I'm trying to 6A him, but his reach is scary... Does it always blue beat after the 3C into the low kick? I'm trying to tech, but it connects everytime.

I've seen that happen a lot too. I need to test it out more.

Look at each of the lobbies in the North America region and pick the one with the most people (It's what I usually do.) Once you're in, if you press square (default of A if you're on stick) and give it a minute and it will update with the connections of everyone in the lobby. They're listed based on their proximity to you. From there, seek out and play those that have a good connection with you. There are also two "beginner" cabs in the top left portion of the lobby if you want to try your luck at those. I don't usually see people on them, but it's an idea. GL and have fun. Just an addition from the Nu side of things. In Luna mode, her drives have priority and will cease cancelling out your ground projectile and start absorbing them, so you can be punished on approach if you're using that as a shield to get in. However, those higher priority drives will not net a follow-up drive on block like in Dia mode, thus the pressure isn't nearly as bad on block.

For the last pick of the first draft, I'll take LegendaryRath and for the first pick of the second draft, I'll take Crossfire.

This video does help, thank you. That is about what I've been doing, but it seems I just need a lot more practice at it. I'm usually blocking for a good 20 seconds before either I slip up, or manage a counter assault. I probably need to work on capitalizing on when I DO get out. Thanks for the reference and response.

Ok guys. I'm going to be honest. I'm getting destroyed by good Taos.. Has anyone found a decent way out of endless pressure strings besides blocking until eternity? I know the best option is to not let her in, but with her speed, I'm having a hell of a time setting the pace of the match.

With all these additions to keep track of, I feel like I'm trying to play Iron Man against Vergil in a lot of these matchups..it's frustrating as hell. I have spent much of my time in the corner blocking until eternity...or until I guess wrong and die. I think the complexity will give us a lot of options and tools to work with later on though. We're still only in week 1.

I just moved to Indianapolis and will be going to weeklies pretty heavily again once this game launches. I have been absent from the FGC for the last month or two due to moving and going to JP for a bit, but I'm glad to hear there are others in the area interested in BBCP. I will be playing GG as well. I look forward to people making it out to regional tournaments for CP.

Unfortunately, I'll miss this year's EVO. Last year, I went for the BB side tourney alone and had some of the best matches I've ever had. Good luck everyone, I'll be overseas testing out CP and watching the stream.

I threw some at BB and GG. I traveled there last year just for the BB side tournament, and you bet I'll be there again this year just for BB and GG..and I guess I'll jump in P4U for the giggles. So I look forward to some great matches with everyone.

Agreed. After years of Nu/Lambda, this is taking some getting used to. I enjoy it though and look forward to learning the new style. I thought about Yukiko, but Aigis just has too much firepower stuffed in that little metal body for me to pass it up. And I'll have to focus more on this game anyway until they bring Nu back in BB (which shouldn't be long.)
