P4A Jpn console release confirmed as August 2nd. About two weeks too late for West Toast... Edit: Maybe if I could fucking read I'd be able to tell that it's June not July for West Toast XVI. P4U date pushed forwards to late July for JPN, August 7th for us, still cool. Game's actually kinda fun from what I played at E3.

I'll bring Moe Fighter, Jewpuncher and Bullet Hell Fighter next time. I also have Pokemon Type Wild, Hinokakera (3.00), Vanguard Princess, Wonderful World, Big Bang Beat, #Reload, Acceleration of Suguri 2 (1.00), and a few other poverty fighters on this thing if people are interested.

FFA can't get P4:U until console release, because it's Nesica Live exclusive and we can't run it. So we'll hopefully be getting Under Night In-Birth...assuming it's not the same story. Also, there's supposed to be a local tourney this Sunday, is there not? Because I'm itching for some GG. Some EFZ and Akatsuki would be nice too. I'll bring 'em.

Guilty Gear all day any day. So if I bring Catherine, you think people will enter, Id? I mean, I only have the 360 version, but the PS3 is supposed to be standard. Whatever, I'll bring it and probably Puzzle League if the others aren't too reluctant to play some sexy ass game.

You know, I honestly still don't really care for Persona. I have 3 and I keep hearing great things about 4...but by people who kind of have a shitty taste in games. I can't really bring myself to get back to P3 since I'm king of sick of RPGs in general, but the game itself still has my vote for the moment. Under Night still doesn't have enough footage to convince me of anything, and although Daemon Bride is supposed to be Examu's equivalent of IaMP, I just cannot bring myself to stomach the motif. Everything just feels so blah about it. I'd honestly hope you could pick up a copy of Gundam ExVS before we do (Bobman, Blumpkin King and I all agreed to pitch in for a copy sometime down the line, and hopefully soon), and having it on four arcade boards would be absolutely awesome, though FFA doesn't have the room unless you clear out a few of your three (four?) Third Strike setups. Geez. The console version does have split screen, but to play the actual 2v2, you need four screens and four PS3, which already sounds like a massive hassle. One more thing: CATHERINE. I WILL RUN TOURNAMENTS. GAME IS TOO GOOD.

I'll toss mine in the bag, then. Also, more interested in the Persona Fighter than Under-Night. Maybe that's just because there's barely any footage of UN, but P4U definitely looks to play closer to GG than BB.

I have 2 PS2 sticks, but they're both ass. One is stiff as hell, the other has two faulty buttons. I can probably borrow Bobman's though, since it's in decent condition.

May I safely assume that there's no tournament next week?

Didn't happen. The only people who showed up were Shin, Jason, Id and Bobman. Next one is Sunday, Oct. 30th by the way. Probably 2 p.m. We're back to biweeklies, as long as Id can still make it. His car is six ways past busted.

The last place I saw a Virtual On cab was broken set at Nickel Nickel. I swear if you take out that VO OMG machine and smash it to pieces I will beat you to death with the remnants of the chair. Unless it's already broken. I'll take the twin sticks for 5 dollars.

Tension also carries over. Not sure about bursts, but I believe that it comes back full when one of your characters get knocked out.
