  1. 2B is for sure 7f, both 2A and 2B trade with 3B after 22A so they have to be the same speed. I plan to test frame advantage sometime this week, but it's going to be hard without any recording equipment. I'll post here when I'm done.

Alright I went ahead and tested the startups of some of his normals. 22A/B is +1, so I used that and other known frame data as a reference. 5A: 6f 2A: 7f 5B: 9f 2B: 7f 5C: 15f 2C: 11f 6B: 13f (this is when the projectile is guaranteed to come out) 3B: 8f 3C: 15f 6C: 13f 6[C]: 27f Feel free to put this on the wiki. I'll try to find frame advantage later.
  3. I'll be at gamecenter on Saturday starting from around 5 or 6, so if anyone wants to play AH3 or BB with me to practice up for Evo, I'll be there.

  15. Well if j.4d is as fast as everybody is making it sound, then we maybe could use it as an anti anti-air. It could potentially scare opponents to not attempt anti-airs. But 5C being jump cancelable on block just helps Noel pressure be safer and have just more options in general.
  16. lol, i know, its just that Vineeth went onto my account and posted that you were free, so I just edited it, Vineeth has gotten a lot better recently. But wait, did you say Vineeth's defense is bad? Because it's the opposite for me, his offense could use some work and his defense could be toned down a bit(but maybe that's cuz I play Noel and Noel has no mixups what so ever, but w/e)

  18. I'm so glad to hear that her abare was increased, it was so frustrating too take a huge risk with a crappy normal like 5a and and get 2k off of it. Hopefully these changes will stick, Noel players deserve a good character after the shit we went through in CS1.
  19. 6A hitting crouchers helps Noel a ton because she doesn't need to hitconfirm anymore, throwing out 2B>6A was dangerous because if they blocked 2B, they would punish you for whiffing 6A. Previously, for Noel too hitconfirm 2B into 6A effectively and safe, she would have to do 2B>2B>6A, but 2B>2B scales so much and usually pushes them too far to connect 6C afterwards, it's usually not even worth it. The buff allows Noel's pressure and mixup game to be a little bit better since 2B can now effectively combo with little risk. And with the new 5B>2B gattling, she has an actual mixup off 5B between 2B and 6B, both which can potentially lead into a combo now.
  20. Well since Noel is a bad character, and doesn't get too many chances to do damage in a competitive environment, maximizing the damage, even if it's just a little, helps tremendously. Low tiers have to work extra hard to win, that's why they are low tier, if someone wants to succeed with a low tier character, they have to go the extra mile and learn the really difficult combos, even if it's just for a few extra points of damage. Although if you are competing in a tournament, just stick to what you know, you should only try the hard combos if you have enough faith in your execution.
  21. RC'less air super combo in the corner only. Thor dash 6C 4D d.6C 2D 623D 6C B+C 6C j.D 6D d.6B d.5B d.5C 236D [5.3k/6.2k with fenrir] In order to connect dash 6C after air super, you have to be: 1. outside 5C range 2. Around iad height(this changes slightly depending on how far you are) I guess this combo is somewhat practical if you have good yomi and can do psychic air supers.
  22. Well from the loketest video, it's already confirmed that 236D still slides on midscreen air hit. I want it to slide on standing opponents even in the corner, since it could possibly open up some weird combo opportunities, but logically, I think it will just wallbounce in the corner regardless of opponent stance. The only thing we can really do is just wait and see.
  23. A new guide for CS1 would be pretty useless since CS2 is only around a month away. I was planning on making a guide anyway once CS2 comes around, I can do it if people want me too.
