It should be noted that bloom trigger still wall bounces near the corner.

Every character has a 5B OR 5C that is air-unblockable, and I haven't heard anything on which one is Noel's. I'm kinda torn on which one I want to be air-unblockable, as you said, 5C has a better ability to catch jumpers out of blockstrings, but I prefer 5B as a poke, and if it is getting buffed, adding an air-unblockable property would help make it be a more solid poke, which Noel lacks at the moment.

You might be doing 22BC right after the throw, the opponent will be able to tech in the middle of 5D and d.6B if you add the 22B. But it does work if you go directly into 22C. Against Carl, you just have to hit the last 6c pretty low to the ground and maybe delay the 5D by like a frame or 2, but it can work.
-
22C should still be untechable early on in the combo, so it probably is possible to wait a little while before doing 6C. I remember the loketest notes saying that it is possible to combo into 6c from further away since it bounces higher, there isn't really a point in saying that it will combo if 22C was techable before you could actually get there. So the 6C 4D d.6C 2D spring raid combo should still work in the corner for at least 4k. 5D should also still combo after 6C, there are some combos where I delay 5D by a few frames, so 5D being slower should only make it so a delay is not necessary.

BBCS2 Loketest 4: Oct. 23 Discussion (NO COMPLAINING)
2 GB Combo replied to Spirit Juice's topic in Archive
4D only combos into d.6A on CH, the only move Noel can combo after 4D on normal hit is d.5A. The change probably means 4D does combo into d.6a on normal hit, which would be pretty helpful. -
You are probably doing it too fast, try delaying the j.d more. Also note that both Carl and Rachel have a weird hitbox and usually require the j.d to be delayed more than usual
-
That's the worst thing Noel could possibly do against Tager, hell against everybody. TK revolver blast is worthless, even if you hit with it, they can usually punish it after you land. Tager can probably just 360B. Don't do it EVER.
-
4D FC forces stand anyway, so there isn't really a problem with crouchers except that crouching attacks beat 4D clean like Chiizu mentioned.
-
I actually use that one sometimes, I totally forgot about it, although it's still pretty hard to land it by itself. But I would still like to see more RC combos, like spring raid RC airdash 6C or something like that.
-
Well it's really hard to actually get a clean 236D to actually hit anyway and it rarely happens, so I really can't call it useful. I want combos like 5B 5C hell's fang RC 6C with ragna, or lambda's j.214D RC airdash j.c j.2c land 5C. I want RC combos that we have to rely on in situations that happen frequently, but wouldn't normally be able to get damage off of. Most of the characters in BBCS lack these kind of combos, but since they want BBCS2 to be a more corner based game, I can see RC's happening much more frequently in BBCS2 now that most of the cast lack the midscreen combos they used to have.
-
I'm pretty sure that combo does around 6.5k, but I have an FC combo that doesn't involve an RC, but only a super at the end which does 6.2k, I don't really think it's worth 50% meter to get 400-500 extra damage. Same thing with the other one you posted, it's possible to get 5.2k off 5D CH or 2D CH without an RC, I just personally don't think it's a wise use of meter to gain 500-800 extra damage, it's usually not enough to change the number of combos required to kill the opponent.
-
I think we might actually have to use meter for RCs during midscreen combos. In CS, I just saved my meter for supers and the occasional CA or RC for a accidental blocked 3c or spring raid. I always wished Noel could use RC for legitimate combos, it always kind of annoyed me that Noel didn't really have any cool looking RC combos that were actually useful.

I'm talking about regular 6B, it was at the very end of the video. Although d.6b does looks faster, hopefully it is just faster along with the rest of CR rather than just seeming faster due to less hitstop. I would really like some real CR pressure, or at least safe CR strings.
-
Maybe it's just me, but I think that 6B looks way faster in the recovery department. Previously there was this big pause where Noel would completely stop moving for a few frames before pulling back. But in the video, 6B looked really smooth during its recovery. But again, it could just be me.

Just separate the two and put the new info from the second loketest below the info from the first loketest, and title them by loketest # and date. There isn't a need to come up with a new list that encompasses both loketests and future ones. I think if we just separate the list by loketests, it will be much easier to see how they are trying to balance Noel and compare info from multiple loketests.

Using google translater, I got some more info on some more changes, Noel ● - Improvements C combo is easier going from a long distance to higher floating Haider Early generation of the barrel 6A to win a crouch munch 5C can also be guards jc CR is faster in those behaviors Eating Burumutoriga slide down the ground - Weakening point C tricky when you go to the thermal component was higher floating Tame Takashi Haider 5D even slower than during the occurrence of AM show. Moment from the reservoir out front, long distance Will tend to blow sideways on Supuringureido, and not to the side of the screen can not chase Hyder said additional multiplier technique? To remove long Haidakon Thermal degradation Seems things are picking up. Faster optic barrel is nice, Seems like 6A will hit crouchers(YES) Guess we can also expect drives to be faster, but who knows HOW they will be faster. The startup moves or in-drive moves, guess we will have to wait and see. And I like the return of 5C being jump cancelable.

From the October 8th loke test. Noel - Noel D moves changed - Bloom Trigger slides - No more HAIDA combos - Noel SPRING RAID knocks across the screen, can't followup unless in corner. 5D even slower. Uhhhh, I really do not know what to think about these changes, it seems like they want to make Noel suck even more. No haida, no Spring Raid to 6C combos, I don't even know how Noel will be able to get decent damage midscreen anymore. I'm interested in how Noel D moves have changed, but I'm speculating that they aren't good changes.

The problem with using j.d d.6b super in that FC combo is that they can immediately tech out of the super, and you lose oki. EDIT: After further testing, j.d d.6b super works at the end of an FC combo if you super jump the last j.d and time it so you only hit once. Depending on how many hits d.6c does, and how many hits the last j.d does, the super may be teched out before the finisher, or the opponent may air tech out of it as soon as the finisher lands, or they just fall to the ground normally and tech afterwards. IMO, it is much harder to consistently time the j.d to only hit once. So I wouldn't recommend trying to use d.6b at all during the FC combo I posted above.

Fun 4D FC combo for you guys. 4D FC, d.6C, 2D, 5D, d.5C, 2147A, 2B, 6C, 22C(slight delay), dash 6C, 2D(slight delay), 623D, dash 6C, sj.D, 6D, d.5C, j.d(delay), land super. This combo does around 6k-6.2k depending on how many hits d.6C does. It is also pretty much universal on everybody except Makoto, and maybe Valkenhayn, but I haven't been able to test it on him as I have an xbox. Note: Just to avoid confusion, when I mean 22C(slight delay), I mean slightly delay the 22C.

Yes it is very possible to get 5D CH on B sledge, if you are not getting the CH, then you are pressing it too late. The general rule is that you press 5D the moment where he starts to actually move forward with the attack.

I had no ride anyway, so I doubt that we could have gone anyway. -
Thanks for recording that match, and all the other matches in general. And a side note, my name spelled Filip, instead of Philip, everyone gets it wrong, so yea, just remember next time.

Super fun tournament, I had tons of fun. But I should have stopped trying to mash drive too go through Arakune's j.b, you would think I would have figured out that it doesn't work after the first 50 times I tried . But regardless, it was fun, although I think I should play this game more than twice a month. -
High School Noel player who plays once a month, and never posts :/
