Are you guys using pads or something? I rarely get a 236C, but never a 3C. Using a stick with a square gate makes it really easy.

I'll use Luna at neutral for some matchups, Hakumen included. You do need to switch to dia to keep some gravity on him though. As I said before, I really enjoy the mode switch as it gives us a lot of freedom for more than one style of play and more tools in our arsenal to keep the game fresh. A guide to Nu for beginners wouldn't be a bad idea. I've seen a lot of the Nus that started at launch have moved to other characters due to the changes made to her. There's a lot to keep track of when you're playing compared to other characters and some type of guidance would be really helpful for people. I don't mind helping out any way I can as well.

I couldn't think of anything worth while. I figured perhaps it would at least make people go back and count the teams. Don't ask me why that came to mind or sounded like a good idea.

They are, but they can be a pain online sometimes. Awesome Izayoi, very fun to play.

Yeah, it seems you have to really time hits sometimes and somewhat mash others. It took me a lot of practice in the first few weeks to finally get a decent feel of what I'm doing. I'm still not great at it, but I enjoy the different matchups and playing online helped a lot. Training offline is great for combos and pressure, but matchup experience may be the problem. All of the characters feel a bit different to fight than EX to me.

I have no subs either, however I don't mind the changes as much. The 22A combos can be a pain online, but I ultimately enjoy all of the freedoms I have now with the phase shifts.

Have you thought about picking up a sub to deal with the frustrations? Something not as complex to play around on when you're feeling overwhelmed?

I'm not really sure. I was yellow before, then lost those matches to Mac and ended up in light green, now I'm orange. I've seen some really good players with yellow/green and played some orange people that weren't that fun to play (it could have been the matchup). I wish there was a known formula for how the colors work. edit: I know they change in the lobby and player matches. I haven't done many ranked, so I can't give any absolutes for that mode.

I usually play pretty bad when I'm tired, but I think I'll end up jumping on soon and just staying up tonight to get back into the correct sleep pattern...so if anyone is looking for a free Nu to bash, I'll be there.

I've played a few, but I've only ran into 1 valk so far. Noel/Ragna is a rarity as well surprisingly....not saying that's a bad thing. I wish Jin wasn't as popular as he is either.

I think it's the speed. The game has a lot tighter timing for things it seems. You say "mashy" combos, but I've been worrying so much more about timing everything better (usually putting in a delay of some kind) in all of my combos. I even find my self dropping 3C > 22A > 3C online. It makes me want to shoot myself in the leg.

I have talked with Crossfire and he cannot make it due to scheduling. I am ok with the Chrono replacing him.
