Oh, I know it isn't standard and it isn't even extended, but I play for fun here at the UA with a bunch of pretty scrub-tastic people, so I don't actually want them to hate me. They already said I would be cheating if I ran a Sen Triplets EDH Wizard deck. -

Personally, always go for the reset if it is a strong one. Example of a good reset would be CT Rachel's corner 5CDC 214A 3C(1 hit) 236A 6A BBL walk back 214B (watch for tech) 214A2D 236A (214B 214A2D 236A)xN for stupidity if they neutral or back tech and just use 5B if they forward tech.

Pfft. So is Mu not playable? I kind of want to know if anything happened to her. I think she's pretty balanced as is I just hope they had more hitstun to her lasers.

I think it says Arakune's damage from 6A>j.C was lowered because j.C isn't as strong. Gets about 6300.

Skye: Honestly, to be perfectly honest if I knock you away I'm going to (5D 6D j.5D j.6D land)xn until you come to me. There isn't enough time there to throw out a cloud, but it isn't the best formation for preventing your approach, so as soon as an Arakune begins to approach, I switch up the formation to 5D 4D j.5D j.2D, potentially popping them or throwing out a 236D laser if you get too close in order to force you to block, RTSD for a short while, and then run away rinse and repeat. Not gonna lie, I played a bunch of Arakune matches this morning (a good Ara on Ranked, forgot the name) and I can solidly say that it is probably 5.5 - 4.5 if not 6 - 4 Mu's favor. Her zoning is actually really good against Ara as long as you switch the formation based on position. Also, the first position, (5D 6D j.5D j.6D)xn also works if you teleport. I can just IABD away to where you originally were and it essentially devolves into tag, only you're it and I have a field of lasers that hone in on you.

As of now with Rachel's buffs, she gets her 7 - 3 matchup back against Tager. =/ j.A as overhead gives her safe, airtight overheads off 5B which also gatlings into 2B. This is a 50/50 that now resets into itself with j.2C being cancelable upon landing. Example: j.A j.3DC land 5B 50/50 rinse and repeat. -
I say they're both solidly mid-tier.

Makoto's 3C is the exact same thing as Tao cat crawl, only faster. The only attacks that will hit her is 2B, 3C and SoD. This makes pressuring her midrange ridiculously hard because the second you do a 5C or 6C and she does a 3C, you take damage and eat oki.

Yeah, 236D oki isn't that great but it's useful as an oki mixup. I usually use 5D j.2D IAD or other forms of small setups into RTSD. Usually works.

Huh. No one really plays Noel at all. So we'll agree that Mu vs Lambda is even and Arakune vs. Mu is 5.5 - 4.5 Mu's favor? I can agree with those. And the matchup against Hakumen is most definitely not 6 - 4. It feels too even for that. Sure he can cut your lasers but you can also throw a stein behind his portal with 6D and continue zoning pressure. They have about the same range on their normals but Hakumen 4C is slightly faster than anything you have, which is why I'd say it's 5.5 - 4.5 Haku. He doesn't get anything off a CH 4C at max range but Mu gets oki and knockdown off a max range CH 5C and a max range 6C may be a projectile but if you get a CH he's going to eat stupid damage.

I'll agree with you on Carl then. I had forgotten that 236D goes through Nirvana regardless and 214D pops destroy her life, especially when they are stacked on top of her. Carl also has a huge problem trying to approach. Reasons for advantage against Arakune? I said it was even because he can 2C out of 236D oki, jump out, teleport out, 3C, etc... and Arakune's air movement is too sporadic to properly punish any jump outs from her other oki options consistently. Homing lasers are useless against him since he's constantly moving, so zoning isn't a viable answer. Also, Mu's attacks are slow enough that any pressure outside of the corner can be jumped out of pretty easily which lets Arakune run away some more. I think that if it's in her favor at all, it would be 5.5 - 4.5 Mu. What are your reasons for the 6-4 matchup?

So I want everyone who can help with this to do so, but again the Mu forums are pretty bad for this sort of thing. Here are what I think Mu's matchups are. If you play the characters mentioned, please feel free to input how you feel the matchup is. Bang - 6.5 - 3.5 Bang Litchi - 6 - 4 Litchi Hazama - 6 - 4 Hazama Haku-men - 5.5 - 4.5 Hakumen Taokaka - 5.5 - 4.5 Taokaka Ragna - 5.5 - 4.5 Ragna Mu - 5 - 5 Arakune - 5 - 5 Lambda - 5.5 - 4.5 Mu Carl - 5.5 - 4.5 Mu Jin - 5.5 - 4.5 Mu Tsubaki - 5.5 - 4.5 Mu Rachel - 6 - 4 Mu Tager - 6.5 - 3.5 Mu (possibly 7-3 but I won't say something so bold) I'm not sure how the Makoto matchup is. I've played it a few times but not enough to actually have an opinion about it. These numbers are just speculation. Any thoughts?
