This sounds good. Either Southtown or Game Center would be fine. Both arcades are new and they could use the business and community support. Depending on which place we go to, I can spend some time playing some KoFXIII or Gundam vs Gundam on the side!

Who's running AH3? Whoever it is, PM me or something. We need to talk seeding. All top 3-4 seeds of the season will be absent.

So um, I'll be at AX. If there's enough interest and people to run MB & AH in July, someone will have to run it for me. Don't think it'll be much of an issue though cause I know other people'll be going to AX too, so we'll probably just skip both games for a month.

I've been active in the NorCal MB scene for the last four years and I can tell you that, as the scene is right now, that cab would not get the kind of play that it needs to justify the purchase. I don't think it's in the best interest for a new startup arcade like Southtown to put CC in over another game. A few months back, I advised Kazuo, the owner of Southtown, this. Mind you, I would love to see CC in NorCal & I would definitely go out to play it, but I want to see Southtown do well for a while before they take some risks on games. Also, I don't think I'm familiar with your handle. Have you been active in the local MB scene? Cause I figure I would know you if you have. I've run almost all the MB tourneys in NorCal & organized a lot of sessions for the game in the last few years. I may not know you if you're one of those SF guys who used to play at Oscar's.

I know some of us are going to AX that weekend. I am, so someone else would have to run MB & AH3 in my place. Also, I hear Chun's going, and well, he kinda gets us our venue.

Chun, edit the first post. This should be the last time someone mistakes the 3rd Sat as a NCI event. Other Norcal events have their own threads.

Only if you have a JP credit card linked with the account. Cause Games on Demand are in actual money, not Microsoft points. And you cannot link a credit card w/o a Japanese address with a JP XBL account.

Nothing NCI related.

I have Psychic Force 2 from JP PSN on my PS3. & DC Psychic Force, but currently not my DC. Also, what is this about MK? -.-

Sorry, been lazy taking the laptop with the results out of my car. AH3 Results: 1: Cuilan B (lark) - Fiona/Maori 2: Xie - Heart 3: Brettania - Eko 4: TONE!! - Akane 5: tsubasa - Petra 5: Baloney-O's - Nazuna/Catherine 7: 2GBCombo - Saki 7: Coopa - Zenia 9: Rifu 9: PlasticChicken2 9: eh-sama 9: WallJumpMan 13: Chun 13: Tresnor 13: Dacidbro 13: CopperDabbit 17: Shining Aquas Bracket: http://cubskirt.net/images/ncimarah3.jpg Note: For some reason, TIO went crazy on me and placed Aquas in the bracket twice. Even though he was only one entrant entry. It didn't affect anything like pot payout estimates, so I just made the second instance of Aquas a bye. MBAA Results: 1: YAT - Warachia 2: Xie - Mech/Ries 3: Qaenyin - Neko Arc Chaos 4: StylinGuido (sG/MissedFRC) - Warc 5: Snozzwangler - Ryougi 5: PMP(YAT) (Brettania) - Maids 7: NeZ (Digital Watches) - Ries 7: dakanya - V.Akiha 9: [F4L]Plastic 9: DJcream 9: Shining Aquas 9: tsubasa 13: Winty 13: eh-sama 13: magz Bracket: http://cubskirt.net/images/ncimarmbaa.jpg Special thanks to Alex & Tone for helping me out with brackets. It would have been so much harder without the extra hands. I'll probably need similar help each month if I'm to continue running two brackets.

I have a component splitter that AJ & I usually use to stream & record SD games @NCI. I figured that was going to be the arrangement like usual?

I don't really play 02, but I can rock an easy team like Iori/Athena/Kula or something.

Most of the pertinent text is in katakana, so it's really not that scary if you've taken a class of JP or self studied a little. Very seldomly have I hit a particularly difficult kanji wall. The JP ver has an all star voice cast. Also, I have the original Dissidia in JP & I wanted to data transfer. This. I personally thought XIII was alright. Certainly not an amazing game, but solid & worth my time to play through it. Never played XII, but it looks hype cause it's like XI, but offline. I'll definitely play it someday. On the subject of Star Ocean, I'm a fan of the series & I very much enjoyed Last Hope. The battle system is hype. Blind siding is mayhaps overpowered, but it was really fun & added a skill-based defensive option I felt like the game really needed. It really annoys me how blocking in Star Ocean games is stat based. I've played most of the Tales of series, so I'm really used to manual blocking, magic guard, etc. Star Ocean needs to step their game up & offer up some similar options.

KoFXIII? Someone's gonna bring a Type X2 & supergun? Pretty sure that's not happening, but I'm gonna express interest anyway!
