So I will officially change GG to sat now. The community has spoken!

To everyone that hasn't pre-reg online payment yet there is only 39 days until FR14 and only 28 days until the online $10 badge/entry fee discount is over and only 15 days until the Final Round hotel room rate of $89.00 will be over also. As of right now we have 22 rooms sold at the moment and every room that's not sold I get back charged on the ballroom fee's. If you have a chance to get your room please do it asap. Like always FR must pay for itself because I don't have any major cash sponsors for Final Round. This is all out of my pocket for the love of the community, so if we don't make it to 100 rooms by Feb 14 I get screwed royally. Anyone flying to Final Round will be happy to know that the hilton has a 24/7 shuttle that runs every 15-20 minutes to and from the airport to the event hotel. This is another reason to book a room at the event hotel. Free transport from the airport to the event hotel.

It's not ONLY stream time i'm worry about. To run final round in a timely manner something has to be on friday. We CAN'T HAVE 1823907831727 games on sat and at the moment we have more games than there should be on sat. Last year a lot of players that played in the gg tournament also played in the bb tournament. I'm trying to eliminate the CHAOS part of running the tournament and create more structure to our event without creating chaos. This is not a diss to the GG community by being on friday. If it is then i'm sorry and i'm not trying to kill the attendance of the gg tournament. I can't add anymore games to sat. We can't make things more clutter than they already are. So it's part no room for anymore games on sat and part more chance to put EVERY GAME on a stream to be shown for the community to enjoy! I hope this doesn't detour people from attending FR14, but if it does i'm sorry. With MvC3 coming out just before FR14 we have to adjust/prepare to have over 250+ in 3 tournaments starting on sat. Tekken6, SSF4, and MvC3 and we need a lot of resources dedicated to those tournaments to complete them in a timely manner. GG has always been apart of Final Round tradition every year. I hope we can make this a great event for everyone attending FR14. I will look up the tv's in the rooms and get back with you on that question. The last time I saw the rooms you could hook up your own joints to the tv's, but they said they would be going through a remodeling just before FR14, so I won't know about the tv's until closer to the event dates.

As of right now I have to say GGXXAC has to be on friday. I don't want to have BB and GG going at the same time due to me wanting to put both tournaments on the stream for fr14. The more games on 1 day means some games might be left off the stream. I'm trying to balance the tournament games out so everyone gets some time on a stream and people aren't running back and forth between ggxxac and bb on the same day. I would say sat and sunday, but we are trying to have nothing but top 8 or top 16 on sunday. I hope people understand what i'm trying to do with the tournament. It's all for the greater good of the tournament. I think I will prolly put tekken, GG, Meltyblood on my stream on finalroundstreams and the gf on team spookys stream on sunday.

Sorry I havent been on here, but let me update you guys on whats going on. GGXXAC is an official tournament game now. We will get more games on the stream this year. Matter of fact there will be 2 streams going on at FR14. Team spooky will be handling the main stream and we will have a stream for tekken on friday and saturday. But since I control the stream I can put GG on there if I want to.

Anyways, this will be 1 day Qualifier tournament for FR14 in the following games: SSF4 Tekken6 BB:CS SF2ST:HDremix The top 2 of each tournament will recieve free entry into FR14 and free entry in the game they placed high and seeding at FR14!:karate: Door fee= $20 Entry: SSF4=$10 Tekken6= $10 BB:CS=$10 SF2ST:HDremix=$5 All games will be Double elimination unless we get over 128 man bracket. If any tournament goes over 128 we will do pool play with four 32 man double elim pools since this is a 1 day event. Standard rules apply for all games. 3k and 3p buttons are allowed in ssf4, but no mapping buttons for the following : MK+MP=focus button LP+LK=Throw button HP+HK=taunt button :nono: 3k and 3p are allowed in hdremix also. Of course the community help is ALWAYS welcome to donate equipment/set up to the event to get free entry to the event. A Full set up = TV(none laggy tv) system+game with everything unlocked=free entry into the event! System+games will get you a $10 discount, but those are on a need to use basis. (i'm sorry Justin Wong there's no tofu house near the new location) The Hilton Ballroom is a serious upgrade from the old hotel ballroom. We have a EMS member "Scott Popular" aka "Negro Install" running a japanese ranbat tournament called FinalRoundBats and the winner of the finalroundbats in SSF4 will represent Japan at FR14. Great players like tokido and mago are recent winners of finalroundbats and I can't wait to see who comes to FR14.
