of starting AP tourneys beginning Oct. This time, I expect there to be probably 2 setups running it the entire time, so people can get some more exp with the game. If you've never touched the game before, try it out! On the subject of AP tourneys, I've been at some deliberation about the tourney rule set and I think I've come to a decision, but I'm gonna toss it out here and see if anyone opposes it. The issue in question is char selection. Should winners be allowed to change their partner chars if they win? I'm leaning towards an adaptation of SFIV ultra selection rules where it would be yes, but they must choose before their opponent. Opinions?

Most matches will be run on Gamecenter's consolized arcade cabs, which have sticks that you can use. If you would rather use your own controller, there are USB ports on the cabs. If you want to play on the stream setup, you'll either need to use your own controller or borrow someone else's.

Everyone get hype for AP!

I did a little testing with the help of Manabe yesterday. It will not beat Mitsuru, Kanji, Yukiko, or Teddie B+D. All other DPs will whiff or lose outright. All counter DPs except Teddie's will be triggered, but they will whiff and are punishable.

Since a danisen won't take all day, I wonder if we'll have enough people and character variety at NCD to do a P4U 13v13. Cause that would be pretty cool.

I will run AQUAPAZZA. Everyone should play it! I recently was moved back to a weekday shift, so I should be able to attend NCDs.
