Due to the shear amount of people attending FRXV we need to start the door registration earlier than normal. The ballroom will not be open until 10am. Anyone that can not be at the hotel on friday morning March 2nd, 2012 MUST SIGN UP ONLINE register for their badge and games or they will not be able to compete in the tournaments. No they will not be put in a later pool if they don't sign up online. They need to email the webmaster on the fr website to notify us that he will need to be in the late pools. There is NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED in the MAIN BALLROOM! Also there is a no open container policy in the hotel so you can't be walking around the hotel with a cup of your favorite beverage in the hotel. This is not a casino people! You may drink in your room or at the bar in the hotel, but there can't be people walking around the hotel with open containers in The Westin Hotel period! This behavior could put the event in jeopardy of being cancelled by the hotel so this is a SERIOUS policy not to forget!

To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of FINAL ROUND along with celebrating some friends birthdays WE WILL BE THROWING A PARTY on Saturday March 3, 2012 When day 2 ends! The Hotel will set up a mini bar in the lobby for those that are of the age to have drinks while "DJ Spiralpowered" but the community knows him as "JAXX" and DJ Big NAHZ will be providing the musical entertainment for the 15th Anniversary party Your host will be Scott Popular so you know the party will be hype! Space is limited so this is 1st come 1st served party! The party will be free to enter for players attending FRXV as long as you have your badge on ($10 without a badge), but the drinks will not be free. Beer/Wine/Mixed Drinks will be sold by the hotel mini bar at their hotel cost. Anyone that can prove their birthday is within march will get a piece of cake for sure! Yes you can and for anyone that has reg online remember if you get in town on thursday you can pick up your badge that evening while we are setting up. We will also do sign up's on thursday also at the door, but we advise you to sign up online while you can. During FINAL ROUND XV The hotel wireless internet is not free, but we have it at a reduce rate for those that have reserved a room under the FINAL ROUND GROUP. The wireless internet rate is $5.95 per day in your room under the Final Round group. Please make sure you recieve the correct rate if you order it for your room.

This depends on if you register online or not. If you register online we will do our best to seperate players by region or click/teams, but if you show up at the door and register you will be placed in the bracket were you fit. Of course we aren't going to purposely put you up against your friend in the 1st round, but you run the risk of having to play against them if you and your friend don't register online. The only way you can make sure we will seperate you from the people in your area is that you register online. If you register at the door you will be just another name to put in the brackets/pools, but if you register online we will put you in the system according to all of the info you give us. Also you need to make sure you put your location when registering online. The key to making the brackets/pools is to get the majority of the players to sign up online so we can have the majority of the pools/brackets done by thursday evening. On friday during at the door registration we will just add people in the 1st available spot in the pool/brackets. If you don't register online you will have no one but yourself to blame if you have to play against someone you always play against within the 1st 3 rounds! So I advise everyone that KNOW they are coming to FRXV to online register! Who wants to come a major and play their friend in the 1st 3 rounds? I know I wouldn't but that's not up to me.

With FINALROUNDBATS season #2 completed we would like to congrat the winners of season#2 in the following games: FRbats season #2 CHAMPION of Tekken6 is "AO" as he is the #1 ranked TTT2 player and T6 player in Japan! FRbats season #2 CHAMPION of UMVC3 is "Ageo Joe" (aka Kusoru) as he is one of the Best Marvel players in the japanese umvc3 community and he is looking to show his skills at FRXV! FRbats season #2 CHAMPION of SSFIV AE v.2012 is "Abelity" with his Abel is coming to scoop the competition at FRXV! Don't sleep on him or you will get SCOOPED! Also "Frieda" is coming to FRXV to represent in his favorite game UMvC3. He is one of the best Marvel players in the japanese UMvC3 community and he is also coming to show his talents at FRXV. Last year 1 man named Tokido came to FRXIV and took top 2 through top 8 in almost every game he entered. With a 1 man invasion japan did very well last year at FRXIV, but now there is a team coming!
